This is actually a great teardown video of the Trip 35. Im not sure how much volt the cells are supposed to send to the light meter but its definitly not working right on this one. Firs make sure the diaphragm isnt stuck. Then when everything is apart, wave your phone led light in front of the selenium cells. The light meter should be moving toward the shutter button.
Took my trip apart and back together and for some reason the aperture settings wheel is just spinning and not actually clicking round like it should? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated I kept it on A and the mountain icon when putting it back on ensuring it didn’t move not sure what the problem is
12:35 so I watched another tutorial before yours and the guy didn't mention it so I probably messed up with my camera focus, any Idea on what I can do to fix it ?
Interesting video. I'm in the same situation only I didn't pay anything for my camera. I know that the shutter blades are stuck. Haven't opened it up yet so i don't know about the selenium cell. It's about two years since you put out this video, have you been able to get the camera to work?
