I felt so much better the couple years I was working in a trench. I get boils real bad, those 2-3 years they were gone. Not that I'm back to my old job they have started to come back along with other noticable things.
The way I usually answer the question is by saying Remember when you were a kid and you would go out and play on the grass barefoot for hours in the sun? Modernity is the thing that is backwards to spend 8 hours Per day in front of a computer and eat processed foods, Get no sun or outdoor exercise and Be in a constant state of stress? That's acceptable?
Great answer, I wasn't going to watch this post but I,m glad that I did, I can't actually remember what aroused my interest in grounding but I,m just glad that something or someone did🙏

As a stroke survivor I have had multiple surgeries on my airways due to scar tissue that continues to grow back as a result of having a tracheotomy along with chronic headaches, anxiety and severe insomnia as a result of my brain injury. Grounding/Earthing changed my life COMPLETELY! I do not have to get surgery on my airways every 6 months as I did before. I am currently at almost 2 years now and I have NOT needed my regular surgery to remove the inflamed scar tissue that usually blocks my airways, which makes it extremely difficult to do life. That alone is amazing however this new ability to sleep though the night as a result of sleeping grounded, is PRICELESS! If you or someone you know that struggles with insomnia EARTHING is the answer that their looking for. 🙏 IT IS NOT A Placebo! (But even if you believed it is and it cured your issues….would that be so bad?) Think about it. 🤔 I myself was not a believer in grounding at first but now I will tell EVERYONE I know including my fellow stroke survivors what grounding/Earthing has done for me. 🙌 Great show guys! ♥️👣
@@Beetlejuice80sGrass is wonderful! I believe the recommended time is 20-30 minutes, but you can do it as long as you want. I spend up to 90 minutes a day with my bare feet in the grass in the nice weather. I also sleep on a Earthing fitted sheet. They have really helped my arthritis pain. I've been having a lot of muscle spasms occasionally for years. In the last couple months that has increased to almost daily with excruciating pain. I got out my grounding mat a few days ago. I'm already seeing a lessening of the pain & spasms.
@@elovingrosepsychic6771 Amazing, i already sleeping much better, before i star groundng i was waking up every night at 4 am and usually tool me 1 hour to sleep again, since i starting to grounding i could slept all night without any disturbance
I have a 15 month old and we do a lot of activities but some evenings she can get a bit silly and kind of antsy. I end up taking us outside in the yard on the grass to play and within 10 mins she has calmed down and is playing happily. It's great for mummy and baby!
My husband dislikes anything woo woo but he is very much into grounding. He has convinced me to ground myself most days and the easiest way for me to do that is when I am hanging out washing or bringing it in, or enjoying sunsets in our back yard.
We are electrical beings. I use grounding to help train my clients online with back and knee pain. Grounding helps to activate your muscles which then makes the exercises more efficient and effective :)
Wow, all the things we have & fancy stuff don't mean nothing, it's amazing really how little we need. I'm taking my shoes off & heading to the garden xx
The comment about the animals really hit home for me. I remember when we used to let our dogs and cats "run" the neighborhood. Those pets lived WELL beyond the lifespan of today's pets. I remember throwing hilarious parties when our cat turned 16 and again when he turned 21. Good times.
My cat is in his early 20s and has been living in my apartment most of his life. And he's still very healthy. Our personal experiences don't correlate as facts.
It absolutely works! My neck and back were killing me last week until I stood in my front yard barefoot for 20 minutes. I still feel great. Trust the process

It really works - skeptical as I was I bought a mattress grounding blanket and I sleep on it. I tell you we all know walking barefoot on the beach or grass... walk on grass and sand if and when you can otherwise get a grounding bed matt for 7 or 8 hours a night. Solid sleep, no interruptions and truly great feeling on waking... just sleep for me no healing needed just could not sleep for more than 3.5 hours now 7 to 9 and I need my alarm to wake me up.
This works 💯 I did it after my mother telling me to do it for months. It worked my sleeping issues left as well as my upper back pain and stress that couldn’t live my body.
