good thing there's a video about this cuz the first time I used it I sprayed it directly on my face 😭
Thank you , this is very helpful! May God bless you! 💛💛
You are welcome!
Thanks you so much I just got aha/bha toner and same time I got ordinary retinoid and was confused about mixing them, u are my saver thanks u so much
Glad I could help!🥰
After applying the toner I usually wait 20mins before using my moisturizer. Now i know i can only wait for a minute.. 😊 Thank you!! 💕
Yes, so you can save some time! :)
I did it after 10 sec , i hope it doesnt go bad. I think i should have watched this video a bit earlier 😅

Hey Jose! :) For you too!
Hey Melissa, thanks for another useful video! Can I use this toner together with the whitehead power liquid? Thank you in advance!
Yes, that shouldn't be an issue. However, always adjust it to your needs. So means that if you do not tolerate it well for whatever reason, keep them separate 😉
@@MelissaVanDijkOfficial Thank you very much!
My current AM routine:
- Soon Jung face foam cleanser
- Pyunkal toner essence
- COSRX snail mucin
- Beauty of Jeoson glow serum
- Soon Jung 2x Barrier cream
My current PM routine:
- Etude foam cleanser
- AHA/BHA toner cosrx
- Hydraulic acid 1,5%
- Soon Jung 2x Barrier cream
I have very dry, textured skin. I wouldn’t say I experience acne, but i do have a lot of hormonal bumps and whiteheads on my face. Lastly i have very dull skin, with lots of hyperpigmentation.
I would like an even skintone. And for my face to be very hydrated and get the “glass skin” look.
Well, the "glass skin" look usually refers to skin that appears clear, smooth, and radiant and is achieved through a combination of skincare and makeup.
But for your skin condition, it may be best to incorporate retinol, retinal or retinoid, and give it time to work (several months).
My current AM routine:
- Soon Jung face foam cleanser
- Pyunkal toner essence
- COSRX snail mucin
- Beauty of Jeoson glow serum
- Soon Jung 2x Barrier cream
My current PM routine:
- Etude foam cleanser
- AHA/BHA toner cosrx
- Hydraulic acid 1,5%
- Soon Jung 2x Barrier cream
PM routine 2 (2-3 times a week)
Cleanser
Paula's Choice 0,3% Retinol + 2% Bakuchiol or Differin Gel or G&G Retinol 0,05%
(Moisturizer is just optional here, depending on how well you tolerate the retinol/retinal/retinoid)
But overall if you're trying to achieve a glass skin look, it's important to focus on using high-quality, gentle skincare products, protecting your skin from sun damage, and maintaining a healthy diet and lifestyle.

Hello! Nice video ❣️ I was wondering what does this ‘clarifying treatment’ is good for? I know it refers to blemishes but I wonder if it could work on red blemishes for hyperpigmentation post inflammatory ? 🤲
Well, it helps to gently loosen the dead skin cells from the skin surface which helps to reduce textured skin, blemishes and theoretically surface pigmentation. Still, it also depends on the % and pH of the exfoliant + how severe your pigmentation may be.
@@MelissaVanDijkOfficial thank you

Hey :) Yes, of course 😃

Yes, that's fine. I have a 'what to avoid' section in my video :)
Hi Melissa, can I use the AXIS-Y dark spot correcting glow serum (with 5% Niancinamide, squareness and Hippophae Rhamnoides fruit extract) after the Cosrx Clarifyng toner? I want to build a new skin care routine and currently my new routine is:
Oil cleanser
Normal everyday cleanser
Cosrx clarifying toner (PM Only)
AXIS-Y dark spot serum (AM Only)

But I do want to add in the AXIS-Y serum to my night time routine too, would that be ok?

