    The problem that Jeep has is catering to "whales" and the yuppie crowd. It's an off road vehicle, it doesn't need the amount of electronics, a 15" ultra wide-screen radio receiver, Computerized this and that. Focus on making decent gear ratios standard, a dependable inline 6 engine, more functional interior, etc. Make Jeeps fun again.

      I love it brother, absolutely love it. If they want to make a "frills" package, then make a special edition(s) and go with that. But 75% of Wrangler buyers want what you described. Glad to see you subscribed and are in the comments brother, look forward to future discussions with you.

      I agree that they are trying to be a luxury car, even though they are not that type of brand. With that said, though, while my original Jeep many years ago (99 TJ) had no frills, I do want the electronics and comfort in my Jeeps nowadays as I’ve grown older. So, I have no problem with having those items, but they should be add-on packages, and not the norm. We need to at least have a small, inexpensive Jeep in the line-up with a focus on off-roading to attract the younger generation. Of course, even with the comforts intact, the focus on off-roading should always be the #1 priority. Putting the Jeep name on anything that doesn’t focus on that is an abomination.

      @@bossgeekknight you absolutely nailed it sir. I can’t disagree with a single thing here. I know jeep was working on a Jeep “shortcut”, which was supposed to be a “cheap Jeep” that focused on the simplicity of Jeep and keeping the frills out of it. But the issue I see is safety and manufacturing regulations…which would drive the price up…but that’s a whole other set of issues. I do like the luxury features in my JL and it’s just a sport, but they make it nice. I do highly dislike the radio system in it…absolute garbage tbh…thanks again for your support 🫡

      @@bossgeekknightLook at the 90's. Jeep made some cheap capable vehicles (for ex. the xj), and then you had the Grand Cherokee and the Grand Wagoneer before that, which were pretty luxurious for their time.
      Jeep has always had some pricey vehicles, especially compared to all the stationwagons people were driving before, but they also had a bare bones jeep, that was a lot more attainable. Safety regulations have brought the prices up, but if a $30k simple, well built jeep came out, it would sell like hot cakes.

      exact reason why im selling my TJ (which is a great jeep, the last true jeep) with the computer controlled and EFI run 4.0 and buying a '72 CJ with a chevy small block 350 swapped into it.

    I don't see Stelantis doing anything like a museum, they really don't get what they have with jeep. I own a 2 Wranglers (TJ and JLU) mainly because I went to the original camp jeep in 1996 (and again in 2000) with my brand new Grand Cherokee. We got to drive the as yet unreleased TJ over a planned course. What an amazing marketing event that was. For I think 50 bucks we got 3 days of trails, live entertainment and all kinds of additional things (fishing clinics, rock climbing courses etc.). One of the coolest things was having small groups meet with the jeep engineers to discuss what we like and don't like about current models. That jeep company is long gone.

    • @A-BombEnergy
      @A-BombEnergy  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Brother, that sounds like you had an amazing time at that event. I totally agree though, I don’t see them realizing what they got and building something as simple as a museum. They don’t get the tax write off, the revenue that would come from it, and the brand building. I feel like they know that Jeep is kind of popular and they are gonna milk it till it dies. Thanks for sharing that experience, maybe A-Bomb Energy Drink will do something similar 🇺🇸🫡

      When Chrysler was still Chrysler, they had the Walter p Chrysler museum but FCA got rid of that. That should pretty much tell you the attitude of the people running the company. Since it's not European we don't care.

    I know Ima bout two days late to responding to this vid but I'll still comment who cares. I really did like your video even though I'm not a jeep person, but I can feel your pain. my uncle had a 94 and they still have it. yes, it doesn't have its inline 6 and has been swapped for a 5.7 hemi that in 2013 they pulled out of a 05 charger. it's still kicking, and I go trail riding with them all the time. and they have described their issues to me, and I'll try my best to explain it here. n 02 before they did the engine swap, they needed the inline to get resleeved it had survived around 300k miles and was showing its age. they had taken it to the jeep dealer due to it being the closes thing to a mechanic shop they had with equipment to resleeve an engine. since they lived out in the Yander and had to drive bout 35 miles to even get to the outskirts of a city. once there the dealership denied them service due not to them not being able to resleeve the engine but because the jeep had multiple modifications to the engine and drive Trane. most notable is the billet head and big old cnc cam hooked to a to a flow master exhaust. and also, with it having a lift kit of about 4.5 inches. with 42-inch tires. it was the last time they would ever buy a jeep and also the last time they went to a jeep dealer to be exact keeping their little hemi jeep still and it looks nice. I wish there was an ability to post images onto TH-cam since words can't describe its beauty.
    anyways I can't wait for your video on fords since well I'm a ford guy. I got three of them an 87 with an old Winny an 08 with a 6.4 and an 88 with a 7.3. I hope ya don't mind me maybe being one of your bigger critics when it comes to that video when it comes out. (I gotta defend my babies lol) but I do understand fords done alot of shit Aswell so all I can say is I can't wait.
    all in all, ya got a good point that all American car companies are in a massive decline and are hurting really bad. though I do wanna make it a point that there's no one reason to all problems. and this is a prime example. and i can name a few from epa emission regulations being supper tough on the makers not allowing big engines to really exist within smaller chassis. safety regulations which play a small part forcing manufactures to make cars crumple zone bubbles to an ungodly extent. which is weird since I don't see alot of creators bring up that point alot either. to even as you pointed out a lack of drive to do better and so much more it's almost a laundry list. but I'm in the same boat as you I'm not like some who think we should destroy all cars and become fully walkable. or drive little cars that look like they took inspiration from a boy that lived inside a plastic bubble. nor should we drive down the i-5 in m1126 Stryker's to make sure everyone is safe. I want a middle ground and I know there's one we just gotta find it. so, keep up the good work and let's try to fix the issue's the past left on us.