I was recently gifted an "Earthing" throw blanket. In the spring & summer months, I can easily ground outdoors, but not in the cold winter. The throw has helped immensely. I noticed the lessening of the joint pain in my hips (arthritis) within a day. No joke, those blankets work, as do the mats, which are more affordable (before Xmas, they were $40).
If someone accepts that a ball of plasma 90+ million miles away can affect life on our planet, including our health, through its emittances of light/heat/radiation/flares/etc. then it stands to reason that a 8,000 mile wide ball of dirt/magma/iron core, with a powerful magnetic field, that we're living on top of also does the same. The earth's very obviousness leads us to forget it sometimes. Edit: There is also the day-night cycle caused by earth's shadow and its effects on essentially all life on our planet. Imagine human biology and society without a circadian rhythm.
Stefan Burns on YT has lots of videos about earthing as well as the Schumann resonances. Those are a good place to start. Circadian rhythm has also been studied very extensively. A good place to look may be the wikipedia article. This discusses its many effects on our health. I actually got into this because I was reading about tidally locked planets. These are planets where the rotation and revolution around the star are the same, so the same side always faces the star. One side is always day, the other always dark. Assuming the light side of the planet was habitable, how would life be there? A very complex question with massive, almost unknowable implications. The function of sleep in living things is still not completely known and even human sleep is still being researched. It appears that REM sleep especially allows the brain to "wash" itself out from inflammatory particles it accumulates when using energy to function. So would something else have taken its place if we had no circadian rhythm? Would human colonists on such a planet still sleep or just function as "insomniacs" and somehow have their bodies handle these processes another way? There is so much we still don't know.
I have a grounding mat, and decided to get scientific with it. I had rashes all over both of my legs from ankle to knee. I used the mat for 2 nights (below the knee). My pictures show that from below the knee to ankle -- healed almost entirely. The knees still looked the same. My scientist friends thanked me for giving them a snippet of "proof" that it does in fact help the body heal itself faster.
I use an ESD plug in bed, as cannot use a grounding rod....it most definitely works, it has resolved some very strange electrical phenomena in my body. I attach to the ESD plug using bare copper wire. I noticed that the effects only really occur at the point of where the copper touches the body ..
Well my grandparents’ dogs had cancer and they were outside all day grounding, so there’s more to it. Healthy eating, not being around stressed out humans, etc. Grounding is definitely an important piece of the puzzle, but not a complete cure.
It works. I too was skeptical. I had severe neck pain and swelling. I even ended up on steroids and as soon i was done it came right back. So i started grounding and within 3 days the pain and swelling went away and since then it has never returned. Earthing is real!!
I used to roll my eyes or get annoyed at all these concepts that we always have used and still use in the parts of the world that the west has a habit of mocking and calling primitive. The more I seek clarity and mindfulness though, I'm learning to instead feel some compassion; I never was a baby learning how to walk with shoes on for instance. Most of my early life was barefoot, until thanks to colonialism and all of that, once we reached a certain age we had to be "civilised" by wearing shoes everywhere and curtailing our traditions in public until we came home. Every morning our parents would tell us to go and play in the ground and dirt outside before having a bath and getting ready for school etc. Of course at the time you just do what your parents say and don't think about it, but then you realize that our people have done that with their children for thousands of years. So instead of being annoyed at how our cultures have been mocked and destroyed and our traditions are now western "new age" stuff, I'll keep trying and trying to see it as progress. Thank you for sharing.
Look at it as validation, that what you have done all of your life, is finally getting the recognition it deserves. I'll say this for Western civ... the more "educated" they become, the less of the natural they seem to understand...