Hey mellisa ❤❤ I hope you're doing well!! i'm actually looking for an exfoliating toner that is gentle enough on my sensitive skin and wanted to get your opinion I trust you so much ! I use the eucerin dermopure cleanser , cosrx snail mucin essence and cicaplast as a moisturizer at night and the same routine but with vit c from sesderma In the morning and I will incorporating retinol as well once summer comes to an end. thank you so much love!!
Hello again,
I think the COSRX AHA/BHA isn't bad, but in my opinion, the one from Beauty of Joseon is better. It is this one: th-cam.com/video/EbOKFnSUJxI/w-d-xo.html

hey Melissa! can i still use TO alpha arbutin after this toner and before TO niacinamide? thank you!
Yes, they do not conflict :)
Can I use a 5% niacinamide serum after using the CosRx AHA BHA toner? Thanks ❣️then can I apply any moisturizer after that?
Yes you can!
Hey Melissa, i'm new to skincare so i'm still learning about some ingredients. You said to not mix the AHA/BHA cosrx toner with The Ordinary Peptides, is there only a problem with peptides serums or with any peptides? I'm asking because currently im using the inkey list peptide moisturizer, should i have any precaution or is it okay to wear both the peptide moisturizer and the cosrx toner?
Not all peptides are sensitive to pH. But I do not know the once that are not. And there seems to be no info I can find online. It would be great to have a list to see the ones that can be used with acidic products and do not break down.
So as for now, you can only trust the company. If they do not mention anything, then they are likely safe to use. (hopefully) And if you want to be safe, just don't use them immediately after AHA or BHA toners/exfoliants.
@@MelissaVanDijkOfficial thank you
Hi melissa. Trying this product out at night. As a beginner, how often should I use this?
Im currently using the Cosrx low ph good morning gel cleanser and it works great on me. I believe I need to moisturize after, will the hada labo milk be a great recommendation as moisturizer after this AHA/BHA toner? Thanks! 😊
Always choose a cleanser and moisturizer based on your skin type. Typically, lotions or creams are suited for dry skin, while gels are better for oily skin.
As for usage, it's about finding the right frequency for your skin. A good starting point might be to use the product every other day, then adjust the frequency based on your skin's personal tolerance. :)
Hey Melisssa! I dont even know what peptides is. I have a moisturizer from avene. Can I use this? Or does it have peprides?
INGREDIENTS: AVENE THERMAL SPRING WATER (AVENE AQUA), MINERAL OIL (PARAFFINUM LIQUIDUM), GLYCERIN, GLYCERYL STEARATE, SQUALANE, CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, CYCLOHEXASILOXANE, SERINE, CARBOMER, TETRASODIUM EDTA, TRIETHANOLAMINE, WATER (AQUA).
You can use this moisturiser, don't worry.
It's mainly about The Ordinary Peptide serums! :)
@@MelissaVanDijkOfficial Thanks you are the best. I had another question one time. And you did reply. Really helps out. Thank you again and greetings from Sweden 🙈☺
Hello, I just found your youtube and this is what i was looking for!!!! Thank you so much. I was always struggling with how to and how often do you use some products.
I have kinda bad acne (however you can not see it on my profile picture :D) ->I would like to ask you. If I use this product just in the morning, can I also use "The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner? 2-3x times in the evening? Both of them has AHA/BHA so now I am not really sure.
Thank you
Hmm, I think it will work initially, but after some time, it may become very irritating. Therefore, I would not recommend doing that. Instead, consider using just one of them. Or, since you already have both, you could alternate between them 2-3 times per week in your evening skincare routine :)
@@MelissaVanDijkOfficial Thank you!!!
Hey Melissa can you make a video about the difference between AHA and BHA and AHA/BHA toner from cosrx because what I don’t get is , am I allowed to use for example BHA at night if I use AHA/BHA toner in the morning ? Thanks
That's a good idea! I'll make a video or a short about it! Basically, you should avoid using multiple exfoliating acid products at the same time. How often you use them depends on your skin tolerance, as using them too frequently may cause sensitivities and irritations.
Hey meli 😊 so currently my skincare routine is
1. Cerave renewing SA cleanser
2. Numbuzin No.3 toner
3. Cosrx snail mucin
4. The ordinary hyaluronic acid 2% + B5
5. Cetaphil moisturizing lotion
And in the mornings the beauty of Joseon SPF
I have a few question though
1. Could I replace the Numbuzin toner for this one instead, I find the numbuzin to break me out a lot and I’ve been looking for a good toner to help me wit my acne
2. Is this a good skincare routine? What could I add or improve or remove??
3. Am I applying the products in the correct order?
If you tell me your skin concerns I can help you more.
@@MelissaVanDijkOfficial well I have dry skin as well I have acne towards the outer parts of my cheeks, i also have a lot of acne marks and scaring ( I’m guessing hyperpigmentation) so I’m trynna look for products that help with my acne and acne scars as well with the dryness.
@@Adriana-dr3uw Okay, but you do not use any products that can help fade acne marks 🤔
A routine could look like this:

