1. how old are you? you act like a 5 year old whos never seen tv. 2. is this your first orgasm? why would anyone get so excited about a 30 year old tv show no watched when it was on. 3. theres something wrong with you. they have medicine for your issues - find it and take it
Did anybody ever think that maybe that disease that makes you go insane when you're old and it's not be able to control your emotions maybe that has something to do with suppressing your emotions your whole life maybe if instead of suppressing their emotions Vulcans learn to live with them they could control their emotions when they get older better
Why is an old man with emotional problems laying on such a narrow bed when he probably have a wider bed with rails on it so he doesn't fall out when he's thrashing around
The one we've bee waiting for and it did not disappoint. Glad that wasn't spoiled and loved the breathless anticipation during the opening until Jen saw Leonard's name. Jen is the best!!
AGREED.I was also fan boying about finally seeing Romulus and the people on Romulus.Plus, this episode had-KLINGONS. Q'Pla !!! LOL. Today is a GOOD day to die.
When the episode first aired in 1991, I think nearly everyone new Spock was going to be on the show. Spock's appearance was heavily promoted in advance. As a result, Unification parts 1 and 2 were the most watched episodes of season 5.
What's the title of the DS9 episode he wrote in which he played Sisko son as an adult? that's the most beautiful, emotionally powerful in all of Star Trek. He was truly a talented artist
It is so heartbreaking to see Sarek in such a diminished condition. Props to Mark Lenard for his portrayal of a man in the last stages of physical decline.
Would have to put Jeffrey Combs at number one. But Mark is an easy second. The absolute gravitas he brings to every moment of his time on screen, is like the distant thunder heralding a storm. You feel it in your bones.
"Oh god, we're the good guys in a Klingon cloaked ship, this is so cool!" - you are literally the definition of a star trek fan. The excitement in that sentence is just what makes a true star trek fan and was my exact reaction when I watched it as a teen. You're AWESOME.
The hype surrounding this two-parter; at the time in 1991, was legitimately real. It was (at the time) the 25th Anniversary of the Star Trek franchise, Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country was about a few weeks away from release, and you have this crossover. It was also the highest viewed episode in all of TNG’s history.
R.I.P. Tony Todd (1954-2024) He played multiple characters during the TNG era...most notably Klingon Kurn in both TNG and DS9. And a Delta quadrant species in Voyager. After this week, the DS9 Season 4 episode 3 gonna hit a little more harder in the feels dept.
Catching Leonard Nimoy's name in the credits is about the most excited I've ever seen Jen. That? Was adorable. "I don't know if he's going to be able to sleep. Maybe he could gently rub his back."
Jen, ever since You'd began Your TNG Journey, this has always been the Episode that I was Most Excited for, and the Most Anxious for You to get to!😅Congratulations on making this far, and Thank You so much for sharing this one with all of us here today!👍
Jen, I haven't seen you so excited, except briefly, for quite some time. Your "Is it Spock?!" starts it off in a big way. This one has plenty to get excited about and you just chewed the reaction scenery like a monster! Great go!
@5:11 You are welcome Jen. I am also glad that none of us spoiled it for you. I think we have all been sitting on pins & needles waiting for you to get to this two-part story.
Just like you, I'm so glad this episode was not spoiled for you. Your reaction to seeing Spock is just like the old MasterCard commercial ... priceless. Your excitement really IS contagious.
It's quite fun watching this. Same feelings we all had 30 some years ago. The collective gasp we all had when seeing Spock's image on the display. Remarkable. Jen bouncing out of frame over and over from excitement, lmao!
As someone who doesn't really care about being spoiled (and often goes out of my way to find spoilers) seeing you so happy at being surprised was enlightening.
That thumbnail says it all about whom she was reacting to. But the short of breath fan girling that actually occurred with both Spock and Sela was all we trekkers could have hoped for and so much more. So glad no one told her about either of the reveals she was in for in this episode.
Jen your excitement finding out Spoke 🖖is in this episode was awesome. It definitely improved my mood. Unfortunately the US on Nov 5th did something Spoke would find very very ILLOGICAL.
RIP Gene & Majel, and Mark (and Tony Todd). ♥ That. "SHUT UP!" You nailed it, Jen. We were all jumping up and down screaming in our livingrooms, squealing, shrieking, whooping in excitement. 🤣
You are a bright shining light amongst the internet. Your reaction to Spock had me laughing at the energy you ramped up to and continued to have throughout. Commercial break!
Jens TNG reactions are the highlight of my Sundays ...... What can make them even better? - Jen adorably fangirling so much over Spock to the point she might actually pass out!! 🤣🤣❤❤
This two-parter was broadcast just before the release of the movie “Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country,” which it directly references (mostly in the second part).
