The reason why you have to plug in the key phone for it to start is because when u plug it in the car actually charges the key phones battery so it doesn't have to be replaced.
The lack of options is what I love about the 3 Series. What counts is that silky smooth I6 motor, taut suspension and solid body. Navi, automatic this and that doesn't make a car good, it's the build integrity that makes it good.
your forgetting the car is from 2006, lmao back then that definitely was an intelligent key. times were different cars sometimes didnt even come with an aux input in 2006.
just do it. I promise you wont regret it, youll find out all the good stuff once you do. And keep looking around youtube at videos, it gives you a lot of information.
***** Yes OK we have a lot of Fords in the UK but Great Britain manufactures them, we don't import cars from the states. It's rare to find an imported American car in the UK.
No chrome strip around the windows actually looks kind of nice. I like how blacked-out it all is. Also, I agree without about the new 2012. Looks SO NICE.
Just got this as my first car for Christmas, but I have the fully loaded and black interior. Spend the extra $3,000 for the iDrive function it's worth it.
he doesn't know any of the features at all, and he's testing the base of the base to the bare bones base model. One that a person desperate to buy a BMW new would get just because it's BMW, and probably the cheapest on the lot. If it had options, it would have the xenons or what he calls hids, sport package, which would defeat his complaint of needing a thicker steering wheel, premium package, for power seats, and last but not least, comfort access to have that "smart key"
If you get the sport package the steering wheel is much thicker/nicer and looks different. Second in that year the car did have the Harman Kardon system it’s just unlabelled.
Funny you mention about the european cars being "confusing". I guess that's where I was spoiled, my first car was a late 80's BMW, then I went to a Saab, Volvo and then BMW again... finally now to my current car which is an 8th Gen Civic and for a while I kept thinking how it's such a simple car. I think after years of having to explain to everyone where things are in my car to now having a car where everything is where you expect it to be even with your eyes closed. I'm beside myself.
The 3-series are such fantastic cars, I especially like this E90 generation. I am a disappointed by the lack of features as well. The lack of NAV/ I-drive makes that interior center stack look pretty dated. Atleast the way the car feels and drives does redeem it from those short comings
The only bmw i would take used was the 2002-2005 330ci, 330i, and 325i with sport package. The 2011 328i looked too basic, the 2012 looks sportier, BUT there is a shitload of confusing trim levels. Why dont they stick with 28i and 35i. The 2006-2011 328i just didnt seem to be worth the price. It looked too basic for $39k. For me, interior touch material doesnt need to be great. As long as it has good build quality. good video
Yeah that's true I was watching a video a couple of weeks ago on a European C Class wagon that had hub caps. Also you will see cars like Audi's with power windows up front and manual in the back and stuff like that over there. But with BMW and Mercedes real leather is optional over here on lower models but a least you don't get cloth like in Europe.
idk if i can ever grow fond of a turbo 4 on the new bimmer.just because its a 4 banger idk mind over mater maybe i just prefer knowing i have a i- 6 cylinder engine pulling such a sporty car and i love that "FULL hormany" sound that it makes
there are lines on the tachometer that come out of the red line location that move down when the engine warms up. thats the temp gauge in those Bimmers
What the heck are you talking about? My friend's E36 325i has 216k on it and still runs great. It's been cared for and 3 series in general don't break much with the exception of the N54 on the 335i.
I drove on eof these, and once I realized it was difficult to turn with one hand and listened to the tire roar, I decided it was definitaely not for me. However, I did drive an 05 330Ci with the SMG and i fell in love with it, but my dad HATED it. I wish I could have bought it, but it had some issues, lots of tire roar, and was already at the top of my budget. And insurance would have killed me on it.
The 6-pot engine and suspension on the e90 are reliable. No worries. Unless of course you happen to get one that's been trashed by a stupid previous owner.
I want this car for my first car! I'm not very educated on cars, other than miles and titles. Good pick or no? I'd be buying it with 90k miles for $10.500
+TheMisterTroll02 Yup. Insurance will cost you more in the long run. For a first car. I would recommend a 2007 g35s(10k-15k). Closest thing you're going to get to a BMW/Benz/Audi without the risk.
the steering is heavy cause they are built for german highways. Were u can go up to whatever your car can go, so the steering is heavy for high speed control ;)
What is that whining noise you could hear when he did light acceleration? You could here it on the acceleration run he did before the engine roar came in.
I Am planning to purchase 2006 bmw 325i which has 91,967 Miles and price $9998 one year dealers warranty mint conditions. Is it going to be a good buy? Please help thank you.
Syed Alam If it come with clean title, very good deal! I bought a 2006 325i last month, 85000miles for $11000, dealer offers a power train warranty until 100k mile. The previous owner take care the car very much. So make sure check the carfax record, especially the maintains and oil change frequency. Now, I love to drive my 325i daily, very fun!!!
In Europe, a lot of BMWs and Mercedes-Benzes actually have more basic cloth interiors with manual transmissions, unlike here in the US where they're all leather and mostly auto (at least MB). There are more loaded ones of course along with your AMGs and Ms but then there are also smaller engines, just look up the Mercedes-Benz S250; its a 4-banger S-class, unheard of to see here where we have V8 C-CLASS AMGs! They have them in Europe too of course, but a 4-banger S-class?? Thats an odd sight.
This is my problem with the BMWs.... you pay a lowish price compared to the competition, but then you boost it over with simple optons that the other come with standard..
It feels more sporty and balanced since it is RWD. I much prefer the Acura tho since Im a Honda person ;) but im talking about an 06 TSX. If i could choose between a 12 TSX or 328i, give me the bimmer any day lol
It's quite confusing, as they sometimes have different engines in the US compared do the rest of the world. But up till 2007 the 325 uses the N52B25 2,5l in the 325. From the facelift 2008 they have the N53B30-U0. The same engine but with a O0 in the end is used in the 330. I think it has variable intakes or somthing compared to the 325 engine. Search on BMW 3-series (E90) on wikipedia and you'll se a list of all engines if you scroll down a bit. As I said... It's not easy getting it right. :p
You are a car salesman? That's absolutely ridiculous. I am absolutely sure that is the ONE job that's just really not for you brother. Try anything else, ANYTHING. I'm sure you'll do it better
lol u are not a very good salesman especially if you say I definitely wouldn't want to buy a used one in the same video that you are trying to sell one.
Thinking about getting one not shure if to get one that has 47k and its $14,000 or one that has 74k for $13,000 but it has i-drive.......which one is more recommended

