So, it's finally done. Most of bosses took only a few tries, I spent some more time on Undyne (both) and Asgore. Sans took a few hours, Flowey took a few more and was mostly harder than Sans because of the RNG (or more luck based as well I guess?). I also had massive input lag originally in Flowey, which I fixed later on, so perhaps it would be a bit less without that. But by far the worst was Asriel which took more time than all of them combined, all because of the second phase, the pre-final attack specifically. I also like how half the video are the hardest three bosses, because they are so long. Asriel, specifically, is over 10 minutes long.
I think it was overall enjoyable, although the RNG on Flowey and Asriel especially was brutal. I've been wanting to do this for a while now, ever since I did Deltarune all bosses no hit. Now it's finally done.
I do have some information about specific bosses, but if you want that, I would suggest checking out my other Undertale videos as those have more detailed information for the harder bosses. Can't really fit it all in the description here.

Undertale is a role-playing video game created by American indie developer Toby Fox. The player controls a child who has fallen into the Underground: a large, secluded region under the surface of the Earth, separated by a magic barrier. The player meets various monsters during the journey back to the surface. Some monsters might engage the player in a fight. The combat system involves the player navigating through mini-bullet hell attacks by the opponent. They can opt to pacify or subdue monsters in order to spare them instead of killing them. These choices affect the game, with the dialogue, characters, and story changing based on outcomes.

No-hitting Toriel is a lot more impressive than people realize. Her attacks are actually challenging, and the only reason this fight is normally easy is that she stops attacking you once you get to low HP, but that doesn't happen when you're no-hitting.

I think the order here is interesting. In a normal run, most people would agree that Sans is the hardest. Since not only are his attacks difficult, they also deal tremendous damage. But the difference in a No-Hit isn't damage. Because Flowey and Asriel both give you plenty of ways to survive and Sans doesn't. But Flowey and Asriel weren't necessarily intended to be dodged completely, because of those safety nets. A great accomplishment, to be sure.
Thanks. That's definitely the part most people are confused by, yes. Sans wasn't too difficult at the time compared to some of the other no hits I've done (in Undertale and in other games), while Flowey was pretty fun as a bullet hell player and not too bad either, although definitely harder than Sans. Asriel however is completely luck based, having an almost impossible attack near the end of a 10 minute long fight that takes place after a lot of cutscenes. My least favorite boss when it comes to no hitting this game, and one of the more BS ones I've done in general.
In reality, once you memorize his attack patterns, sans is mostly easy to no hit because unlike everyone else most of his attacks are scripted

What I have to say about the bosses:
Toriel: Decent challenge. Not too hard.
Mad Dummy: This madlad wasn't too difficult either. I'd say he's the most comical boss of the game because of how you redirect his attacks towards him. The missiles were pretty creative too. I did accidentally get hit by his knife though.
Muffet: This creepy spider lady is another creative boss with all the flying croissants and doughnuts. Her "pet" can get intense at times as well.
Mettaton EX: Inside the glamorous body is a very powerful boss. I died frequently to the showbiz automaton. I'm wondering why those Bombs weren't used in the Hotland puzzles.
Papyrus: His soul mode is my favourite so far because I love platform games. Moving the joystick up to jump does take a little getting used to. But this cheeky little boss doesn't kill you, he just takes you inside his doghouse. Very fun to do once you get a hang of his controls.
Undyne: Ooooh... this fierce fish lady will not hesitate to kill you. And she did! Many times! Her soul model's hectic but that's what I liked about her. Very hard boss indeed.
Undyne the Undying: I didn't do the genocide run so I don't have an opinion on this boss.
Asgore: I didn't expect to beat the King of the Monsters first try. But that's exactly what happened! Maybe that's because his attacks are easy. Just about as hard as Toriel.
Sans: Again. Didn't do the Genocide run.
Omega Flowey: In the bits I expected to die during I still somehow survived. It's only when Flowey lets his guard down where I perished. It's an incredibly hard fight that I did *NOT* die in. Well, not really but you know what I mean.
Asriel: Appropriate for being called the Absolute God Of Hyperdeath, the goat demon is one whopper of a final boss. Especially with 20 HP. Not to mention that I absolutely suck at Chaos Sabre. Other than that, a wonderful "True" ending nonetheless.
The CREDITS: Didn't try and won't even try.
Please note that I played the Nintendo Switch version of Undertale.