I never comment on TH-cam videos but I just learned about this concept today and I will be testing it myself. I’m a 30 year old making 200k+ in sales living under a high degree of stress the last 10 years. I have had extreme inflammation the past 6-7 years but the doctors tell me it’s chronic gastritis and basically I’ll have to live with it and to watch my diet. I’ve tried everything. Cut gluten, cut dairy, tried keto and vegan diets for 3 months each, a few things that help are turmeric and increasing my fiber intake but I still feel the burning in my stomach 24/7. I will try this next and I will share my experience. I’m going to start today by watching football in the backyard probably for hours. No work tomorrow and I’m in Florida for work next week so I’ll spend my nights walking the beach. I’ll report back in weekly increments if I can. It’s worth mentioning I’ve never enjoyed walking barefoot so I constantly wear rubber soles and I’m wondering if this has been my problem all along. Excited to find out. If anyone read this and has some insight please share.
I'm glad I realized this at 28. It's weird to state that my hobbies are learning and practicing things I learned but this one's one of my favorites. I walk, jog, run, chill barefoot outside inside on hot pavement I try not to go out in sub 32 degrees now cause I had a Nad experience with negative Temps 😅 you can get on grass in the heat but you can't avoid cold ground during the winter without shoes.
I’d had insomnia for the last 10 years, and I started grounding 3 days ago. Today I woke up feeling fresh, and I’ve haven’t slept for 3 hours straight without waking up, I only woke up cuz of an alarm. And to top it off, I fell asleep pretty fast.. is it just my mind playing tricks on me? Idk but since I started 3 days ago, I can feel the difference in my sleep, including naps.

@@fiat2496 yeah I think going natural is better. For some reason, we always feel tired and sleepy after the beach. Maybe it’s because we’re drain from the sun, or activities we do, like walking on sand, swimming etc,.. and while we’re on the beach, we feel relaxed and stress free. Everytime I go home to the Philippines, I get good sleep most of the time. Just the nature and the atmosphere makes you feel relaxed..
Have to admit, I'm very sceptical, however a grounding mat for me to stand on whilst working from home is only £35 ($40), so what's to lose? I'll give it a go anyway. Cheap enough to try out and find out. Besides, as you say, grounding is free if you want to try it outside for a few weeks.
I liked the idea, I'm pretty open to the woowoo because I understand we cant possibly percieve all the ways the body works as its evolved in nature, but still try to be reasonable and logical about it. tested myself with a volt meter (it does drop), bought a silver laced conductive bedsheet and attached it to an actual 5' deep ground rod separate from the house current. Havent noticed a thing after a year of it but certainly wont hurt anything. We do lots of things for health we don't necessarily notice every day, this one is so easy it makes more sense to do it than not.
I've heard that silver can corrode, so it won't conduct anymore. You might need to re-check on a regular basis to be sure it's conducting. Or the cord could have been severed.
I just tested the potential difference between me and ground and I got 5.3v when I'm on my bed. I have a very good grounding system that I use for RF applications. I made simple set up and I'm convinced I feel some difference.

First heard of this a week ago. I know enough that discharging to earth ground makes perfect sense. As for the health benefits, we will see. I’m grounded under my desk and in my bed. Time will tell me. Hoping for the best.