Clean face with a hydrating cleanser (Example Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, La Roche Posay Toleriane Dermo Cleanser, CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser)
Maybe add an ascorbic acid serum here
Bauty of Joseon Sunscreen
PM:
Clean face with a hydrating cleanser
Adapalene 0,1% or a retinol

Salicylic Acid tend to work better of blackheads and overall pimples. Have a look at The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Anhydrous Solution. It feels like a light oil even though it is oil free but it isn't as drying on the skin.
Hi melissa! I have a question is my routine okay with this toner?
1. Cerave foaming cleanser
2. Cosrx aha bha toner
3. Cosrx snail mucin
4. Cerave moisurising cream
5. Cosrx sunsreen
Thankyou for your reaction!
The routine looks a bit weird since you are using a cleanser for oily skin and cream for dry skin. So if you have dry skin, you need to change the cleanser to the CeraVe hydrating cleanser. If you have oily skin, do not use the CeraVe cream anymore.
Dry Skin =
1. Cerave hydrating cleanser
2. Cosrx aha bha toner
3. Cosrx snail mucin
4. Cerave moisturising cream
5. Cosrx sunscreen
Oily to Normal Skin =
1. Cerave foaming cleanser
2. Cosrx aha bha toner
3. Cosrx snail mucin
4. Cosrx sunscreen
Thankyou for your reaction. I have combination skin so my skin is now (during winter) dry and during summer oily.
Okay, so I wouldn't use the cream. because cosrx aloe soothing sun cream is already very moisturizing, so no need for it. But test it and see how it goes.
hi melissa! do you think i can use the cerave acne foaming cleanser (4% benzoyl peroxide). i've recently been using the aha bha toner with it and i've been breaking out. is it purging or is this toner causing irritation on my skin?
for how long have you been using it and what else are you using?
@@MelissaVanDijkOfficial i've been using the toner for maybe two weeks now and a lot of pimples have appeared since i started using it. i only use the cerave acne foaming cleanser, the toner, and the cerave daily moisturizer. am i purging or is it irritation?
@@jennycecilia Purging is the process by which your skin may break out or experience more clogged pores than usual when you first start using a new product. This happens because the product is causing your skin to speed up its natural exfoliation process, which can bring impurities to the surface.
With aha/bha and benzoyl peroxide, purging can occur because it is working to remove dead skin cells and unclog pores. This can cause the skin to break out in the first few weeks of use, but after that initial phase, the skin should start to clear up and become smoother and brighter.
Still it is very difficult to determine during the first few weeks 🙁
hey! do you apply the cosrx aha bha toner everyday or just one or twice a week?
love your vids btw!
It is a gentle formulation that can be used daily :) But of course, it depends on your skin tolerance, so you may need to adjust it over time. Just test it 😃
Hello Melissa, can i use this cosrx aha bha clarifying treatment toner and cerave renewing retinol serum with hada labo shirojyun arbutin whitening lotion (toner)?? Hada labo toner has Ino Zyun, Vitamin C and Arbutin , Hyaluronic acid Na-2.
Hello 😀 COSRX AHA BHA clarifying treatment toner has a low pH, so it is not ideal to use with retinol. But at the same time, CeraVe retinol is very gentle, and when combined with the Hada Labo toner, it may work well.
Hey Melissa , can I use cosrx aha/bha toner before Beauty of Joseon deep glow serum (alpha arbutin ) and numbuzin no 3 serum in my PM routine . I have dry full and uneven skin tone . Can this toner be used daily ?
Yes you can! If you tolerate it day, then yes :)
Hi plz tell a routine using the cosrx ahaa bha toner with few minimalist or ordinary serums for dull and anti ageing routine in age 30s. My present routine