My 325i has everything except the navigation. My engine is a 3.0L V6!
Comfort access is awesome!!
Its i6 not v6
@@jabbarshoro thank you SMH 😂
Getting my dad's '06 325i in a few months when I turn 16. Only 58k miles, pretty good deal.
How’d you like it?
This guy is so nitpicky. Over and over, all I hear is, "the one thing I don't like about BMWs is..."
would you buy a used BMW and if yes or no why?
+Miguel Cruz i would, it's reliable as fuck.
he's bashing all over this beamer when he drives a fit... makes sense. its a review dude not your opinion.
Great car , planning on getting one in a couple of weeks ..
Bought one yesterday drove it to Sam's club and it was awsome. Its my first ever car.
your forgetting the car is from 2006, lmao back then that definitely was an intelligent key. times were different cars sometimes didnt even come with an aux input in 2006.
This guy sounds like he’s moving out of his parents house until he’s 40
This car is not about volume level or cup holders... THIS CAR IS FOR DRIVING AND PLASURE. START READING ABOUT BMW HISTORY BEFORE BUIYING ONE.
just do it. I promise you wont regret it, youll find out all the good stuff once you do. And keep looking around youtube at videos, it gives you a lot of information.
The realtime mpg gauge is basically useless but the average mpg display in the middle is much more accurate
Why didn't you just name the video "what i dont like about bmws" ?
An American criticising a German car, the irony! Very very few people in Germany, Europe or the UK would dare touch an American car.
Dude are you fucking kidding me?
At the end of March 2014, the most common car in Great Britain was the Ford Focus (1.5 million)
***** Yes OK we have a lot of Fords in the UK but Great Britain manufactures them, we don't import cars from the states. It's rare to find an imported American car in the UK.
*****
We recently lost Saab and Suzuki in North America. And many trims are exclusive for Europe. The newly redesigned Passat, we don't have it!
Just bought this car today. I wanted the manual version though, just feels right. Car drives/sounds like a dream.
The shifting makes more sense this way. During acceleration you are pushed back into the seat and you shift back, and vice versa.
No chrome strip around the windows actually looks kind of nice. I like how blacked-out it all is. Also, I agree without about the new 2012. Looks SO NICE.
My 06 has powered seats and navigation
Lol I died when you said you drive a fit??? I've never seen a dude driving one XDDDDD
Not exactly a risk - taker said his Momma....
The fuel system on the N53 (in newer 325 and 330 models) isn't exacly gods gift to reliable engineering ;)
Just got this as my first car for Christmas, but I have the fully loaded and black interior. Spend the extra $3,000 for the iDrive function it's worth it.
Why did he call this a "Review" he should have called it "Extended Complaining"

this one was surprisingly low on tech tho, you def would have liked how it drove, very sporty yet refined :)
Why complain about the manual seat so much? I couldn't tell you last time I changed mine
oh jeez that key was indeed confusing you just had to put it in THE FUCKING KEY HOLE
He sounds like hes wearing loafers
good review.. Covered alot we'd need to know
I LOVE those "cheap" cup holders...
If you think those cup holders are cheap... Try getting a cup of any kind in a e39, you won't

i wonder how accurate the MPG Gauge is....either way in that spot i would much rather have a temp gauge.
what does that have to do with it? I drive and review soo many cars nowadays
nope, double check it, all of them have a 3.0L I6

how much it costs at this time?
