It's true - prepare for the worst. I lived through the 1989 Loma Prieta that knocked out the power for almost a week at my parent's house. I had just graduated from University & was living with them while I started my life. The next day we tried to find the basics in a grocery store two towns over because Los Gatos was so thrashed. Good thing my mom hoarded cash because no credit cards. no Apple Wallet that you tap. And if you have canned food, have a manual can opener.
I have an older Smith & Wesson model 66 .357 Magnum, 4 inch barrel and I love it. But I don't know if I'd want a new one, they're just not made the same with those sleeved barrels. Then, I've never tried one so someone else here may have more information on those. I also have a Ruger GP-100 .357 Magnum with 4 inch barrel. I would trust that gun to outlive my grandchildren. Definitely more rugged than my S&W.
Good stuff. I am no firearm expert, but some good knowledge and thoughts. We all learn more sharing ideas. You are well stocked with semi autos and probably ammo to match. Have you concidered a revolver such as a 357/38, that can accomodate 9mm as well with moon clips or a cylinder change? And......as far as a semi-auto coming out of battery when pressed against something...... I have seen things like the Radian Ramjet compensater on a G-19, which is an end of barrel/muzzle comp, as opposed to slide and barrel cut, mitigating that issue. Granted, cost prohibitive to put on everything, but you can designate one for that type of set up. There are also frame mounted impact/standoff devices, that mount to frame rails for contact shooting that help prevent out of battery issues, and you get to retain your semi-auto capacity. Much less cost that the radian, but now the rail is occupied. Many times a light on the rail helps. Thanks for the tips you had, I had not concidered. Stay safe ! Demcad, revolvers are fun as heck to shoot. Shooting .38 special out of .357 magnum pistol is cheap and easy. revolvers have their own great advantages, but big thing is how fun they are.
In referance to your revolver question. I do love my S&Ws. If you want to shoot a steady diet of magnum through it, get an L frame (686). Ruger GP-100s are a good option as well. Now that CZG owns Colt, they are once again making revolvers, but I have no first hand experiance with the new Colts.
Put light coat of white grease on all moving parts in your AK including trigger pins. All metal to metal contact causing friction. Your trigger will feel smoother. It’s better than gun oil. I have over 50 magazines 15,17,and 33rd for my 3 Glock 9mm. I put my G17 in a MCK CAA kit with a red dot. I seen an improvement in handling and accuracy. (It make a short carbine ) I carry G19 or 26 on my pocket or hip.
Get a smith and Wesson governor you can still use your 45 acp and in a pinch you can use 410 or 45 long colt and they have caliber adapters to let you use pretty much any caliber in it
Any semi-auto that you are worried about getting knocked out of battery, put a WML on it. One that extends past the end of the slide. Something like a Surefire X300.
RUGER SP101 or GP100. Check out Wiley Clapp & TALO edition. I’ve been more into revolvers in past 8-10 years as striker plastic crap getting old. I did buy the Kimber K6s 2” last yr too. Work of art.
Just got a shipment of rechargeable batteries for different devices and a battery charger that can be used with solar panels. If the grid goes down I will have recharagable batteries to run my devices. I should not have to buy batteries for a lifetime. Plan to get a 500 gallon water tank sometime next year.
my guy is still rocking 45 acp with irons, you think he’s gonna modernize his AK with a red dot? 😆 he stuck old school and there’s nothing wrong with that if that’s his thing
All due respect DEMCAD, but at this point these videos are just sad. My man is in his forties and has no wife/kids to speak of? That's all good and well if that's what you want, but this man has no furniture and a very sad looking home. He's been prepping for years for scenarios that will most likely never happen. Thousands of rounds of ammo, cases of water bottles and everything else a prepper may need to feel comfortable, but soon DEMCAD will be 50, then 60, then 80 years old with what to show? Educating the masses of prepping? While DEMCAD is living this type of life, the majority of his listeners have families, spouses, furniture...lol. We are building something. DEMCAD, I'm praying that you have a life beyond this. Listen to me, you'll never be ready when the aliens come or China invades us or there's a second civil war. People that can adapt survive, those who can't don't. It's quite simple. Since you cannot control any possible scenario, I hope you get out and have a life.
I get what your saying. But there are videos of him traveling, going to concerts, movies, ect.....and mgtow is a worldwide movement at this point. Think the main thing to remember is, his channel is a prepping channel. Just how you go to workout channels and it's strictly gym related. Or Hickok 45 nothing but firearm related. Doesn't mean they're not doing anything else.. But I get what your saying tho
@@drewmoore365 this is very true, but I too hope the man has more to life than just prepping. At the end of the day, us preppers are trying to save or at least preserve something (family, kids, something that we can pass down). Life is or should be about experiences. Without having those really important things, what's the point in prepping in the first place? What is DEMCAD trying to save beyond himself? So I get both of your points.
@@DEMCAD Very true and well said; by the way, I don't think he was critical of your life. I think he wanted to ensure and hope that you had something more in your life outside of prepping for things that are out of your control.
Damn you’re one of the OG gun/prepper TH-camrs so glad you’re still at it
Right, this was recommended in my feed and I was like shit, I remember watching this dude in like 2012
Am I the only one questioning the wisdom of having both Trump and Vance appear at the same event (Army-Navy football game)?
Nope! It's not a good move, and I thought they were already making sure not to do this...
No, it's concerning.
Trump hasn’t lead by fear. Nor should he now. Dude, has been showing up at UFC and college football games. Gotta trust in God on this one.
You should, G - 👀 - gle
You are not the only one… Pray for the safety of those that are trying to do good in this world.
I appreciate your work sir.

