I’ve been wondering for the last few weeks why my phone case’s screen protector wasn’t fitting right. Took off the case and saw that bulging screen. Thank god it isn’t anything insane.
@Simmer Down i think this was just a problem with the 6 series; i haven't heard of any other models having this serious issue. it's kinda like the ford pintos that exploded lol
like yeah it can sometimes happen to other models and stuff like this happens with all sorts of phones, just the iphone 6 series had a bunch of flaws for some reason
This might be my problem too. My phone is opening in the exact same spot and I believe it’s batter because whenever I try to press and close the frame, it just won’t even touch together, it feel like something is inside the phone and is making the phone case to crack open.
@alex reynoso I've decided to do that and ignore the problem now. I have a waterproof case and even with the whole top left corner being open my phone survived falling in a bucket of water more than once. The only issue is my WiFi and Bluetooth range is appalling, like I lose 1 bar every 10 inches away from the router.

One side of my phone screen has been entirely popped out and I can see tons of light, it’s also next to the volume key but I can’t fix it because the part that was cracked was dented I’ve only noticed this month.
Ive changed my battery three times... Ive been extremely careful all the time to make sure im not charging and using it at the same time and to make sure im not overcharging it... it keeps happening to me. However whenever it does seperate it sepertes on the right first then after its a larger buldge then the left part rises too, any idea why?
Thanks man. At first i go to third party for screen replacement but it would cost me around 2000 php. And i was on a tight budget. So i went online instead and order an iphone 6 digitalizer for 490 php. And watch youtube tutorials and did it my self. But i notice this problem (screen popping on the left side) maybe i did something wrong because i dont have this problem before opening it. After watching your vid, got an idea and open it again and yeah my battery got swollen with some air inside. Dont have cash to order new battery so i take the blade, slice a bit of battery cover to take the air out. Got a little nervous because theres a little spark. But everything bacame flat after flushing all the air from battery coating. Put the screen back and everything was sleek and compact. I hope the battery will last and wont leak. Might destroy my board

honestly, it just seems to be a problem some phones have. just googling “iphone 6 screen raised one side” brought up so many complaints about that exact situation - not high enough to have light visible, but definitely high enough that something’s not attached. that being said, i do know that various people have tried various things to various amounts of success. perhaps something like what they’ve done would help.
Hey I have question, if drop my I phone and my screen pop. Ever since then my battery doesn’t last it keeps shutting off when it’s 90% or 50 % or something it won’t even charge.
I had the same issue at first my phone fell later screen started coming out. It's the battery that has started to expand. To change the battery is the only solution now.

Remember when Apple gave iPhone users a battery for $30 bucks that usually cost $80? And that it was covered to be $30? Also something I noticed was while texting I couldn't push the numbers on the left-hand side of the phone that well without applying more pressure. So I've just recently got a new battery so I guess this means I have to get another? I tried applying a little pressure carefully but the phone stays popped open on the left side. So I wonder what causes the batteries to bulge?
the screen will break. you have to replace the battery sooner or later or you'll end with replacing the screen too. I've experienced this on my iPhone 5. i didn't react quickly to change the battery. the the screen ended up screwed

I was confused at first because I didn't remember dropping my phone are you doing anything to it really but I noticed a small crack on the top left and then noticing later on that it had cracked even more like in slow motion from the top left over to the top right and then eventually sending a few cracks right down the entire front, this isn't the first time though that I've had to deal with Apple lithium bulgy batteries causing problems.
This happened on my iPhone XS Max, my screen was popping out on the upper corners and the Face ID was acting weird, not recognizing my face most of the times... I didn’t open the whole screen tho, I just applied superglue with a toothpick in the area that was coming out and put a little pressure, it’s good as new now 👌🏼 Thanks!
The battery is faulty and the fact that it has swollen up, you will need to replace it to continue using the phone affectively and avoid further damage to the device. Leaving it too long can also break the screen.

@@PTRK490 bc android batteries slowly leak the gases that causes the battery case (the cellophane wrap meant to contain the gases) to swell up. in android, the phone body itself is built like an aperiodic enclosure for this instance while the iPhone is a closed system. so when the battery pops, the android will have sort of ventilation so that those gases will not build up inside and destroy the alloyed silver soldering which is good in terms of practicality but VERY BAD for the environment. the iPhone contains that and let the battery bulge up so as to avoid destroying elements inside and protect the environment too and its screen was designed with that in mind so it does't break.

yeah, your cable could be loose or something. it could also just be your battery. when mine went out, tilting my phone seemed to cause it to die faster.

