Chelonia Mydas there are so many cards in MTG that p2w is mostly impossible , you can't counter all decks since there are too many viable decks , all you need is a good starter deck and you can start to win games , maybe not tournaments but at least you get your chances.

Aaaand last year I paid US$20 for a Daybreak Coronet. This time I'll be smarter and only buy my 3 Bitterblossoms in a few months when prices drop again.
I found it stupid that my local store is selling boxes for $280 and packs for $13. You're the best store in the area and you decide to get greedy. Really?
I love Iona Shield of Emeria. I made an angel deck a while back that was worth probably $200 and it had 1 of her. I also had a platinum angel in my side deck as a joke.
I wrote down all of your pulls and checked the price against TCGPlayer given the current going rate, which is down a bit since before today. Including your lucky foil Etched Champion and Remand but excluding anything less than a dollar (because let's face it, those cards' value is very close to 0), you pulled about $170. The current rate on Ebay for a box is $225 and in most stores they're asking MSRP still. Considering this box is quite typical looking and many of the expensive rares still have a lot of room to go down, I'd say the contest between boxes and singles for this set isn't even close. Singles for sure.
On your remark on Deathmark: I enjoy the art too. The "black oil" of the mana symbol in the eye isn't flowing upwards though. The idea, I believe, is that the guy in the art is dead. His head is thrown back/laying back. The "oil" is flowing with gravity downwards towards the top of his head because of the position his body is in. I still really, really enjoy that card. Love your unboxings each time though. 8)
On the card DEATH MARK the black mana is not going up the eye the person is being hung upside down and the black mana is flowing out and down the eye!!
I was only able to buy 3 packs, which was a little disappointing. Ended up first opening a fulminator mage, almost paying for all the packs already. Last rare was Kozilek. Think I did well. :)
I don't even play MTG, but I like Boogie's unboxings. I think their artwork is really cool! I also think the card game is cool though I don't quite understand yet!
Good to know noble hierarch gained value. I have 5 somewhere around my house and I always loved playing with it. About trading cards and regretting it later, back in revised I had a full 40 dual lands 4 set. Then I decided to quit magic and solt them all for around 200 bucks. Yeah, that bad.
I got one of those boosters just for the hell of it, but to be honest the cards weren't all that great. They're all cards with one very specific card condition, or maybe a summon cost of nothing. I bet they could be good, but you need a damn specific set. But come on, a FOUR color card!? That is so damn hard to play. Also the 10 bucks does get you a guaranteed foil so yeah.
On the death mark art, couldn't the person be dead lying horizontal on the ground and the liquid be flowing downward if their head is slightly titled backwards? Just a thought. :D
Artsificial Yeah that isn't what bothers me, it's the effects at the start of the video where Boogie puts himself over a strange background. Not a big deal but when they show up they annoy me xD

MTG is one of the best games I've ever played in my life. It takes intelligence, strategy, and experience to be decent at it. I was always good, but nowhere near elite. I had to stop playing because it's addictive, expensive, and time consuming.

All Im gonna say is if your gonna be a magic pod caster and open modern box, you should brush up on your modern. etched champion... affinity same with cranial plating.
agreed. distortion strike, forked bolt, several others come to mind that should be in here. but hey the mythics and rares are good, and mythic foils seem to appear 1 out of 2 and a half boxes which is very nice.

I miss playing MTG. Do it online is not near the same thing and I can not find anyone to play this days. But I love to see pro matches and the new cards. The thrill of opening a booster is just something that gets me everytime.
