I'm just now catching up on your videos, TH-cam doesn't show them in my feed apparently. That's such an amazing and beautiful bike. I remember when it first came out, I couldn't believe the numbers and performance BMW was claiming. Then all the user reviews started coming out and it was everything they said it would be. That was a good purchase man.
Passed my nothing to full license (UK) course Dec 30 2022 and just completed a year and 10k miles. First bike and wow what a beast. I managed 2 weeks in rain mode then a few months in sport then race mode ever since and I love it.
@@1stdagree946I did my tests on an MT07, this was waiting for me in the garage. It is a complete beast, you have to be deliberate and calculated in its use, it will kill you if you don’t know when to wind it on and when to back it off. If you have a decent level of maturity, good control and a strong sense of roadcraft you’ll be just fine.
@chalky042 thank you bro everyone says don't get it for your first but I just fell in love with everything about this bike and don't think I could settle on anything else I'm excited and won't do dumb shit until I'm confident and more experienced I just don't want to have to upgrade months later because I got bored of the 600s
@@1stdagree946 you’re very welcome bro, put it in rain mode for a few weeks, it will feel really fast but it’s just your body getting used to it. Do not run it in sport or race until you’re ready, you WILL hit the power band somewhere about 7-8k rpm, then you will find out what the fuck fast is, don’t go there unless you want to and it’s safe to do so. Make sure you make it home every time you climb on it bro, be safe and well.
Yo! i just bought a S1000rr 2010, is it easy to swap from gp to normal shift? It has a quickshifter, and one more question. Is it impossible to do a overwheelie, like crash in race mode? Thanks, good looking bike
I literally always use the quick shifter so I really don’t have any experience otherwise. And it’s always possible to crash but race mode will make it quite difficult to loop a wheelie.
@@TheBaitMaster420 Yeah all stock, new battery, air pressure good, and chain lubed, if they can't find anything, I'm gonna Dyno it and see what's the hp is
@allanphillips8 id start at the exup for diag. Excessive engine braking is a tough thing to guess though. It may just be that you’re not used to 12:1 comp on a 500 lb vehicle.
"Shouldn't be your first bike" me looking at my first bike being exactly this 👁👄👁

This was your first bike ? If so was it hard to learn on

Also ask yourself this,
Are my tyres warm?
Are my brakes warm?
If the answer is anything but yes, do not ride like a dickhead.
What exhaust system are you running?
The heat is quite crazy to as a con....but that will happen to any high HP bikes....
It runs a looooot cooler than most big dogs tbh. Just gotta run water plus water wetter and it’ll stay sub 200 all the time
👍👏👍
Get the suspension dialed in by a proper professional. The stock geometry is way off. Then you will have a true missile

Would you recommend this over Japanese 1000cc bikes?
100%
Do you know if you can add quickshifter down?
100%. Just need to use a piggy back like on any other bike.
Do you notice aggressive engine braking, on the freeway, when you let off on the throttle, in 6 gear, in race mode?
Not at all
@@TheBaitMaster420 okay, I'm gonna get mine looked at, not sure what's causing it, just started noticing it as of lately
@allanphillips8 yeah idk what would cause that. Is the bike stock?

What modes you using?
Pretty much always race or slick
@@TheBaitMaster420 I love the throttle response on slick but the rear brake looks like if you do hard brake can be locked up