Hi melissa! Can i use a retinoid after the aha/bha toner? And following that the snail essence?
Generally that is not a good idea. But what retinoid do you have?🤔
hey melly !! (just a nickname I created,I have a habit to create nicknames for people I adore)
so off topic but I'm looking for a sunscreen so I prefer gel based sunscreens but can all skin types use gel based or is it that ONLY oily skin can use it? please clarify if u know, love u !!
Hey! :)
You can use a gel based sunscreen, that's fine! There are different gel sunscreens on the market. Some are great for all skin types whereas others may be best for oilier skin which depends on the overall formulation :)
I like Annessa's Perfectly UV Gel Sunscreen with SPF 50 or La Roche Posay Hyalu B5 Aquagel Moisturizing Gel SPF 30 - I haven't tried that many gels, those are just the ones I like so far! :)
I am using this first time I don't know I can use this toner and add it with my e-vitamin moisturizer at night ?
Yes, that's fine.
Hey can i use Cosrx salicylic acid daily gentle cleanser before using Cosrx AHA BHA Clarifying toner nd after The ordinary Niacinamide 10% Zinc 1% serum?
If your skin tolerates the combination, yes :)
Can i use hylaraunic acid from the ordinary after aha/bha toner?
Yes
do i need to wait for this toner to dry before i apply the snail muccin essence (since the snail essence should be applied on damp skin) ?
Yes, wait for the toner to absorb into the skin and then apply the snail essence on top.
Damp skin refers to the skin absorbing water while washing your face. After that you take a towel and remove the remaining water drops from the skin surface. Like a sponge, you wet the sponge and then squeeze out the water so that it remains damp.
You do the same thing when layering skincare products. You wait for the product to absorb and then move on to the next step.
Hi Melissa. Few questions to start it as a beginner of chemical exfoliation.
1.Can i use if after my regular toner to introduce it slowly as I've sensitive skin?
2.At pm routine can i use snail essence, cream after it?
3.Can i use it in damp skin?
Hello Roxana,
1. Yes, you can use it after a hydrating toner. Make sure that it does not contain Glycolic, Lactic or Salicylic Acid in a higher concentration (some people do not know that it is the same as AHA or BHA)
2. Yes, you can use the snail all-in-one cream after it
3. if you do not confuse it with wet skin, yes

Hey! 😊
What cleanser do you use?
Since you have oily skin, I recommend either using a hydrating serum (like a Hyaluronic Acid serum) or a gel-type moisturizer instead of your current moisturizer. As for the exfoliant, look into a Salicylic Acid (BHA) Cleanser, Toner, or Serum.
Hey Melissa..my pm skin care routine is