You can imagine the absolute joy many of us felt back when this first aired. First we heard the sound of his instantly recognizable voice then finally see him coming out of the shadows. We knew it was coming but it still gave us chills.
Next Jen Sunday!!!! I've been waiting for you to get to these episodes and boom...... here you and we are!!!! When I first saw this episode when it aired, I freakin' lost it (in a good way)! I shouted some expletives (again in a good way) because I couldn't believe that Mr. Spock was on ST:TNG (the goosebumps stayed with me for a bit)!!!!! Mark Leonard as Sarak put in an amazing performance, you really feel his love and pain. And when the episode started and we learned about Gene Roddenberry's passing, I teared up and still do to this day. Well, onward to "Unification Part 2". Many blessings to you and yours.
Jen , you nearly broke my ear drums with that last EEEEEE . But if that is the last sound I hear it was worth it to see how excited and happy you were . Another banger from the fabulous Ms. M ! Thanks , so , so much !
Loved your reaction as you realised Spock is in it. I bet you are so glad that this is the first of the two episodes. If it had been the second one you recorded, leaving it on this cliffhanger would not have been easy for you. I know that's how it was on first broadcast, i'm glad i was late getting into this show, so i could just binge watch.
You don't know what it is like to see this episode through fresh eyes. When I saw this episode it was hyped as "Spock on Next Generation". When I see your reaction, it is priceless.
At a convention, Leonard was asked if he'd ever make an appearance in TNG. He admitted that they had already approached him to reprise Spock... and he had accepted. The crowd went frickin' nuts. His participation in TNG helped heal a rift between die hard fans of the original series, and the fans of TNG. I wish there were more Trek reactions, moments like this opening would be a highlight.

To see Sarek like that, hurt bad. But then Spock!!!
Best part is 'Data' looming over the bed, then slowly turning maintaining eye contact...😂 Ain't nobody gonna be sleeping now.....😂
“That looks like Spock.”
BEST. REACTION. EVER.
The one we've bee waiting for and it did not disappoint. Glad that wasn't spoiled and loved the breathless anticipation during the opening until Jen saw Leonard's name.
Jen is the best!!
I love how Jen's head was about to explode because of Leonard Nemoy playing Spock. It was a similar thing when they showed the episode the first time.
That was a quality wheeze.
Jen's reaction to Spock was literally all of us when this episode first aired on TV back when TV was a thing. So good!
AGREED.I was also fan boying about finally seeing Romulus and the people on Romulus.Plus, this episode had-KLINGONS. Q'Pla !!! LOL. Today is a GOOD day to die.

100% !!
R.I.P. Tony Todd. 😔❤️
I knew him best from Candyman (the original), then I saw him in some of his later works. He was a great actor. RIP
Rest in peace Kurn, son of Mogh.
Aw man, I hadn't heard about that ! RIP indeed.
What's the title of the DS9 episode he wrote in which he played Sisko son as an adult?
that's the most beautiful, emotionally powerful in all of Star Trek. He was truly a talented artist
@JulioLeonFandinho "The Visitor" (season 4 episode 2)
Jen, you do not understand the joy it brings me to see you fangirl over Spock. Makes me feel like a kid again!
Sarek when the walls fell. Picard his eyes wet.
That’s beautiful, man.
Spock and Picard on Romulus.
Kurn went to Sto-Vo-Kor Thursday! 😢
Picard and Data by the... shelf.
Troi, seeing the eel.
I...I...I...I...love Jen's reaction. She's so excited.
"I'll show you my eel." That's...um... quite the pickup line. 😅
Naturally, it's a 14 footer.
Normally, this would get your face slapped.
I showed you my eel, pls respond
@@garycameron8167 Now this response made me think of Monty Python's fish slapping dance.
It is so heartbreaking to see Sarek in such a diminished condition. Props to Mark Lenard for his portrayal of a man in the last stages of physical decline.
It's possible he's my favorite single actor in all of Trek, and that's some seriously rarified air.
Would have to put Jeffrey Combs at number one. But Mark is an easy second. The absolute gravitas he brings to every moment of his time on screen, is like the distant thunder heralding a storm. You feel it in your bones.
@2:50 "They cover her offensive human ears."
That's a good observation.
I love seeing someone realize how cool these episodes are for the first time.
Nostalgia recaptured. And they said it wasnt possible to go home.
00:57 Jen did the "Picard Maneuver"! (What do the kids say? "If you know you know"?)
The Klingon Captain was so cranky because they took his Red Stapler.
