Even with mega evolution
Pokemon X Lysandre: "Let's make everyone immortal."
Pokemon Y Lysandre: "Aight, I'm just going to kill everyone except me and my followers."
That includes him and his followers.
He also mentions he doesn't care whether he lives or not.
Actually he didn't want to make everyone immortal in X.
In pokemon x his goals are the same of Y
Basically he will use Xerneas to make everyone immortal then wait for overpopulation to happem
A villain that is so bad ass that he battles the main character on the surface of the sun
_This guy deserved a Pokémon Z to have his moment._
I really wish it happens ASAP. It could be a very good connection to SwSh as well as Eternatus could be another important part of the ultimate weapon.

His final battle is pretty sick.
I don't know why Lysandre is on lava cuz it burns others and archie is on a whirlpool and maxie has gone one step further to a wildfire.
It's not really a twist villain that's meant to surprise you, its just waiting for the characters to catch up

Didn't liked Team Flare at first, probably because they were so easy to beat. But the more I replay X and Y, the more I like them, Lysandre and Xerosic especially
I just finished a Flying/Psychic/Ghost only (no items/no exp share/no grinding/no legendaries) challenge and Team Flare was kinda hard. Only my Talonflame wasn't weak to Dark so it required a lot of planning to actually progress through Team Flare. Team was Delphox, Alakazam (w/ Dazzling Gleam to check Dark Types), Gengar, Sigilyph, Talonflame and Golurk.
yea but i wish they made some of their members more fleshed out like those colorful ladies whose names i forgot, they at least need something..

Y'all remember in the pokemon direct where it shows a clip of the protags wearing team flare outfits, well i have a feeling that they might make a return in some point future dlc of sw/sh. Even though Galar didn't really had a evil organization. A veteran evil organization like team flare will be nice to see or maybe they can pull of rainbow rocket round 2 who knows?
It's probably just dlc clothes. They showed you can also wear team Plasma outfits

@@cinderleaves3949 guys don't forget the 'Original Dragon'. We need BW3 for that very reason as the 'Original Dragon' is supposed to be a fusion of all three Kyurem, Reshiram and Zekrom but in BW we only a fusion of two NOT 3. Also, there plenty of events from BW in particular that needs to be solved, e.g. the scary ghost girl we all know and love.

How funny that in his first two battles he's actually one of the first Team Flare members that you face in the area.
It took me that long to notice that he's the boss of the gang, because of his trainer class being only "Team Flare" during the first two battles.
Plus him having a Gyarados and Honchcrow reminds me of Cyrus.
Lysandre's design and ost goes hard
This guy has the best theme out of all the Poké-villains. Go home, Cyrus, Ghetsis, and Lusamine-Lysandre at least has that over you.

Ghetsis is probably the best villain story wise, but Lysandre has the best battle theme for sure.
when they remake these games, i really believe they should make pyroar his main pokemon.
He could have been better, but in the endgame he could have actually been a secret final challenge.
Pyroar isn't strong enough for that and XY are already easy as it is
i totally feel like Yveltal's ultimate weapon is the canon story for Lysandre's story arc. it just feels like it should be there given his proclamation to get rid of the MC by taking their life force whilst committing suicide.

Low-key XY didn't have that bad of a story. It's no BW but it actually has interesting ideas, way better story than Gen 1-3 and Gen 8. About the same level as 4, maybe better.
Yeah I think people see pretty bland characters and automatically assume a bad story.

Gen 6 isn't that bad tbh, but yeah I guess what most people hate about it is the difficulty, which is also made worse by a party wide exp share given to you so early

kinda sucks that the people in poverty took Lysandre for granted, they should have been pleased on what they have instead of craving for more. honestly, just be grateful for the things you already have.
Lysandre: A predictable villain with a stupid plan, yet, in my opinion, he has the best battle theme.

I was using some old Pokemon I had from events of Heart Gold and Soul Silver pretty much just for fun and other favorites of mine, I had some of the mythicals like Jirachi, Mew, Celebi, Manaphy and Meloetta along with Plusle and Minun for the ride (Manaphy replaced with Yveltal for the final Lysandre battle)... the irony is that both Plusle and Minun did most of the work against Lysandre after getting RNG screwed on the 1st turn gettting Yveltal 1-hit KO'ed by a critical hit, granted that I abused the affection system to have the other 5 pokes for high critical hit and endure odds as well, and pretty much the same team I used in ORAS to deal with both team magma and aqua, except that I replaced Manaphy with Diancie (and history pretty much repeated itself, except that no poke in my team got defeated).
At least I know why Ash never seems to age he must be immortal.
My team for the first 2 battles was Delphox, Charizard, Simisear, Simisage, Simipour, and Lucario. Almost the same for the 3rd battle but replaced Lucario with Xerneas. You read that right, I USED THE MONKEYS.

It never made sense to me why he had a Meinfoo and a Murkrow in his first battle, they should have been evolved
If I remember correctly, Meinfoo doesn't even evolve until like Lv. 50.

Xerneas used Gravity before switching out, which negates any effect that would prevent Ground type attacks from landing on a target, whether because of Flying type, the Ability Levitate, or the item Air Balloon.