@@ankitgupta8223 Okay, and what cleanser do you use? The Gentle skin cleanser or the facial cleanser? And I assume you have normal to oily skin? 🤔And which moisturizer do you have?
So i can't use a salicylic acid cleanser with this toner??? And what about salicylic acid exfoliate, can i use it with a salicylic acid cleanser and this toner???
Well, if it's very gentle and has a pH-balanced formulation, then it should work. However, if it has a low pH and a high concentration, then it can become very irritating over time. Also, it's important to note that BHA is equal to Salicylic Acid or its derivative, Betaine Salicylate.
I use an exfoliator - Skkinfood Black Sugar Mask. Do you think that is safe to use?
When using the mask, please do not use an exfoliant in the same routine. Keep them separate.
can use a brightening gentle exfoliator to wash my face, then the AHA/BHA clarifying treatment toner together
Well, when using multiple exfoliating acid products in the same routine, and also doing it repeatedly, it can cause irritation over time. However, technically, combining them is possible. Still, the most important factor is the frequency of use.
Hi Melissa! Can i use the Corsx alicilyc acid cleanser and the Corsx Toner together?

Hi!
I have blackheads on my cheek area and acne scars...and having some big pores...then what should I use?
My skin type is oily.
Recently I had brought the Cosrx Aha Bha clarifying treatment toner...will this help me to clear my skin from blackheads and acne?
And how many times a day this toner can be used??
Also please suggest some products which will unclog my pores.
For blackheads, you need extraction; otherwise, they do not go away, especially if they are deeply embedded. And if you are referring to dark spots (acne scars), yes, it can help improve them over time.
If this is the only exfoliating acid product you use, then you can try using it once daily, ideally in the evening. It should already help you to unclog pores. The only thing you may need to add is an essence afterward, something like CosRX snail mucin or a hyaluronic acid serum. :)
Hi Mel! Can I use the toner with panoxyl?
It can work, yes, since I don't think that this toner is a 'strong' exfoliant. However, if sensitivity should occur, use it less often and/or your BP cleanser as well.
Can I use aloe Vera gel as my mosturiser?
And can I use sunscreen after using my mosturiser?
Yes :)
cosrx aha bha clarifying treatment toner can i use it at night without moisturiser.is it possible to cleanse my face and then apply toner and not use anything?
Yes, of course. That is usually how I use exfoliating acids; it works best for me.
hi Melissa! how are you?
i have a question… it’s okay to use this toner after using COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser? they match well?
Sadly, their cleanser is not really low pH but rather around the skin's pH, which is slightly acidic. I suppose they picked that name for this reason. SO, it means that it's not a problem.

Hello Chris,
Well, you need to test the different formulations to see what works, but an AHA-BHA toner may be the right option. Or an exfoliating acid serum such as Mandelic Acid 10 from The Ordinary or Salicylic Acid 2% or even the COSRX Blackhead Power Liquid (which has a gentler form of Salicylic Acid, and a higher pH) may be another alternative for you.

I recommend using them in separate routines for at least 2-4 weeks before using them together. This way, you'll see how your skin responds to the individual products before combining them.
But overall, yes, you can use them together if it's fine for your skin.
Hi, hope your are good 😊 i want to ask you question. Can i use azaleic acid before cosrx aha bha toner ? 😊

Hi Melissa how are you?...I have a question as I have a combination skin type with very few blackheads and whiteheads I just want something to clean my pores and shrink them does cosrx AHA BHA toner really works for this purpose I mean it has lesser concentration of AHA BHA.
Well, the shrinking of pores isn't really going to happen if it's due to genetics. However, exfoliating can help remove dead skin cells, which may make them look better. For blackheads, the best option is visiting an esthetician for extraction. But essentially, yes, it's a great exfoliant with good ingredients, so it's definitely worth a try! :)
Thanks for the Quick response...As I have seen many TH-camrs claim that they didn't notice any difference just because of its lesser concentration...do you suggest that such a lesser concentration like 0.1% can make a difference or we can see any results.
@@sabahatkhattak1084 The exact amount is unknown, so we're uncertain about what's included. However, even small quantities can be effective.
Thanks Melissa ❤️
Hi Melissa, can you explain what these 2 products do, Cosrx Aha/Bha clarifying toner and Cosrx Bha Blackhead power liquid, I have a combination skin and confused about which one should I get
COSRX AHA/BHA Toner is a mixture of two exfoliating acids, Glycolic Acid, and Betaine Salicylate, suitable for all skin types. It works to exfoliate both the skin surface and within the pores. On the other hand, COSRX BHA is better suited for oilier skin types, as it contains Betaine Salicylate and Niacinamide. Its primary benefits include regulating oiliness, unclogging pores, and brightening the skin.
However, it's worth noting that some individuals may be sensitive to Glycolic Acid. In such cases, using a BHA product might be a better choice. Alternatively, if you prefer another AHA, Lactic or Mandelic Acid would be gentler options.
@MelissaVanDijkOfficial can you also explain what does the Some by mi Aha Bha Pha toner do?
@@Hamza-lk1nq It's similar to COSRX AHA/BHA Toner with the difference that it also contains PHA (a very gentle exfoliant). However, I personally prefer COSRX Toner.