Dude, you’re an Adonis. Well done.
Just came back after a while and you’re half the man you were. 👏👏👏
Oh, and ….FIRST
Ruger GP100 or SP101 is what you want. Both are tanks, reliable and will outlast you!!
Agreed love my GP100 4” barrel.
I have an SP101 and darn I’ll say it’s a monster. Thor’s Hammer I hope I don’t have to hit someone with that .357
I have tarus 357 605 2” I love it!
Yes Sir, I think you have the Proper View... Glad to hear from YOU :)
MAGA :)),THANKS!!!!

New Diamondbacks.357 looks sweet
Get a 3 inch Chiappa Rhino. Demcad, 357 is a great caliber.
Drones have also recently been reported along the TX Gulf Coast and Houston ship channel, LOTS of petroleum industry in that area
Lets take a moment to acknowledge what great shape you’re in now. Incredible work Demcad. How are you feeling?
Thanks for doing a good job reporting

Gp100 is what you want....... stronger than smith's, and more simple construction
I'll ;look into the Gp100.
Hey Demcad! I have a Ruger GP100 revolver chambered in .357! It’s a great gun. S&W 686 plus is also a nice wheel gun.
The future belongs to those who run from their problems today.
Demcad, revolvers are fun as heck to shoot. Shooting .38 special out of .357 magnum pistol is cheap and easy. revolvers have their own great advantages, but big thing is how fun they are.
Demcad Ruger GP 100 is worth the buy love it!!!
I like 9mm. I've heard that any benefit gained from .45 ACPs larger round is mitigated by the reduced magazine capacity.
I live in eastern PA and they’re over my house the last two nights. In near the Lehigh, carbon, Northampton county area.

Go for a Colt King Cobra or a S&W Model 19 Carry Comp

Rechargable batteries don't last forever
TAKE YOUR MEDS AND CHILL
Wich holster do you have or prefer for the Glock 17?
You bought a California version of the cz75b. It should come with 16 round mags.
It's a CZ-97 B.
@DEMCAD My bad.
I think I said the wrong model.
Best defense, is not to be there.
Smith and wesson governor.
I heard one of the drones crashed. I think it might be just a decoy. Crashing one just to satisfy everyones curiosity.
demcad, have you considered dating?
I highly doubt it.
When are you going to modernize your AKs? Try the ultimak and a red dot. It will change your life

Ruger>S&W at the moment. Smith is putting out some crap lately, besides Ruger has better customer service too.
Yes but the end point is death.
Glock 19 for me but you do you
