I know I am..I'll stop working out and get fat and decide I'm gonna get in shape again..I snap back so fast...I lose weight fast I build muscle fast ...if I stop working out I gain weight a muscle disappear! ...me working my job outside construction people be thinking I go to the gym, it haven't been to the gym in months!

One thing to note, be sure to schedule drive time between your services as well so they do not overlap. Good points as always though, especially on respecting yourself and saying no to same day. There is a 90% chance you don’t want that type of client to begin with; so in a way it protects you in the end

Just wanted to say thank you for the all the tme and effort you put into your videos. I came across your channel about 2yrs ago , which gave me the confidence to start my own detailing business. I started out strong in 2023 and business was very good. This year, not so good. Only a few customers, none of the customers from last year have contacted. Each customer from '23 was very satisfied with resluts, positive google reviews, and my prices are reasonable. Any suggestions on how to attract more business? Thanks again for all your advice and insights

Just FYI when you get started its a great idea to call around. However with that said. Im in the carpet cleaning industry so very similar here. When i called i was nervous but straight honest that i was a new company just calling to get advice. All the companies were actually excited i called and helped me in a dramatic way. We all still keep in touch now and its very often that we send each other jobs. We even created a network group where we all met and have a small bbq a few times a year. That all came from me just being honest that i was a new company wanting to lean pricing and advice. Ive learned most of us small business owners love to talk about our success which is why they didn't get offended.

How do you secure payment in a situation where the client is unable to see you after detail is done?

Im hoping that client tipped because im not putting up a tent just for an interior and believe me doing a detailing in the rain can be a pain. Also moving forward, be careful with doing your services in parking lots because although no one is not saying anything. You have to make sure that the client got permission because it is private property.