I did ask them on Shopee and they advised me to use 2 to 3 times a day either morning or night and wash it off after a minute. But I did ask them if there’s any problem leaving it on rather than wiping it off and they said no unless if you have sensitive skin
So I think it’s all about how your skin tolerate. This is a mild exfoliating toner. It isn’t as strong as their BHA 4% Blackhead Power Liquid
hi Melissa, can i use this with effaclar duo + ?
Yes you can!
hi melissa! can i apply TO aha bha peeling solution after using COSRX AHA BHA toner?
Hmm, the peeling solution is a rinse-off mask.
So the steps are:
Washing your face (To remove makeup, sunscreen, dirt, sweat...)
Wait 5 minutes for skin to dry
Use the AHA+BHA Peel (leave on for max 10minutes)(Video: th-cam.com/video/wSY0pYcy8KY/w-d-xo.html)
Use hydration/moisturiser afterwards
You should not use any other AHA and/or BHA products in the same routine. As that can easily lead to burns on the skin 😞
Melissa Van Dijk thank u so much you’re a great help 😩😩 idk if i can survive this without ur guide
Can I use it along with cerave SA cleanser and then this toner?
Yes, you can! BUT if you have the smoothing cleanser it may be drying, so you may need to adjust the frequency.
Should i use cetaphil moisturising lotion after cosrx AHA/BHA exfoliating toner?
No, just leave it as it is, or follow with a hyaluronic acid serum or perhaps something like snail mucin essence.
Hey Melissa, I just got this cosrx clarifying toner cause I'm breaking out on my cheeks. I have tiny bumps/rashes with black heads all over my cheeks and big pimples sometimes. Will this be able to clear it?
Am routine :
cosrx morning ph gel, and cosrx cream mosturizer
Pm routine :
cosrx Salicylic cleanser, clarifying toner and cosrx cream mosturizer.
PS. I wanted to add ordinary hyaluronic acid, ordinary alpha arbutin and niaciminide in the morning routine cause I have hiperpigmentation.
And add same serums in the night routine without hyaluronic.
Please are these combination ok?
Hello! It would be interesting to understand what changes have occurred since you started experiencing these problems. Have you noticed an increase in stress, perhaps a lack of sleep, or any changes in your diet? Such concerns often stem from internal factors within the body. In other words, you need to figure out what triggers your acne to control it.
@@MelissaVanDijkOfficial I had to take a lot of drugs (antibiotics)last year cause I was sick, which disrupted my hormones I guess, because I don’t usually have acne on my face. So since then (August 2023)to be precise, I have been having acne breakouts non stop it’s frustrating. So I guess it might be hormonal acne. Can you advise me on what to do?. It will appreciated. I have those products I mentioned above and also have some supplements I take.
@@Claire_panda Okay, in that case, I highly recommend focusing on your diet to increase the beneficial bacteria in your gut, as antibiotics can significantly disrupt these bacteria. Therefore, you may want to collaborate with a doctor or a dietitian who is knowledgeable about gut bacteria and can provide guidance on how to strengthen them after antibiotic use.
@@MelissaVanDijkOfficial Alright thanks so much. So in other words I shouldn't use those products I mentioned above ?
@@Claire_panda Well, they won't do much for you if the issue lies within you, like in your gut.
Hi, because of it having such little concentration of aha/bha, can it be used to prep skin, following with a vitamin c serum after? Thanks
It still has a low pH. But yes, from my experience, there aren't any issues. But it may depend on your personal skin tolerance. Just test it 😀
@@MelissaVanDijkOfficial Okay, thank you, I’m planning on using the Wishtrend 15% Vita-C with ferulic acid, as i’m struggling with acne scars and overall, uneven skin tone.
@@chaotiicjel This should work. If sensitive occurs, keep them separate.
A very informative video but i think you should've mentioned a patch test before applying the products some people may feel irritated

