I'm just starting. My main focus is getting good reviews and I can do that through friends and family.

I started with $100 dollar basic washer , but I’m a natural salesman and I can pitch it to them good ! You just have to practice saying NO to people and know your worth

Great content, I would recommend having a waiver form for engines. Why? You will get folks who have check engine lights or engine issues who will call you and set you up. You do the detail, they will call back in a day or so saying it must have been caused by the water etc. Some people just suck! What I do is recommend they don’t do it if the vehicle is over 3 yrs old and explain that there will be water introduced to clean off residue. Most newer engines can take it, but if they already have a CEL or there are mods, you can’t do it. Make them sign a waiver removing you from the liability. Been here a few times and it can get ugly if you don’t cover your azz.

Great content! I was thinking about charging the same as my competitors but after listening to you I have to gain the experience first then I can price mine accordingly. Thanks bro!

When I started my detailing business with my brother our prices were mad cheap. Can’t really make them too high if you’re just starting. It’s all about experience! Now after doing it for 3 years as a side hustle we were able to raise our prices according to make sure we are getting paid for our services. Just gotta price on how much you value your time.

Great content man! I'm in the same area as you and I'm just beginning my detailing journey. You've actually been one of the complanies locally that I've been taking some inspiration from and look up to. One quesiton, how was it taking you 2-3 hours to do interior and exterior by yourself when you were starting? It's taking me an average of 5-6 hours to do a full detail and I can't imagine doing it in less than 4 hours unless I had help. I'm not doing anything crazy either, just a basic interior detail, no shampoo or carpet cleaning, and basic exterior was and wax.
