  • Todays video i wanted to document my process of building my custom splitter with connecting rods for cheap! literally will save you hundreds if you were to buy one off the shelf and it looks basically just as good!
    hope this motivates you guys to do something similar to your vehicles and save yourselves precious money that could be spent elsewhere.
    This perfectly encompasses my desire to show other people that you don't have to spend a ton of money to make things happen and that anyone can do it!
    Lets save some money and make our cars look awesome!!
    Looking forward to 2021, hoping all of your families are safe and well going into this new year.
    All Love, Seth

    The bigger mouth for the intercooler is spot on but I'd definitely consider black mesh too. A protection layer for the intercooler.

      I wouldn't worry much if its a track or show car but if he daily's this thing, yeah definitely.

    Wonderful work. How has it held since the install, are there chips in the paint etc? I didn't see you sand down the pvc board that's why I ask.

      @SmplBuilds  3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Thank you! No need to sand it, would just make sanding marks, held up good so far! Minor paint chips but that was to be expected. Overall really happy w it.

    I recommend to use bold plastic sheet instead of plexiglass which can be break in pieces after hit a leaf 😁

      One good thing about that though is that when you finally snag that thing on something it will break before the bumper gets ripped off.

    When you cut away the front to expose your intercooler, how did you clean that up? Just paint? Or did you fill the holes with something?
