I don't play magic. I don't have a console anymore. My pc sucks too bad to play everything but age of empires. But I watch all your videos boogie. It's really like sitting beside a best friend while he does it. And you've got me wanting to start playing again. So, love your vids..... Keep up the good work. One of the few examples of what's good still on the interweb.
The cool thing about magic is that its not really a video game. I mean sure, there's Magic online, but thats not the real thing imo. You can play the game irl, and its way better. Trust me, this game is amazing.

Asher Quirion Since you said "the best thing" about Magic, let me share "the worst thing", it is crazy expensive if you get into it. The OG said he is so poor that his computer can only play Empires. That would mean his computer is 7+ years old basically. You really think someone like that can get into Magic? Face it, magic is for people who are either high middle class or who have a spending problem.

I have never played magic, I don't plan on starting either but I have to say I just picked up a booster pack to open the other day for no other reason than because I absolutely love your vides. There is something so interesting/relaxing/enjoying about watching these unboxing videos. Keep up the good work!

I'm not really interested in Magic at all. Never played, not interested in ever getting into it. However, I'm always glad to see new videos from you, no matter what the topic! I usually play your videos while I'm working at my desk, so I kinda half watch and half listen. You're just good positive energy, so thanks for that! the devider is there so you can still use that deck box if you sleeve the cards. Sleeves are thin, but 60 sleeves are about as thick as that devider
I'd love to see you play with a friend (and explain things as you go, for people who don't play, like me), or maybe do a How To series for Magic (again, for people who want to live vicariously because they don't normally play).
Most of us experienced players do like the box itself (with the exception that the corners always split), But we really like the Dividers more than anything
I've never played Magic, but your videos always make me want to try. You should do a video of you and your friends running through a dummy game to teach how to play the game to a beginner!
I just watched this entire video and haven't the slightest care for Magic, but Boogie is just to great to skip any of his videos. Keep them coming my friend!
I really enjoy watching you unbox these just because it reminds me of Pokémon cards, Yu Gi Oh! cards, Duel Master cards, Digimon cards, etc. It makes me want to continue collecting Pokémon cards when I see these. It's also fun to watch you get mind blown and excited from getting good card or noticing the boxes being foiled. I'm sorry if it seems insulting to compare Magic to a bunch of other anime cards, but they all have something in common and that being they can be played with or simply collected.

You can fix auto-focus issues by turning off autofocus in the camera options built into OBS, setting the value to 14.5 is perfect
Personally I don't know much about gaming or magic cards. I most tune in to watch Francis get pissed and do funny shit. I also like a lot of the heart felt boogie talks about over coming adversity in life. That said I personally really wish the Francis skits would come out a lot more frequently, and with a bit more plot development, such as maybe a rival feud with a neighbor who also games, or something.

Oh man that goes to show you that opening the pack(s) is such a huge part of the fun in any TCG. I haven't played MTG for a long time and i still get exited seeing other people open packs xD!
The thing inside the boxes is so the cards won't love around when unopened, but the box is viable after sleeving up the cards
I don't play magic the gathering (I just like watching Boogie open cards) but the Khan Holiday Box is on sale on Amazon for about $17.
Demonic Tutor, the one from the old Demonic deck is $20 and most other versions are over $12 anyways. I love it in every EDH deck I have that runs black.
I remember getting Jayce. Think that was the last deck I bought before I moved on from Magic, kinda wish I would pick it up again. Good times. Thanks for sharing this with us, Boogie!

I like that anthology a lot more than the gift box. I feel like it's something every magic player would appreciate much more than the gift box.
to straighten your dividers ( very cheap WotC ) you need to bend them a bit more inward at the corners and i would put some deck boxes in the middle to relax them back to straight
Always loved duel decks for casual play because it's just that; casual. I don't want to use my $600 modern deck against someone who just started. What happens when one deck is overwhelmingly better? Nobody has fun, people call others' decks broken, and it's just not a good time.
These are designed to be balanced against each-other, and offers a different pace and feel to playing Magic than the faster-paced, finer-tuned, more concise strategies of Modern or even Standard.
You have no idea how OP Sagu Mauler is in a ramp deck Boogie. Getting it out turn 3 or 4 is really good!
Funny thing is, I don't even play MTG or have the time to, but I love watching these vids. Honestly I'd probably buy them just to collect them and look at them. That's what I did with YuGiOh. I never played I just liked the cards haha
would love to pick up the duel decks before the price skyrockets, but just can't drop that kind of money on myself this time of year. hopefully it does not go up to much in a month. great vid

I don't play Magic the Gathering. But, this anthology box set thing looks really really cool. Using it as like a board game is something i can see myself doing.
I'd love those Duel Decks. I don't play MTG anymore but I would use it like a board game like you suggested Boogie. Maybe after Xmas is over as I can't justify spending $100 on my self.
Pretty cool. Don't want to get into paper Magic though, once you're in it's a landslide of purchases and keeping up with the 'new stuff'. :P

The cardboard things in the deck boxes are a spacer so that the cards don't fly around inside the deck box.
I would just get some Velcro circle things to make those deck boxes better
I traded a foil Flooded Strand for an Anthology at my local store. Going to keep it in the box because I speculate it'll be worth a hell of a lot more than it's selling for ATM in a few years.

Hey boogie I have two very powerful decks that I had constructed over the years and they are my goblin deck and demon deck. Love to play these decks against opponents from time to time. I also had sparkled dice in the past as well. I'm glad magic had redistributed these items. This is awesome!

I know this video is old - but the "they put this in here" thing "I don't know what this is"... Is that not a spacer for the box so you can sleeve the cards and put them back into the deck boxes?

So as a father, and being 30 it seems a bit late to get into Magic but I did just that via o Magic 2014 & online co-op play, and I find it fantastic I love the strategy and enjoy the artwork on the cards. I never liked it as a kid, thought it was for dorks...little did I know I would grow up to be a computer super dork hahaha! and love all things like this!

Phyrexia vs coalition had a card that was on the reserved list in it and that is why they decided not to do that again.

I really liked the duel decks anthology box. i really want to get one. however it seemed that the bat tokens in the garruke deck should probably be used in the liliana deck instead. a little weird that they came in the garruke deck.

Just found out that for advanced warfare that if u have a Xbox u get the new DLC on 12-11-14 if your a season pass holder. But if u own a ps4 like I do and have a season pass u have to wait until next year. Wtf is up with that. U wouldn't happen to know why. It's good if you keep the original decks for matchmaking games.
You think that's bad, you should've seen those YGO tins. You got white strips of cardboard that connected and you had to fit it into the tin, to make the most ghetto deck box. Oh, and they included 50 of the cheapest sleeves ever.

I was never a fan of magic and I know absolutely nothing about it, but when I was younger, I was a huge pokemon fan. I used to love getting those tin boxes that had the awesome legendary art and shit on them and came with a few packs of cards. Good times. I probably had about a thousand cards. No idea where a single one of them is now. Probably worth some money I bet.

I don't play Magic but dang that box looks awesome. The art is fantastic and the detail they put into the packaging (foiling etc) was awesome. Makes me want to get the box just for the art.
The anthology is great, I am really happy I got one. Great for players who don't have a deck or to even the playing field when training new players. Plus the art is great!

I got news for you Boogie. What you are calling spin downs we in the D&D world call 20 siders or d20 and they have them in every size shape and description you can think of for years.
