Wizardry is the grandaddy of a lot of popular series, most prominently the Soulsborne series by way of King's Field, the first title of which was basically a remake of the first Wizardry and SMT/Persona/Pokemon which were heavily inspired by Wizardry 4.

Great video, not a fun game. I tried so hard to like this but when I finally got a decent level 4-5 party going, I made it to murphy's ghost and just quit forever.