Yes, I also have patch-test videos on my channel. :)
Hi Melissa , my facial cleanser has glycolic acid in it.I was wondering if that’s gonna cause any irritations the fact that this toner is AHA/BHA . Will the skin able to handle AHA applications consecutively?
It depends on your cleanser, so which one do you use? (most only have very little and are not an issue)

@@benbascon1945 No it is not an issue :)

Hi, I just bought this toner. Can i use this toner and use 5% niacinamide after?
Yes, absolutely
After applying this toner can i use seoulceuticals vit c serum?
Yes, that's fine! :)
Hello! Can i ask a question
I actually use a alkaline cleanser (i actually use chikpea flour as its good to regulate ph of skin )
So should i change my cleanser to use this? Bcz i think i read that it doesn't work with alkaline face wash
Well the thing is that this has a low pH and you are using a cleanser with a high pH so it may not be as effective as it could be!
@@MelissaVanDijkOfficial so would u recommend the cosrx ph balancing face wash?
@@autumnleavess480 well it would surely be a great option!
Hello :) Is it good to use it in a routine together with La Roche Effeclar Serum?

Can i use this with cosrx toner pad? Or thr centella alcohol free toner?
Yes, that's fine.

Hey! :)
Do you still get active acne? If so, how much?
I recommend keeping the routine as simple as possible. You do not need to use multiple toners or essences. Use COSRX AHA/BHA Toner immediately after cleansing before applying anything else on top. As for blackheads, I suggest extracting them from time to time to achieve the best results.

Hi Mellisa, can I use differin gel & Cosrx aha bha toner together?
No, it would be too acidic, making the skin more prone to irritation.
Ok, could you please suggest what other product can i use with diffren gel for acne scars?
@@Munchkinxx Alternate between your Differin Gel and an AHA Exfoliant OR Azelaic Acid in your evening (PM) routine, but avoid using them together in the same routine.

Hello, so I had a few questions. I deal with those small bumps on my forehead so would this toner help with those bumps they don’t look like fungal acne they could be ccs but idk. Also would i be able to use the ordinary lactic acid with this toner? I have also been using benzoyl peroxide and idk if i can pare it with this toner
Hey! :)
For how long and how often do you use Benzoyl Peroxide and/or Lactic Acid?
@@MelissaVanDijkOfficial i have been using benzoyl peroxide gel for a couple of weeks and for the lactic acid i just wanted to try it i didn’t use it yet
You can probably use the Toner with your BP gel. However, I recommend not using it with Lactic Acid, it may lead to sensitivity.
@@MelissaVanDijkOfficial hi!!! off topic but is it okay to use a hydrating toner after using the cosrx aha/bha toner ?
@@lilibloom4267 Yes :)
Hi can I use aha bha toner with cerave SA smoothing cream?
If that's fine for your skin, yes.
Hi!! My nighttime routine is
Cosrx low Ph cleansing gel
Cosrx Aha Bha clarifying toner( daily every night)
Cosrx Snail mucin
BOJ rice and alpha arbutin serum
The ordinary niacinamide serum
Green Tea Gel
Not sure If I’m purging or breaking out. Im getting pimples in my regular breakout areas and some kinda looks like black heads. Started using the toner from September and getting pimples from last week of September. Should I stop? Or decrease my usage of toner?
It seems like it's simply too much for your skin to handle. Using so many products can make it difficult for the products to effectively penetrate the skin. I would suggest taking a break and then selecting 1-2 products you prefer to create a simple routine. Or something like this:
AM:
Cosrx Low pH Cleansing Gel
Green Tea Gel (if you're not exposed to the sun)
Sunscreen (if you'll be in the sun for extended periods)
PM:
Beauty of Joseon Green Plum Cleanser
Cosrx Snail Mucin
Either BOJ Rice and Alpha Arbutin Serum or The Ordinary Niacinamide Serum
PM (2 times per week):
Beauty of Joseon Green Plum Cleanser
AHA/BHA Toner (wait a few minutes after applying)
Either Snail Mucin or Green Tea Gel
How about tea tree toner and vitamin c serum? Is this a good combo?
@@akhumsemphang6514 Again, it's way too much for your skin. You should reduce the number of products, not increase them.
Tea tree toner vitamin c serum moisturiser and sunscreen for AM?

