  • We’ve seen record high prices for used-cars over the past 2 years, but not all cars went up in resale value equally. However, these 10 vehicles on this list - have historically maintained their value well and hold their value best. As per iSeeCars research these are the top 10 cars depreciated the least within last 5-years and high in demand in the US right now.

Reliability factor in low depreciation only applies to the Toyotas here. The others low depreciation is due either to fan appeal or to not enough produced.

This had me until he put Jeep on the list lol 😂 😂 keeps suck brand new I can’t imagine buying a used Jeep and dealing with the headache it causes you long term! Not a Jeep fan but at least with a new one your the first to drive it and break it

umm, you dont know what you are talking about, alot of these "facts" are Clearly not true example: 4:12, "The corvette has a mid engine" which is true for the 2020 models but not for the models on screen, this is just not accurate

    Damn . . . the vehicle I've been wanting is #1 and #2. Figures.

You said that you do not want to lease a Jeep? Why not? Being #1 & #2 should make it have very attractive lease options. I, myself, recently leased a Toyota Tacoma crew cab 2wd V6 SR5. $33k MSRP, $0 down, $299 per month (36 months) INCLUDING tax @ 12k miles per year. *Apples to apples comparison on payments with $0 down would have been over $500 per month for 72 months.

If they hold their value they make pretty bad leases. The opposite is true. It makes sense to lease a vehicle that loses a lot of value

I bought my Tacoma for 33k and sold it for 33k, making my monthly loss $0. If I leased, I would have lost the entire lease amount. That is the reason why a lease on a vehicle that holds value is a bad idea.

Apart from all Toyota models mentioned all the others are money pits in terms of maintenance so in the end they are not of such good value even with a hi resale value.

You think since Dodge is discontinuing it’s challenger I should hold onto my low mileage 2018 GT?

Most definitely. I work at a dodge dealership. Used dodges are going to skyrocket even more. They already are because of high fan based love and short supply.

That's exactly why I bought a camaro. It holds its value. Mine only lost $1000 in 5 years
