This is the most comfortable I have ever seen Eminem in an interview. Mike understands his story and empathizes without judgement, the energy doesn't lie. Em actually wanted to be there and keep talking, hopefully we see a pt 2 soon. Two brilliant people having a great conversation, love it!

I've been an Eminem fan since age 11 I'm now 32 and I've watched countless interviews and this is the first time I've seen him this open with his guard completely down. You can tell how homered he felt in Mike Tyson's presence it just felt more like two friends talking about life than an interview. Beautiful thing to see.

Oh he was always humble, just insecure like the rest of us. He just said crazy stuff cuz of his insecurity about being loved. He had to go through the wilderness to finally love himself. Em and Mike have something in common, they both lost people who directed them, Cus and Big Proof. When Proof got killed, thar hurt me a lot. I don't really know much about boxing, I've learned a little more from my husband because he got into it a few years ago. I was just a small child when the holyfield drama with Mike went down and that was the first and only thing I knew of him, really. It wasn't until my husband started listing off Mike's accomplishments that I realized the dude wasn't some little pop culture moment, that the dude is a literal God in his field. Oh he was always humble, just insecure like the rest of us. He just said crazy stuff cuz of his insecurity about being loved. He had to go through the wilderness to finally love himself. Em and Mike have something in common, they both lost people who directed them, Cus and Big Proof. When Proof got killed, thar hurt me a lot. I still listen to Proof's Kurt Cobaine track and Forgive Me feat 50 Cent. Who and what you lose will make you stronger. God allows that cuz we he wants warriors to fight for the broken souls. Fun fact is that Em went to church privately after he lost Proof to gun violence stemming from a highschool beef. They both dropped out of school too. Em knows how it is to be deprived of resources despite of being white. The world didn't give him shit, he had to take it by force by forcing himself. I had to be a dishwasher just like Em but still fought obtained my career in art...graphic design and animation. I thought these nerds not gonna fuck with me but they adored me. Took me til 24 (now) to love myself, especially when women said I'm handsome. Humans can be a blessing and a burden ALL IN ONE

I don't really know much about boxing, I've learned a little more from my husband because he got into it a few years ago. I was just a small child when the holyfield drama with Mike went down and that was the first and only thing I knew of him, really. It wasn't until my husband started listing off Mike's accomplishments that I realized the dude wasn't some little pop culture moment, that the dude is a literal God in his field. Seeing Em react like this makes me realize how dirty the media did Mike in the 90s. He was a joke outside of the boxing community and it's a real shame.
