    With Evoque , buy used , you get a 7 year , 100,000 mile warranty free from Land Rover . That's what I done today. 2020 with 7000 miles and $900 in upgrades . Practically a new car with twice the warranty. I got white with black roof.

      @EricFortuneJr. 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Careful, those warranties can sometimes be as worthless as the paper they’re printed on. I’ve seen so many issues with the Evoques even those purchased new. Flip side is you hopefully got it at a decent price.

    • @shaunbava1801
      @shaunbava1801 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@EricFortuneJr. LR Certified Warranty is actually pretty good, they will cover everything but you will have to be on top of the dealer. The dealers do not like to do warranty work(reimbursement is so low they do not make any money) so unless something is very broken they will not fix it, if you complain about something they will take care of it though. That used to be a good way to buy the cars but they are getting way too much for used rover's right now, they are a liability and should be regarded as such. New rovers seem to be worse than used, JLR has zero quality control so new cars come from the factory full of issues that need to be fixed by the dealer, by the time it has completed it's lease it is probably sorted.

    F-Pace suffers with leaks in the same way the XE and XF models do. Jaguar decided to make it harder to replace the pollen filter, meaning that garages found a workaround to change it, going in through the scuttle panel instead of just removing the glovebox. If not seated properly, the water runs down the windscreen, and into the pollen filter housing and into the car. Also, some gromets behind the front fenders shrink over time, and water gets in there too.

    Investigation for several rattles from pillar A and B
    Broken coolant system
    Failed diesel filter

      My 1998 Honda Accord with 200K is still running. All the Japanese factory built cars were terrific. But my 2014 Acura MDX (another Honda brand) which was built from Canada is breaking down a lot. Every year, I am spending thousands of dollars to fix that vehicle. Lesson I learned, do not buy even Japanese brands if they were built out of Japan.

      @@tifipaul5686 That is so true. I can feel your pain. Was yours also built in Canada? I have had all kinds of problems. I even had the plastic rim that surrounds the upper screen (there are two screens) fell apart while i was driving. That was the most awkward moment I had in 35 years of driving. It was so weird, I just laughed...

    Not sure you can include the Lincoln Corsair (and the 2020 Escape), as it's a new model launched in 2020, replacing the 2019 MKC. I worked in AWS and the in the first 6 months, TGW (Things gone wrong) for the Corsair was only .03 per 100 units. This is a class leading stat.

    • @Pro1er
      @Pro1er 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, I really doubt that the Corsair has many problems other than carbon build-up on the intake valves for the 2.0L and the PTU failing on the AWD, but the first problem is common to all non-hybrid GDI engines and the PTU is now serviceable with fluid replacement due to Ford going broke over warranty repairs on the older version.

      they're talking about AVERAGE and overall reliability , Key word is average..... of course there are gonna be a few good models of any car brand, not all of them can be completely horrible or else Land Rover would be outta business XD tbh, they were going to be until Tata bought em.
      Even the dodge dart has had satisfied customers and that car was horrible reliability wise on AVERAGE.
