As a sixth-grader in 1995, I can safely say that every boy I knew would have loved that boogerman game. I think it would stand up very well to modern ten year olds and the art style hasn't dated nearly as much as the digitised motion-capture used in the Michael Jordan game.
LSD Dream Emulator has to be my favorite weird game, Its a fun one to play with some friends while kicking back some beers. That's one thing I miss about 90's gaming, devs were more willing to experiment and take a chance on a nutty idea.
Motoko-chan no Wonder Kitchen - This is a point and click game which serves as an advertisement for mayonnaise. I played it a lot as a kid, very weird game. But it was fascinating! Also, you get to spread as much mayonnaise as you want on the food you cook. 😂
I thought why Parodius wasn’t released in North America because Konami said “F*** you North Americans! No Parodius for you!”. I can take Japanese weirdness falling into the funny side but western weirdness goes way too far for my liking and don’t get me started on the disturbing stuff.
I think Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest is pretty weird for the thought process behind it. Square thought the reason jrpgs weren't mainstream in America because Americans were too stupid to figure out how to play them. So they made baby's first jrpg to teach dumb Americans, holding their hands during the entire game, how to play jrpgs. Funnily enough, jrpgs became mainstream in the west the next generation without any dumbing down or handholding.
I was 9 when Mystic Quest came out, so I had already cut my teeth on Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II(IV), but I still hold Mystic Quest as one of my favorite FF games(4, 9, 6, MQ, 9). Haters always quote it as "baby's first JRPG", but it was still an enjoyable game.
A cool thing about Shaq-Fu was around that same time, Shaquille Oneil released a music album also called Shaq-Fu.
Pretty cool guy!

The problem with it is that it kinda sucks to play.

Normally, I complain about microphone quality, but your channels contents good enough I let it slide
Top quality gaming content right now, featuring games most probably didn't play at the time
Genesis needs this treatment: Haunting, Comix Zone, Dynamite Heddy, Gunstar…..
Decap Attack
Parodius(which BTW, you misspelled in your chapters) is a fine game, that spawned a franchise of games of varying quality.

When the Ken Griffey games were released, Nintendo of America owned the Seattle Mariners.