hi i have whitehead and blackhead on my nose. is this toner helpful ?
I recommend looking into a BHA (Salicylic Acid) product :)
Please I have a question...can I use clarifying cosrx AHA/BHA toner and the ordinary mandelic acid 10%HA together
well, both are exfoliating acids, so mixing them is generally not a good idea, but the mandelic acid formulation is gentle. Still, it would be best to alternate.
Thank you so much
hiii! so meaning its not advisable to use the clarifying treatment toner & vitamin c 23 serum together is it?
It mainly depends on your skin tolerance. Use them at first in separate routines to see how your skin tolerates them individually before using them together :)

Will the essence be good for oily to acne prone skin? I get break outs very often:/ and I have a lot of bumps on my nose and I want to get clear it out
Do you mean the toner? It is suitable for your skin type and concerns.
@@MelissaVanDijkOfficial yes! Thank u!
Hi Melissa! :)
I would love to grab your advice for my skincare routine.
My skin tends to get oily during the day (especially when I'm wearing makeup) but it tends to feel awfully dry at times with dry patches and red blotches over my face.
My skincare routine is currently
1. somebymi acne clear foam
2. somebymi byebye blackhead
3. somebymi aha bha miracle toner
4. isntree hylarunoic acid essence
5. somebymi snail mucin
6. hamilton urederm cream
After applying toner, I always feel that my face feels quite irritated and I experience a burning sensation. I also sometimes top up my skincare (before the cream) with squalane oil to feel more moisturised but sometimes feels "itchy".
Thanks!
Hey! :)
Is this your AM and PM routine?
Do you have acne-prone skin?
Or mainly dry/oily - redness (maybe even rosacea) prone skin?
How often do you use both cleansers?
How often do you use the rest of your skincare products?
@Melissa Van Dijk It would be my pm routine!
I reckon I have dry/ oily skin because I do get acne but mainly around my periods. For my cleansers, I used them practically daily and for my routine, it was daily until recently when it felt super sensitive so I laid off everything and stuck with just applying Vaseline to calm my face because i would experience a burning sensation when I applied a moisturiser
@@jeannettenguyen9329 Some by Mi Bye Bye Blackhead cleanser is, in my opinion, pretty intense for daily use (maybe the other one as well, I'm not sure as I haven't tested that one), so I just would use that one (or even both) from time to time. So, look for a regular gentle cleanser, a non-exfoliating acid cleanser. Since you've used that cleanser daily + the AHA/BHA toner, this is likely why you're experiencing sensitivity.
@@MelissaVanDijkOfficial thanks for that! when you mentioned from time to time, does that mean 2x a week?
@@jeannettenguyen9329 Yeah, you can start with that and see how it goes. This can be adjusted depending on what your skin tolerates :)

No :)
Yey! Thanks!
