they are candy cigarettes they used to have red tips but they rebranded them after people worked out encouraging children to take up smoking probably wasn't a great idea, the pink smokers were an alternative breath mint but cinnamon instead of mint for people who hate mint flavor, they were popular with smokers hence the name
Those spaceman sticks used to have one end that was coloured red so we kids used to pretend we were smoking. Years later they were required to remove the red colour as government worried it would encourage smoking.😂

The jelly tip cookies (biscuits in this part of the world,) are a clone of the Tip Top Jellytip ice-creams that are on a stick. I loved them as a kid. All too sweet really.

Hard case the last chocolate you tried was the same as the almond gold chocolate yet 2 different reactions. Maybe as it was straight after the dark chocolate. Whittakers is still a family owned business still using the best ingredients to create oustanding quality chocolate. Unlike other chocolate manufacturers that have done things like swap out the cocoa for palm oil and other cheap methods which are not environmentally friendly
2 years later here 😂. I love that Whittaker's also put a public notice thingo out to say they were raising the price of their chocolate due to whatever it was they needed to do. They kept their bars of chocolate the same size too, so no reduction in size as well. Unlike other chocolate companies who changed the recipe until there was uproar from the public but they sneakily started reducing the size of the bars. I've been a Whittaker's fan for a long time and will never buy anything else
Pink Smokers are for older folks imo. They're very chalky and hard and my grandad used to eat them but he also used to be a smoker, which is what they're intended for.

Here in NZ, we don't usually have chocolate flavoured fudge's. We do have alot of russian fudge though. If you grew up here I think you would get a bit more used to the taste of it. I understand though.
RJ's is my favourite licorice. I used to go to their Levin base-of-operations once a year. They allow you to buy their offcuts in bulk and they are SOO good!

Spaceman candy sticks used to have a red dyed tip and were called spaceman cigarettes. They were made to look like cigarettes so children could pretend to smoke them.

I use to eat pink smoker for quitting cigarettes I think that's why it smells and taste strong but they did help me give up
