This was the best animated movie I've seen since Into the Spider-verse. I'm not surprised this was made by the same people. I love Pixar but every other animation studio tries so hard to emulate them. The makers of Into the Spider-verse and The Mitchell's went their own route and the results are outstanding. I truly hope they're able to establish themselves as an animation studio powerhouse. I can't wait to see what they do next.
You missed something, in the flaw part, you can see the mom has "secret anger issues" This is forshadowing to the part where she goes total SAVAGE mode on those robots.

Same here! I did see the pride badge, but never put much into it besides that Katie just being okay with that lifestyle or as a cheap “diversity” plug for the PR department. Katie is the only one of the family that doesn’t have crush or partner throughout, so saying that Jade was her online girlfriend rather than just one of her future college classmates is a very subtle insider reference to her character.
What a phenomenal film in all respects, and all these little touches & easter eggs just make me appreciate it all the more. What a lovingly crafted masterpiece, brimming with vivacity, personality, originality, detail, references, humor, heart, emotion, relatability, and visual flair. This movie is so incredible, it actually surpasses Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse in many ways, which I didn't even think was possible. Off I go to likewise re-watch this absolute gem half a dozen times.