Nice. Love Stephen Root.
@@tackysum 😉🖖
I could just burn the Klingon cruiser down…
"They put Salt on my Margarita and I said NO Salt, NO Salt."
"Pínche Gringo..." 😄🍹
He could see the targs, and they were married.
Senator Pardek was played by actor Malachi Throne, who also played Commodore Jóse Mendez from Starbase 11 in the TOS Episode "The Menagerie".
Jen's joy and excitement at seeing Spock warms my heart.
"Oh god, we're the good guys in a Klingon cloaked ship, this is so cool!" - you are literally the definition of a star trek fan. The excitement in that sentence is just what makes a true star trek fan and was my exact reaction when I watched it as a teen. You're AWESOME.
Your reaction to Spock was legendary😂❤ This alone made my sunday...Star Trek sunday! 🖖🥳
"I'll show you my eel." 😄. Jen!
That, and the freakout over Spock made my day ☺
I met Mark Lenord at a Star Trek convention 30 years ago he was great
“OMG, omg, omg, omg” 😂😂😂 perfect reaction, Jen!
The hype surrounding this two-parter; at the time in 1991, was legitimately real. @jarrodnewman0514, And his outstanding portrayal of Fleet Admiral Ramirez in Prelude To Axanar.
I can hear this thumbnail. Jen leaping up out of her seat... "IT'S SPOCKKKKK!"
Jen, when Spock was shown.
15:21 So nerdy cute!!! Imagine seeing Spock for one second and then having to wait a week to find out what happens!
As a huge fan of Newsradio, Stephen Root as the klingon captain was one of my favorite cameos ever.
Just don’t take his stapler. IYKYK
Catching Leonard Nimoy's name in the credits is about the most excited I've ever seen Jen. That? Was adorable.
"I don't know if he's going to be able to sleep. Maybe he could gently rub his back."

here today!👍
Jen, I haven't seen you so excited, except briefly, for quite some time. Your "Is it Spock?!" starts it off in a big way. This one has plenty to get excited about and you just chewed the reaction scenery like a monster! Great go!
That Picard and Data bunk scene was hilarious; just make Data creepy without even trying
Watching Jen fangirl over Spock is the best thing I’ve seen all week. 😂
@5:11 You are welcome Jen.
"What do you know of this human, Jean-Luc Picard, a Starfleet captain?"
"He's the Best Captain Ever!" 😊
Was waiting for this reaction. Jen did not disappoint. Her giddiness when Spock pop up was infectious and adorable.
Brilliant comedy between Picard and Data in this episode; a genuine delight. 😂
Rip Tony "kurn" todd. May you enter the gates of sto vo kor with honor.
*klingon death-howl intensifies*
"That looks like furricking Spock" best reaction quote this year!
lol your reaction when Spock appeared at the start…. Jen is precious. We must protect her at all costs!
"Maybe he can gently rub his back"
Jen is getting into Star Trek fan fic now.
It's quite fun watching this. Same feelings we all had 30 some years ago. The collective gasp we all had when seeing Spock's image on the display. Remarkable. Jen bouncing out of frame over and over from excitement, lmao!
your giddy enthusiasm for this episode is EVERYTHING GOOD about your channel! 😁 thank you for sharing the excitement! 👍☺
Aww Jen's excitement gushing over the return of Spock - cute! 😊Great reaction and looking good Commander Jen - I like the hair! 👍

Picard at 6:35. "A MESSAGE???"
Always loved Stewart's delivery on that one. 🖤
RIP Gene & Majel, and Mark (and Tony Todd). ♥
That. "SHUT UP!" You nailed it, Jen. We were all jumping up and down screaming in our livingrooms, squealing, shrieking, whooping in excitement. 🤣
She watches these and reacts just like we did back in the 90's, and I'm here for it. "OMG! OMG! OMG! It's Spock!" 🤣
You are a bright shining light amongst the internet. Your reaction to Spock had me laughing at the energy you ramped up to and continued to have throughout. Commercial break!
You've seen Dr. Ambassador McCoy in the pilot episode, Sarek, and now Spock. The TNG show writers really did spoil us! Your reaction was perfection!
Jens TNG reactions are the highlight of my Sundays ......
What can make them even better? - Jen adorably fangirling so much over Spock to the point she might actually pass out!! 🤣🤣❤❤
1:53 “That looks like freakin Spock”
and today we even get the whole episode in one go ^^
Couldn't have hoped for a better reaction to Spock's appearance - thanks just for being you Jen :).
"okayokayokay... next episode!" Best outro ever.
"And they will have our gratitud..." one of the best lines, but still a little short from "be somewhere else" from babylon 5.