Well sans is basically death first his telekinesis and bone gives you like 0.1 secs to move and his blasters are insane they do so much damage and are hard to avoid and the speed of sans attacks are insane. Plus you can't hit him for a long time. Also you have to deal with the colored attacked with very little time. That my opinion. also I forgot to explain the variety of his attacks and weirdness they are literally random.
About sans and undyne the undying. I went into genocide thinking it’d be a fun experience. Those two fights are. Hard is an understatement. Sans is borderline impossible. Undyne took me four hours of constant attempts to beat. And I still haven’t beat sans

Thanks. And yeah, Asriel was much harder than the rest, which is why I put him at the end. If you need some help with Undyne, I have a dodging guide:
Usually I analyze the boss and the patterns first. If they're static, I mostly just memorize the most consistent route. Manipulation based attacks are the same, although usually a bit more precise as they depend on your movement. Random attacks are the hardest, and it takes practice over time to get the reading skill required to do them. If I find the boss to not be that difficult, I just start with the attempts immediately and it usually doesn't take long. For the more difficult bosses, I practice every single individual attack first. Bullet hell bosses tend to have a lot more RNG than most other bosses, so it requires a set of skills that will take a lot longer to get better with than a boss that doesn't have any randomness. If a boss has a hard phase or something like that, I usually find a way of skipping to it immediately, and then just practice dodging it. I also experiment with different gear and strategies a lot for the harder bosses in if one thing isn't working, and even in Touhou, changing shot types can make a huge difference.
Regarding random attacks specifically, as these are the hardest and most diverse in how you deal with them. Different patterns will require different reading windows. For example, for an attack that's very fast but less dense, your eyes should be focused more on the projectiles further away from you, to give you more time to react. For an attack that's slow and dense, focusing on the area around your character is better as it allows for more precise dodging. Peripheral vision is very important for a lot attacks as well, and having a good "sense" of where your character and the bullets are even when you can't see them. Every random attack is different, and can require a different way of reading it so you can react as optimally as is possible. Reaction time does help with very fast attacks, although it's much less important than people think it is. Optimally reading the attack is the first and most important thing for any random attack. You can definitely improve your reaction time as well, but that is a more complex topic that I won't be discussing here.
For manipulation based attacks, since they're aimed at you, around you, or at something else, you can experiment with your movement to find the best way of making it as harmless as possible. In the Touhou community and shmup community in general, a lot of the time this is known as "streaming".
Movement control is also very important, but this depends on the game you are playing. Terraria movement for example, is completely different from Touhou, and that is completely different from some other game etc... Mastering the movement helps a lot. Precision platformers can help with this in general for any game, as you get used to thinking in "frames", and not seconds. Things like 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 etc... frame inputs might only be a few milliseconds long, but with enough practice and the right keyboard, are very doable. Usually bullet hells and other games do not require such precision, but I think it speeds up the learning process for those games as well.
Being focused and having fun is another I'd say is very important. The more frustrated you are, the longer it's going to take. And not being focused is fine if the fight isn't hard enough for your own skill level, but if it is, then not being distracted can help a lot as well.
There's definitely a lot more I could say about this, but I think that's enough for the basics. Good luck.

