he should sell the album first 2 weeks then stream. Bro I ain't paying 20$ for an album with 70$ postage international attached an plus who has CD players anymore. Dudes gotta do what Jay z did with tidal if u want to change anything cause streaming/convenience is the future
back in the day I would pay 30$ an album an 80$ to go to a live gig. now I pay 15$ a month for Spotify but I pay 220$ + for gigs now. streaming takes money of the front but artists get it back with these new inflated gig prices
i understand that but i don’t think most artist can even tour. it’s a select few that can have fans actually come out. and the most part the record companies have they hand in that too. it’s a lose, lose situation.
@@lifeastatum all artists get screwed on their first deal, but I'm speaking Kanye's decision to do this. Another reason he shouldn't he owns the masters to what he makes now so you want it to be in the public zeitgeist become as popular as possible. Making your owned masters more valuable in coming years
@@tebonetethat’s great in theory. but the facts are even with owning the masters the streaming service pay s*** which is the real issue. the messed up part is there’s really no other options to fight that norm. but i appreciate the effort.
good shit bro, the video got me rethinking the whole thing
i appreciate that. his way may not be the solution but it atleast starts a conversation.