Love the excitement. You've come so far in the Trekkie world this past year Jen!
This two-parter was broadcast just before the release of the movie “Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country,” which it directly references (mostly in the second part).
When it first aired I had to wait the whole winter vacation before seeing pt2. It was so frustrating!
Fetching as ever in that Starfleet uniform, Lieutenant Commander Murray. 🖖 xxxx
Best. Reaction. Ever ! Love that you were SO Excited by That Reveal 😮 ("Leonard Nimoy as Spock ! Frig off !! Eeeeeeeee !!!") Bless ya 😊
You can imagine the absolute joy many of us felt back when this first aired. First we heard the sound of his instantly recognizable voice then finally see him coming out of the shadows. We knew it was coming but it still gave us chills.
Your excitement at seeing Spock was both hilarious and adorable. ❤
The 'and then they would have our gratitude' line shows how truly BA Picard was.
Oh my goodness I don't think I have ever seen Jen so excited. Happy to watch this reaction with her.
Bonus comment - - the klingon captain is Stephen Root, Milton from office space
Both roles that it's perfectly believable when they say they'll set the building on fire.
Jen, in 1991, when this came out, I was 13! I had the same reaction back then that you did 🙂
The way Jen spazzes out at seeing Spock is just another reason why she makes me so much the Smitten Kitten. 🤣😻
Your reaction mirrors ours when this first aired…. Love it.
I've have been waiting for this reaction since the start of your Season 1 reactions. Did not disappoint at all. Loved it.
Thanks bradley! It was so sad seeing Sarek 😢 Seeing Spock was amazing tho! 🖖☺️
I think there should be a nerdgasm count for this episode 😂
Fantastic reaction. your joy over seeing Sock is awesome 🖖
Today Jen nearly has a heart attack when she sees SPOCK!!! Remember to breathe, calm deep breathes even after a shock. 😀
RIP, Tony Todd, 1954-2024.
Jen , you nearly broke my ear drums with that last EEEEEE . But if that is the last sound I hear it was worth it to see how excited and happy you were . Another banger from the fabulous Ms. M ! Thanks , so , so much !
Nicely said, Lou!
Loved your reaction as you realised Spock is in it. I bet you are so glad that this is the first of the two episodes. I know that's how it was on first broadcast, i'm glad i was late getting into this show, so i could just binge watch.
when you get a wheeze in the first two minutes you know it's going to be a great reaction
0:51 to 1:39 one of the reactions we've all been waiting for! ❤
I think you set a TH-cam record for most "OhMyGod"s in one video. 🖖
I love your reaction at 0:53! 😅😅
when you realized it was Sprok in the opening scene was delightful. Thank you for not passing out
Unification was/is so awesome for those of us who grew up watching TOS reruns.
On top of seeing Sarek and Spock, it was dedicated to Gene.
📺 🖖🏻 💓
You were just as happy to see Spock as we all were when this first aired! So glad it wasn't spoiled for you. 😊 No time to waste ... onto part 2! 😁
I remember the promos. _"SPOCK, on an _*_all new_*_ episode of Star Trek: The _*_Next_*_ Generation!"_
"That looks like freakin Spock........SHUT UP!!!!"♥
I read that sarek passing was a tribute to gene roddenbury and his passing. They both meant so much to star trek.
I hit the thumbs up button before I watched it. I already knew this would be awesome 🖖
I won't lie, I've been looking forward to see your reaction on these two episodes for months. 🖖I'm not disappointed 🙂
The surprise. The excitement. The return of some classic Jen gibberish noises haha. Brilliant stuff
You don't know what it is like to see this episode through fresh eyes. When I saw this episode it was hyped as "Spock on Next Generation". When I see your reaction, it is priceless.
Sarek, when the walls fell. Spock, when he knew his fathers love.
Gosh, Leonard's not even around anymore, and I'm jealous that Jen is freaking out over him!
You said the best captain ever without meeting Sisko. Don't worry, he'll make your toes tingle with joy.
My captain was, is, and always will be Janeway.
I think in a captain contest, I'm going to have to venture outside of the Star Trek universe and nominate a certain John J. Sheridan as #1.
Hi Jen hope you are having an great and awesome day ❤
I've been waiting for the reaction to this ep, Jen seeing Spock. Better than I thought it would be.🖖
Seeing you so excited to see Spock has made my week! I think you have a captain's jacket problem LOL
Office Space Milton Waddams the Klingon

These two episodes I remember so well I think I was as shocked as you were when I first saw them enjoy Jenny.
I lost it when this episode first aired.Spock's entrance.