There are other factors to consider too. Has your phone been water damaged before? And the battery quality they replace was it of good quality? There are different grade.
ITJungles no water damage.i have no idea about the quality but i got a new battery and its all good now.one more thing .i dont know if ita be cause i use an iphone 5 or there is some other problem but my battery lasts only for 1.5 hours when i use internet.even after changing batteries.
So I've been through it with my iphone 6. First, the battery life was short. It would go from 100% to nothing within minutes so it has to stay on charge. THEN I started having to use a hairdryer to turn it back on when it died. THEN I started having to keep the battery hot because if the phone got cold, it'd die even if it was on charge... Well, I stupidly began to use a tart warmer to heat up my phone and I forgot about it being on there for like 30 minutes and when I finally remembered and rushed to retrieve it, the phone was scalding hot and burned my hands. Upon further examination, I noticed the screen was popped off and the part of the screen that shows the battery life has a nice dark spot over it. Now, the phone is dying even when it's hot and I'm ready to bust it to smithereens lmao
This happened to me because I laid the phone down on the passenger seat of the car and the sun caught it for a few minutes. I tried to lay it down in a shadow, but the sun moves and the sun ended up on it for too long, perhaps 30 minutes before I discovered it.
I think mines starting to do this there’s squishiness in the screen along the left edge and the top of the battery gets hot randomly plus it dies fast I took the screws out incase it decides to start bulging so it won’t break the screen I’m getting an 8 soon which sucks my 6 is doing fine other the the original battery that’s starting to fail😕 I can’t trust Apple doing a replacement because the screens cracked (one crack across the screen) they’d break it worse and either say “we can’t fix it but u can trade it in for a $1,000 brand new latest model iphone” Or they’d say “it broke we were careful but u could get it replaced for $200 on top of the $100 or so for the battery”
I’d do it myself but I can’t find a battery I trust especially the “refurbished” ones that just means they wiped the charging data off of a OLD well used one so it looks like new they do have little chips in them The others are TOTAL fakes i don’t trust

a lot of heat will make a battery expand also using chinese chargers will also make your battery expand

Guys be really careful if your phone's front or back is bulging out it may explode anytime. I ignored my s7 and it exploded

Hydrogen gas builds up in your phone , which is unable to be emitted .
I have the exact same problem.few months back my iphone 5's battery was draining like crazy so i got it changed from a local store because apple was charging more and now i have a duplicate battery (i guess i am not sure) and the screen is coming up.and btw replacing the battery did no good.the battert life was same even after i had it replaced😫.i am scared i hope it doesn't blast
And the store guy kept my og battery and now i am pretty sure he doesn't have my battery.i wish i didnt replace it

There are other factors to consider too. Has your phone been water damaged before? And the battery quality they replace was it of good quality? There are different grade.
ITJungles no water damage.i have no idea about the quality but i got a new battery and its all good now.one more thing .i dont know if ita be cause i use an iphone 5 or there is some other problem but my battery lasts only for 1.5 hours when i use internet.even after changing batteries.

Months ago, why the hek it’s bubbling up
So I've been through it with my iphone 6. First, the battery life was short. It would go from 100% to nothing within minutes so it has to stay on charge. THEN I started having to use a hairdryer to turn it back on when it died. THEN I started having to keep the battery hot because if the phone got cold, it'd die even if it was on charge... Well, I stupidly began to use a tart warmer to heat up my phone and I forgot about it being on there for like 30 minutes and when I finally remembered and rushed to retrieve it, the phone was scalding hot and burned my hands. Upon further examination, I noticed the screen was popped off and the part of the screen that shows the battery life has a nice dark spot over it. Now, the phone is dying even when it's hot and I'm ready to bust it to smithereens lmao

This happened to me because I laid the phone down on the passenger seat of the car and the sun caught it for a few minutes. I tried to lay it down in a shadow, but the sun moves and the sun ended up on it for too long, perhaps 30 minutes before I discovered it.
Looks like iPhones have not improved because I have the iPhone XR and it’s happening to me

I think mines starting to do this there’s squishiness in the screen along the left edge and the top of the battery gets hot randomly plus it dies fast I took the screws out incase it decides to start bulging so it won’t break the screen
I’m getting an 8 soon which sucks my 6 is doing fine other the the original battery that’s starting to fail😕
I can’t trust Apple doing a replacement because the screens cracked
(one crack across the screen) they’d break it worse and either say “we can’t fix it but u can trade it in for a $1,000 brand new latest model iphone”
Or they’d say “it broke we were careful but u could get it replaced for $200 on top of the $100 or so for the battery”
I’d do it myself but I can’t find a battery I trust especially the “refurbished” ones that just means they wiped the charging data off of a OLD well used one so it looks like new they do have little chips in them
The others are TOTAL fakes i don’t trust
