I have a big gut and already tried appendix carry and it absolutely does not work for me but carrying at my 2:45 works out perfect. It's super comfortable, and my gut actually hangs over the back of the grip and slide which helps drape my shirt over it so the gun has absolutely no contact with my shirt thus no printing, not even when I bend over or reach for something up high. It may not allow for quite as fast as a draw as if you appendix carry, but I've done a good of practicing and I think I draw it plenty fast.
Remember when you asked me why you might want to upload your videos somewhere else, @@CarryTrainer? I have no idea what is involved in actually doing that. I'm just some old guy. But I did do quite a lot of IT work in the past and I know one or two things about computers. Maybe I would be able to help you. Dunno. Don't think I'm trying to be ungrateful. I kinda think that the long and the short of this is that these things are tools that aren't meant to be harmless. It's human error that causes these kinds of things to happen. Carelessness is not a good combination with a dangerous tool whether it's a gun or a table saw. (Yes, table saws will definitely kill you if you're careless.) I have been trying to drive that kind of lesson into my kids for years. It's a wonder any of us survive our teenage years. Great video.
Thanks. I’ve been carrying for a little over 2 years. Appendix is the only position I’ve even considered. I try to watch everything I can on the subject so I can pick up tips or be reminded of safe practices. I admit, I need to practice my draw a lot more. Can’t get too complacent.
The truth can be a very scary thing and reality even more gruesome. If people knew about the violence that actually happens around where they live, they would be scared to go out and about in fear of any violence. Safety is no accident!
@CarryTrainer WOW TH-cam deleted your video for that. That's pretty petty. All your videos are informative, sometimes even though provoking. Good stuff. Don't let the Google platform hold back truth and helpful information.
@CarryTrainer I mean with a quality handgun with no manual safety and a quality holster and the handgun is loaded and is there a chance that it could still be considered dangerous in the holster if edc? If not, why not and if so, when would it be considered dangerous? Is there a chance that something could still go wrong when the handgun is in the holster or do you just have to be very careful when putting it back in? If everything is considered good does it even matter when the gun is (flagging) pointed at yourself in that holster?
@froglord1559 to the best of my knowledge there is nothing man-made that is 100% fail proof. Hence the layers of protection. There are some striker fired handguns for example that when cocked are the strikers are storing all the energy needed to fire, the trigger only releases the energy Whereas some others such as Glock are only partially cocked and the trigger press pulls the striker back farther. The Kahr pistol is an example of a Double action. Their website has a cool video of how it works.
Think about the rules of firearms safety. Now you need to think about that particular rule about pointing the gun in a safe direction. You be the judge. If you have the body type, technique, holster, pistol, etc. where the gun is NOT pointed in an unsafe direction (e.g. a body part for those who value it), then good for you. To be clear, I am not referring to where the gun is pointed when your hand is not touching it i.e. IN the holster.
Practice yoga in order to holster without possibly pointing a pistol at your foot. How about keep your finger off the trigger until shooting the pistol and all the other dumb shit is mute
@ after I watched the video yesterday it made a lot more sense especially seeing it demonstrated. Unfortunately when I try and carry appendix my belly makes me print like I’m happy to see ya and I’m not over weight by any means. I have read that you need to go up one size in pants waist too but haven’t tried that yet.
It is weird. I watched the original one and I just liked the reupload. Thanks for serving the community.
Thanks for re-posting. I didn't get a chance to watch it earlier, but was planning to.
Thanks for being determined or stubborn, either way your efforts are appreciated.
We realize that the videos are a labor of love for you Mick. I APPRECIATE and am thankful for the education.

Why was it deleted? Liked it already, again
I believe because of the blood in a 4 second image

Thank you for sharing. 👍
Ok, I'll watch again.
Watched the original; you can also post in the platform that rhymes with humble.
Get me more time

There's only a need to come out of the holster quickly, no need to rush going back in the holster.
Good stuff, like always sir!
Thank you

I fuckin love this channel and needed to hear this ! Need to slow down, be more deliberate and dominate the muzzle and trigger.
Ok, so I'm not going crazy.

Thanks!
Very good Lesson

Why was this deleted? I saw the original and you used a blue training gun. I’m sure they’ll delete this because you posted and not an “archiver”
I think it was the injury we showed
I was one who pointed out the safety issue, but I never told TH-cam. Censorship hurts truth.
What?
So, what’s the “safety issue” you see in the original? Real curious to hear what you think.
@@FD_Boss yeah me too

Watched it thr first time, ill watch it again since TH-cam wants to play games
It's self-evident that appendix carry is a bad idea. For all the reasons already discussed a half million times, or so.
Nanny state insanity
probably the unblurred image of the leg shot but other than that idk youtube be weird
Glad I watch the video before it got canceled... and reedited
Only thing I did was blur that wound

I watched the first one, I'll watch this one too. Its a good vid.
That’s why triggers with safety on them are not safe. Imagine if AR had them like Glock. I prefer a thumb safety.
Is flagging yourself with a handgun in a holster fine or is it considered huge red flag and if it's fine when would it be considered not okay?
Ask that another way

Here I thought your way of phrasing it on the range is Dick to the wind, makes me laugh every time, but makes you think about being safe.
