I'm crying right now. Being 26 and still dependant on others made me realize how I got here. I was a Straight A student in highschool and now here, in my parents basement, I let my fear win. I was so scared of going to university because of the debt I would incur that I delayed and delayed until last year I was 25 working at a Mcjob thinking "You are not being cautious, you are being weak, take a risk." My victim mind screamed: no, you have a mental illness, its okay. And your parents enabled you to live with them. Plus, why risk so much debt? But I know the truth; I just was scared of failure. Guess what? Even if I wasn't mentally ill, and my parents pushed me, and I was debt free from college, there is still the possibility of things going really wrong. That's life.
The only way to truly fail is to never try.. Sometimes a bad move is better than no move at all.. You can learn and recover from a bad move, but staying stagnant and safe gets you nowhere. Plus good opportunities will come along when you're active and involved..
i get ya the debt problem is a particularly big one and it doesn't help that the one option we have to get rid of it is gone during the Obama era of usa
I fear leaving this planet without acting on my dream of thru hiking the Appalachian Trail. My start date is 2/16/20. I will use every tool available to get me there. Looks like you’re coming with me👊

I know this is going to be a roller coaster ride, however, I believe in living life by sitting in the front seat with my hands in the air. It is the resurrection based on a judgement that we can be afraid of. All the body builders, famous athletes, military people, and everyone in between gets the same ending. That should humble us. How many of us are halfway there or pretty close?

I understand we are humans and eating, sleeping and eating is what we do but I can’t stand the thought of having to go to a job I hate and be dependent on someone else meaning my boss.
