According to the game logic a monster without soul, can only communicate with sutile signs, like music, or messages coming for other monsters little anomalies can even bring back the monster but just like a "ghost presence". Because in fact the monster is erased from the game, and only the other ones, who are in-game can only mentioned him, even this one is limitated, because ¿how can we know what monsters know him? And actually nobody (in the game) can't live for long time without a soul, the dust process will kill him, soon or late, just like happened to Undyne in the neutral rute. "Chara" didn't do that and directly talk to the player with text messages, just like himself, but at the same time like other person. Frisk in fact is the best character not only he is open of every ending, also because than he/she is a psychopath, and Sans/Flowey (the sociopaths: one damaged by the complete conscious than his own life it's just a game, and the other for lonliness) knows it, they are completely conscious about everything and that makes him so interesting, but at the same time makes his existance so painful, because you never know what cards the psycho will play. And no, the psycho are not the player, he just follow his own pleasure by the fact than it's just a game, but the one than he controls, pulls the knife.

In general, there are many underestimated moments in the genocide. Especially the moment when Flowey is literally disappointed in you and in his previous worldview, realizing that in a world where it is kill or be killed, you yourself will eventually be killed simply because you are not omnipotent.
I've gotta say... THIS is the best and most convincing fanmade "battle" I've seen yet. Forget Alphys Neo and Disbelief Papyrus, I can actually see this being in the game. In fact, this SHOULD'VE been in the game. Top notch. Well done.

"This human..." "Mom and Dad" "Me..." This is my favorite part of the fight, because Asriel is basically saying that Chara manipulated frisk, toriel, asgore, and asriel into what they wanted all the time, and didn't do anything in return.
I disagree with the way you approached Flowey as a character. It's like you tried to make Flowey act as Asriel. Flowey understands Chara. Understands why he's doing what he's doing. Understand the thrill, the joy; the desire to kill everyone for the hell of it. Flowey doesn't really care about them anymore, but will be terrified out of their mind at the prospect of fighting Chara. Everything Flowey does should be out of desperation. Remember: Flowey cares only about his survival at this point. He'll desperately try to come up with anything to say in order to get Chara to drop his weapon. As statement after neither statement nor attack works, Flowey will become more frantic as desperation sets deeper and deeper in, causing more attacks to be thrown and more desperate measures to be used. When you have an opponent that dodges like Sans at this point, you've still got to show their fear of Chara's attack. Otherwise, it'll just feel like you're doing nothing at all.
Kyle Hart Flowey doesn't understand anything about Chara. It has nothing to do with killing or enjoying killing. "He's in my way". This is about EXP. The player plays the genocide rout to experience the whole game. The player isn't content with just pacifist and neutral endings, they want to see it all. From the npc's point of view, yes you seem like a murdering psychopath. But its not really about that. It's just for the EXP of the whole game.
Ummm Flowey can’t “enjoy” the thrill of killing if he doesn’t have a soul, he only killed to see what would happen if he did he’s an experimenter not a murderer, well kinda but not. I think to many people associate flowey as a heartless killer who only knows how to kill, but flowey did do the pacifist route or as much of a pacifist as he can accomplish. It’s only then when he got bored of doing it he stopped and started killing, plus another thing so many people think charas also a heartless killer as well but really they are a corrupted soul reincarnated by the player. She isnt evil she’s just more or less corrupted. Finally I don’t get your last statement when you said you’ve still got to show their fear of charas attack First I’m confused on why you said the human was chara it was already proven in the game that frisk was just called Chara and chara confirms that they aren’t the ones killing everybody And what do you mean by fear? This fight is quite dated nowadays, but I do like one specific part about it. It's the part about Flowey actually realizing how much of a pedestal they put Chara on, and then realizing that they never actually did anything back in return for Flowey even though he did so much for them. It's a pretty unique concept for Flowey/Asriel for creating a personal drama with Chara, but unfortunately it's not very well executed here with the rest of the writing that just makes Flowey a self proclaimed hypocrite and makes Chara seem to just hate Flowey for no apparent reason, while also heavily implying chara is evil and shit, typical fanon stuff. The fight it's self also isn't very engaging even though there's a couple attacks I like. It doesn't have to be anywhere near Sans or Undying's level, but at least show Flowey is putting in more effort (Even though realistically he should be able to kill the Human quickly). The intro also probably could be more shortened, having more dialogue grouped together so the pacing is quicker. I wouldn't mind seeing a remake of this fight later on.

