Just a minor point when looking round I was wondering if the rear axel is fitted correctly I thought they are suppose to be angle slightly to take the strain of the prop UJ
I need to check the manual, I know that you cant change the angle of the axle due to the mounting points. But you do have a good point, I know there are a few changes that can be made to help the performance. Maybe I can make a video of that.
chris redding on the rerelease model I believe the axel it mounted so the propshaft connections is angle up ten degrees might be a mod to improve reliability haven’t seen the original instructions there is also marking under the shackles to help align this www.tamiya.com/english/rc/rcmanual/58519.pdf
Nice build. i have had two of these in my life wouldn’t trade it for the world.
Thank you, they are pieces of art.
Beautiful! This was the Holy Grail RC car when I was a kid. I heard about it but never saw one in person. Still impressive today! Well done!

Lovely example :D Good that you have the re re too, so you don't spoil her old bones.
Thank you!!
nice review, is the sleeper cab required for assembly? , i would like it without, does it cover stuff up back there?
The new kit has the sleep separate, so you can do the Mountaineer look. I also have that kit!
@@redjones nice- that long bed on the short cab would look nice, they made a long bed way back when, although fewer, i think
Most shocking part is that you have that battery
You never made a video discussing the differences between the original and re-release ?
I need to!!!

Teh-Mai-Yaa...my foot.. Learn to pronounce words properly. Not everything in this world is English.
This pronunciation was accepted early on and even used by the company itself in its videos and TV ads. The alternate pronunciation came later.
Nope, never did hear any ads that pronounced it Tah-Mai-yah. Don’t care what anyone says, it’s Tah-Mee-yah!!!