That moment during the Photoshop Flowey fight where the music goes fucking insane really gets me hard, because not only is both the music and the fight completely epic, but in my particular case, I had already lost 3 or 4 times before getting to that point, and it's a really long fight so I was kinda pissed already. Finally getting close to the end of the fight, only to hear the music exploding while the battle got even harder really kicks your adrenaline levels to the sky. It's one of those "I'm not gonna lose here!" moments (btw, I did lose)
I never did genocide run, but I battled Sans in a battle simulator I found online. The fight seemed to be exactly the same, but I keep doubting it actually worked just like the game did because I beat him first try, and then the very same day I managed to beat him without healing items, and then without getting hit at all the next day. It's not easy at all, but it's the kind of boss that gets easier the more you learn its attack patterns, unlike Flowey, who's a piece of shit and will throw random bullshit at you at 300% speed
Well floweys (omega) attacks can be dodged pretty easily when you get good at the battle, they all have a pretty easy to follow pattern, it just requires a bit of practice.

Undertale is one of my better accomplishments, it turned out to be a lot harder than I thought it would be because of Asriel's second phase (specifically one attack that's almost always nigh impossible RNG).

@@i_saidmeow2469 Since when is RNG impossible? Most of phase 2 isn't even that bad anyway. There's only one attack that's actually BS, and it's the next to last one in a 9 minute fight, which makes it by far the hardest boss to no hit. I'm not the only to have done Phase 2 either, Eenox and Chris Lee did it as well.

If you think about it, Sans really does have 1ATK and 1DEF. It's just that he uses very, VERY low invincibility frames (which is why it does so much) and that he just keeps dodging.

Thanks. And that's fine, Asriel's second phase and that one attack in particular takes a lot of luck and skill, so I don't blame him for not doing it. It's definitely by far the hardest boss to no hit. If you don't get lucky or test that one attack quite a few times, you probably wouldn't think it's even possible.

Hey, you shouldn't compare yourself with me. Be proud of your own accomplishments, whatever they may be. I usually say that practice and the right mindset is what it takes, but over time you also start just "knowing" how to do/approach challenges in games, or real life as well. What this means is that eventually, even something that you've never practiced before will be much easier, because of your previous experience. So don't worry, you'd be surprised at what you can get used to.

Since I was at mid age, I've always dreamed of fighting (not really) Asriel Dreemurr in the game, I kept trying over and over again, and. One day i finally got to fight(act) on him I also got the credits, special thanks which made myself proud of myself
I always come back to this to remind myself just how terrible I really am at this game
You shouldn't compare yourself with others. Be proud of your own accomplishments, whatever they may be. And I'd say that with practice and the right mindset, there's nothing you can't accomplish. If being good at games is truly your dream, then why not try, right?
@@Ythundyth lol yeah I feel that, appreciate the encouragement and what made me feel that way is that I legit thought that flowey battle was unbeatable and I feel so bad at the game for restarting and this vid made me realize that it was possible to win 😭😭😭

Funnily enough, I did Sans after Asriel and Flowey, and it wasn't as hard or luck dependent. Kind of a break after those two, which I find a bit ironic considering that under normal circumstances, Sans would be the hardest and the other two are basically the easiest.

@@i_saidmeow2469 Just practice and the right mindset (you could call it determination ironically enough). It's mostly one attack that's the problem, as it's incredibly RNG dependent.

Rewatching the asriel fight makes me think Deltarune is just what happens when he won and reset everything. Maybe that’s why Kris refuses to acknowledge the power they feel at save points as “determination”?

Thanks, this was something I wanted to do for a while after I did Deltarune Chapter 1. It was pretty good, although some of the RNG on Flowey and Asriel's pre-final attack was pretty brutal.

If you get into the game files you can change your level to 0 wich makes your health 16 you can also make it so the armor you wear decreases you defense for example -99999 defense instant death when hit

For Photoshop Flowey, I have multiple questions.
What route unlocks the bossfight?
Did you (video creator) pay attention to the “File 1 Saved/ File 1 Loaded” message in the corner when you battled Flowey? Whether you did or didn’t, that’s amazing.
Why does it make those groaning sounds when you hit it? I mean sure, being slashed by a knife would probably hurt pretty bad, but why the heck those sounds in particular?
Is it made of organic things other than plant matter? I swear the pulsing gray things are something living.