      Hi sir, sorry it took so long to respond. I wanted to ensure I read everything and gave you a proper response because you deserve it. That Jeep that the dealer denied sounds awesome, I would love to see it and take a ride in it. I love it when people modify them and make them truly their own. I am also shocked (but not really) that they denied the service, at the end of the day, they are mechanics/technicians and they should be willing to work on the car. I have taken my Charger to BMW many times (years ago) to have them conduct basic repairs because the labor hours was the same and they treated me 1st class. Dodge did not.
      I am currently working on the Ford video, I am really hoping I can have it done in about 3ish weeks. Had to buy a new computer, my two editing computers are just so terrible now...I guess they are older though. But I just got it today and so the process shall begin tonight. Please be critical of that video, I like hearing feedback from you guys and since you have been in the Ford family for so long, I am sure you will have invaluable insight.
      As for your last point, there is SO many reasons why they are in this situation and honestly, if I brought up half of them, the video would be over an hour. Which who knows, maybe one day I will. And I would love to have a Stryker...could you imagine rolling down the road with that?! Or maybe the new JLTV, which is great off road but you can't see ANYTHING while driving it haha. Thanks for the comment and I look forward to seeing you in the comments my friend.

      @@A-BombEnergy oh I see no problem on the late response. it's only fair you respond late since I did as well so no hard feelings. Luckly, I don't have the issue of repairing my vehicles since I'm a firm believer in that if you want it you need to take care of it yourself but again that's just me. but yeah, I can't wait for that ford video to come out and when it does ill make sure to open the flood gates on the matter. also, if ya want some info to dig up on ford I suggest looking into their relationship with Navistar it is of some interest since ford got their name mostly from the mustang and the f series of trucks which the later obs's got a great name for itself with the 7.3 power stroke made by Navistar.

    I would love to see a Jeep Museum. I mean, the Jeep is basically the only vehicle that’s been around for this amount of time, essentially making their original line of vehicles from the start. I would definitely visit a Jeep Museum, but as you said, it wouldn’t fix all of Jeep’s problems. However, it would be a good way to support the community.

    • @A-BombEnergy
      @A-BombEnergy  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For sure man, it would honestly sell people on it more too. After visiting the BMW, Porsche, and Mercedes museum I knew from that moment on I was going to be buying a German car. The price they took was amazing. Jeep has such a loyal community too, it’s pretty impressive tbh. Thanks for commenting my friend, hope to see you in the next videos comments 🇺🇸💪🫡

    I have decided i will not buy a vehicle newer than 2010. My 98 cherokee is so fancy it has heated mirrors. Its got 250k on the clock and still going strong. Id love to see modern cars last that long, what with their 0-20 oils and such. For heavy duty stuff i have my 89 chevy. I dont need fancy electronics and the latest gadgets, i need reliability. Many modern cars have these stupid massive pillars such that you can no longer do a proper blind spot check. In my cherokee, i just use my eyeballs. Its the classic principle of keep it simple, stupid.

      @A-BombEnergy  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      First off, now I want Swedish fish candy or at least the energy drink…second that 98 Cherokee is awesome and I’m really happy you have a good vehicle there. And that Chevy is like my dream truck, my dad had one and I asked him “If you ever sell it, ask me first”. I deployed and while gone he sold it! Couldn’t believe it lol. You are right though, keeping things simple is what we need. Bad. Have you seen the newest video I posted? It’s on Ford, check out that controversial piece and let me know what you think. Look forward to hearing from you soon. -Brandon

After that, the Jeep video will come, and the hate comment cannon will be on full blast hahaha, let's just hope my bunker is fortified enough for that.