Why is flowey suddenly trying to call chara out for their crimes yet they've done the same thing countless times and over and over in every possible way? they're not the good guy, neither of them.
Plus flowey did all this like the player, he decided to play god and toy with everyone's lives for his own amusement and curiosity. He's literally said he's killed everyone in every possible way there is. and several times over, constantly, let that sink in.
I love how Final is playing during this, not Your Best Nightmare or Your Best Friend, cause this shows that Asriel/Flowey is trying to protect everyone
I keep coming back to this video.I only figured out why today: because it manages to convey so many different emotions in Flowey. First he is pleading, then he is reminiscing, then he is angry, then he is triumphant, then he manages a piece of humour, then he is pleading again. All that without, in my opinion, breaking character.
The real finale. So much dust and pain, even someone who used to be just like you, has came to stop you. This is the moment where the Hero has become the villain and the villain has become a hero. I wish this was in the original UT.

The intro is way to long for this fight. Seems kinda tedious and boring just attacking after some dialogue. At least with Sans you had to dodge and stuff.

Flowey used to be able to reset until frisk fell down the underground and he has 4th wall awareness , exploiting the games mechanics He also never lets you have your turn so you cant attack him and can manipulative vines. He also killed everyone in the underground multiple times and you dont kill asgore, undyne, sans and mettaton by being weak.

In general, there are many underestimated moments in the genocide. Especially the moment when Flowey is literally disappointed in you and in his previous worldview, realizing that in a world where it is kill or be killed, you yourself will eventually be killed simply because you are not omnipotent.

This is my favorite part of the fight, because Asriel is basically saying that Chara manipulated frisk, toriel, asgore, and asriel into what they wanted all the time, and didn't do anything in return.

I disagree with the way you approached Flowey as a character. It's like you tried to make Flowey act as Asriel.
Flowey understands Chara. Understands why he's doing what he's doing. Understand the thrill, the joy; the desire to kill everyone for the hell of it. Flowey doesn't really care about them anymore, but will be terrified out of their mind at the prospect of fighting Chara. Everything Flowey does should be out of desperation. Remember: Flowey cares only about his survival at this point. He'll desperately try to come up with anything to say in order to get Chara to drop his weapon. As statement after neither statement nor attack works, Flowey will become more frantic as desperation sets deeper and deeper in, causing more attacks to be thrown and more desperate measures to be used.
When you have an opponent that dodges like Sans at this point, you've still got to show their fear of Chara's attack. Otherwise, it'll just feel like you're doing nothing at all.
Kyle Hart Flowey doesn't understand anything about Chara. It has nothing to do with killing or enjoying killing. "He's in my way". This is about EXP. The player plays the genocide rout to experience the whole game. The player isn't content with just pacifist and neutral endings, they want to see it all.
From the npc's point of view, yes you seem like a murdering psychopath. But its not really about that. It's just for the EXP of the whole game.
Ummm Flowey can’t “enjoy” the thrill of killing if he doesn’t have a soul, he only killed to see what would happen if he did he’s an experimenter not a murderer, well kinda but not. I think to many people associate flowey as a heartless killer who only knows how to kill, but flowey did do the pacifist route or as much of a pacifist as he can accomplish. It’s only then when he got bored of doing it he stopped and started killing, plus another thing so many people think charas also a heartless killer as well but really they are a corrupted soul reincarnated by the player. She isnt evil she’s just more or less corrupted.
Finally I don’t get your last statement when you said you’ve still got to show their fear of charas attack

I kind of wish this was the official ending to undertale but you couldn't win.
This fight is quite dated nowadays, but I do like one specific part about it. It's the part about Flowey actually realizing how much of a pedestal they put Chara on, and then realizing that they never actually did anything back in return for Flowey even though he did so much for them. It's a pretty unique concept for Flowey/Asriel for creating a personal drama with Chara, but unfortunately it's not very well executed here with the rest of the writing that just makes Flowey a self proclaimed hypocrite and makes Chara seem to just hate Flowey for no apparent reason, while also heavily implying chara is evil and shit, typical fanon stuff.
The fight it's self also isn't very engaging even though there's a couple attacks I like. It doesn't have to be anywhere near Sans or Undying's level, but at least show Flowey is putting in more effort (Even though realistically he should be able to kill the Human quickly). The intro also probably could be more shortened, having more dialogue grouped together so the pacing is quicker.
I wouldn't mind seeing a remake of this fight later on.

Flowey used to be able to reset until frisk fell down the underground and he has 4th wall awareness , exploiting the games mechanics He also never lets you have your turn so you cant attack him and can manipulative vines. He also killed everyone in the underground multiple times and you dont kill asgore, undyne, sans and mettaton by being weak.
