There is something about pack opening that is so irresistible. I don't collect MTG at all but I once bought an entire box off ebay, just to open the packs. Then I sold them for half the price, a small cost for infinite satisfaction :)

Yeah, back in the day i spent a lot in yugioh cards, even tho i alredy had a powerful deck, just for that satisfaction

I don't collect MTG cards, have never played it, or really have any idea what you're talking about half the time. Closest thing I've gotten to it is Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Hearthstone.
But there's something super satisfying about unboxing the cards, or at least watching you unbox them, and the art on the cards is cool too.
if you found those other games enjoyable then MTG will blow your mind with the amount of fun you can have.

I don't even play magic but something about watching boogie unbox this shit is so entertaining
I just opened my first pack of mtg. It was the mtg origins deck builder toolkit. I would recommend it to ever one. I got Atarka, World Render. Nightmare, Aegis Angel, Terra Stomper, Dark Petition, Ire Shaman, Mahamoti Djinn, Shivan Dragon... These are all the legendary cards. It was a lot of fun opening 285 cards and already feeling like a god.
the only one of those that is legendary is Atarka. I believe the word you're looking for is " rare". been playing too much Hearthstone?

:D I know MTGHQ. I said in one of my videos I was going to buy his cat, Colton, and teach it to play MTG if I reach 10 billion subscribers lol. We opened 102 boxes at my shop and got quite a few expeditions but this set overall is proving to be hard to sell and I'll barely make a profit with the new USPS prices :(
I don't even play MTG but for some reason I enjoy watching Boogie geek out about slips of cardboard with printed images on them. Strange, but hey, entertainment's entertainment.
Im not into magic the gathering or anything like that but watching you open these is so therapeutic!!! I dont know how but it like hypnotises me!!!
Gotta say, 90% of the time you put up a video, I really have no interest in your video content. Yet I watch. Cause you are a good dude. Youre a good person for these kids to be watching, and You can still give them their silly youtube laughs with your Francis stuff. Keep at it man. Where do you keep all those cards? In binders? Do you collect whole sets?
I pulled 45 Mythics in one box today... Apparently some boxes are bugged right now and roughly 1 in 100 (seeing everything from people saying 1/10, to 1/1000, so not completely sure) boxes of the "first run" are glitched like this. Insane and unfortunately, it will tank all the mythic prices:/

Mirrorpool sounds like it'd be a great addition to a control deck, considering it'd be able to double any kill spells.
I know nothing abut Magic, but the art on the cards is so cool. The art's always been awesome even on the old cards.
This REALLY wants to make me buy a box. The more I see of this set, the more I realize how much better it is than the previous one.

Eldrazi Displacer feels like a more balanced Deadeye Navigator, to me.
Safe to say i'm running both in my ETB Bant deck.

Hail Boogie! I'm current playing T2 Standard eldrazi ramp and Thought-Knot Seer is one of the best cards to handle mid range/aggressive decks, worked fine for me

Are you planning on doing a video on the recent ban list (IE: Twin and Bloom in modern, Prophet in EDH, and Faeries in Pauper)? I'd love to watch it and hear your opinion, because I've heard a ton of different opinions about those bans, and would value your opinion quite a lot.

I opened my very first booster box yesterday and pulled an Expedition Land a Plansewalker and several mythics.
I've got an itch for some more Francis sketches!
i found 2 planeswalkers (nissa and chandra) a lot of rare eldrazis,a mirror pool, some legendary enchantments and the huge 12/12 eldrazi (i forgot his name).thought knot seer is the most op eldrazi right now imho

Eldrazi mimic is my favourite card of the set but I think storm chaser Mage is super underrated so far

I ended up pulling 5 mythics from my box, 1 being a $.60 mythic the other being sphinx. got some great pulls though.

I have a dread defiler in my eldrazi deck. Launch my Berserkers of Armies at people for 10 damage. But granted, I suck at this game in the way that I don't have $1000 to build a top tier deck.

Hey boogie I just recently opened a pack and it had a dark confidant foil in it. I have no use for it in my decks. It's worth around 75 and my local game shop is offering around 40. What would you recommend I do with the card?

+BlackRider Bob Elspeth, Sun's Champion was 6 mana, and only playable because of how incredibly powerful she was in the standard block for theros.
She's possibly one of the best standard walkers in recent history, and many decks chose not to bother splashing, or even running her, because of the 6 mana.

Did you ever get the Lord Of The Rings card game back in the mid 90's before the movies came out? They were the only ones I used to get, it fascinated me that it came as a solo player game as well.

Waiting on my pre-order Booster box, the darn weather def messed up shipping and such xP! Boogie, what do you think/make of the Eldrazi in comparison to the Phyrexians or even the Slivers? Personally I can NOT wait to return to New Phyrexia. Those Praetors are my favorites, love their storyline and personalities.

Is it hard to master/ really get a good grasp of strategies etc?
it's easy enough to learn how to play, but there is a big gap between being able to play and being a good player.

+Game Hound Well, yea. Just like videogames. You can get into a game pretty easily but to truly master it takes quite some time.
If you just started I'd say to just go and explore the possibilities of decks before going into making a deck. Orient in the world but stay away from Merfolks, Elves, Slivers and Eldrazi if you want to keep your friends :P