@@Pliko3 Well, if you are not currently grounded and you take a multimeter connecting one end to a known ground and hold the other end, you will register about 2 volts (at least that is what I registered.). When I touch the grounding with any part of my body, I immediately drop to zero volts. The atmosphere has a positive voltage charge and even though we are highly resistant (measured in ohms) we are insulated from ground due to rubber soles and other artificial insulators so we, at least in my case, pick up a couple volts. We are the only species on earth that does not ground routinely and all mammals are virtually always grounded except us. It makes sense that we should ground and the multimeter proves we carry a charge unnaturally. The question is, does a couple volts affect health? I dunno. But my nephew grounded his momma’s bed and her chronic cluster headaches stopped immediately. She’s been suffering off and on for years. I can’t say I’ve noticed any benefit but it makes more sense than the celery juice fad 🤣
@@notimeforspace2477 I can’t tell you what to do. What I did though, is made certain my breaker panel was properly grounded to the rod next to the foundation. In both locations I connected to the ground in my electrical system. In the breaker panel, the ground and the are neutral wired together. Stray voltage will seek the path of least resistance to ground-that won’t be through me laying in bed. My house has copper plumbing throughout and a boiler, both ground to the panel. I touch the ground circuit on a very regular every day-I realized that. The metal chassis on a computer is grounded and we don’t think twice about touching it. For me, I have no safety concerns, but if a thunderstorm rolls through, I would unplug my wires- while I’m quite the dancer, no sense performing the ‘110 Jig’ unnecessarily 🤣

I'm only part into this and wow wow wowing. I've heard and believe in earthing, though have never put it in action, each time impressed but forgetting. But, I just love what he captures here so fast. And, it never occurred to me that my entire life i insisted being barefoot as much as possible, having shoes off the shortest time and even barefoot in winter if it wasn't too long or too cold. I've been disabled , muscle-wasting and had immune problems, so consequently, I'm in the house most the time. But my barefoot preference my whole life was an aha, i suddenly remembered and always knew how GREAT i felt with my feet. I'd walk rocks any surface my whole life until i was disabled. I had an instinct for it. The other times i heard of Earthing, i was convinced but i just never got to it as my health was too complex at the time with fatal autoimmune (still here) and just many more health problems. I was overcome and struggling every second. Now, severely weak, muscle-wasted (ALS from nerve gas), but without all the other complications. I definitely will be doing religiously and a lot. I'll report back how my motor neurons and strength respond. It should be interesting. I've worked naturally with herbs and diet forty years. First learned earthing 7 years ago. Best of success to everyone healing and in preventing illness. By the way, people exposed to nerve gas in doses like me died of ALS longest time (many shorter) was 20 years. I'm at 38 years. So, I have had significant success in warding it off. Motor neurons repair so slowly, it used to be deemed impossible. For all intensive purposes, it's still the case. Herbal protocol for stem cells and conversion with maintenance and other complex nutraceutical and herb approach DID help me. I went from bedridden to exercising at one point, though i still collapsed hard and recovered very slow it was a GREAT improvement. I'm writing this long about neuro continuing down, in case it helps someone. Now, they have stem cells, which are limited all around, but especially for motor neuron disease. Why limited with stem cells? Because it requires MANY supportive chemicals in the body for those stem cells to succeed and modern medicine is NOT that good. They don't have a drug to treat all the necessary co-factors necessary. Herbs to the rescue. I did it with herbs. Hormones are a key player with stem cells. There are herbs for each part of the process. Unfortunately, with menopause comes a decrease in the hormones. I prayed I'd keep my cycle forever, because i KNEW i'd be in trouble once menopause hit - I NEEDED those hormones and would be much less able to multiply them. I wasted rapidly. BOOST your hormones and research herbs for every step in motor neuron repair if you have it. Or, if stem cells are required for another health condition, or would be ideal for regeneration, the same principle goes. Herbs CAN and do regenerate like and better than the expensive and limited stem cell treatments. They can't treat motor neuron disease with stem cells. Herbs did. It took many YEARS to see the regeneration and maintaining of strength. Drugs couldn't do it. That might sound discouraging, but it's all I had (besides the other areas i treated with herbs and diet to prevent damage and gain strength, mitochondrial protection, etc), but I KNEW from the studies the herbs were addressing every step in the process for this to happen. So take care as much as possible and treat this area as soon as possible if you have any neurodegenerative disease or other where stem cells would help. I only recently have considered that I MIGHT do synthetic hormones, because it may give me a chance to rebuild slowly and stop this rapid degeneration. Under any other circumstance, i'd never take synthetic hormones, but past menopause and my condition might be the only way i can address this fast enough. The risk and side effects (I don't go to docs or take drugs with rare exception and only so i can get diagnosis and testing of areas to find herbs and alternatives for) may be worth it in my case. If i can help anyone, feel free to write with questions or for us to talk so I can then help out. Simple request is fine. I'm not a doc but i can share what i believe and found. :). Everyone must make their own med decisions with their doctor. You are the final decision. Don't EVER hand over your health to anyone, even an herbal practitioner or other natural health person. Be involved and always make an informed and intuitive decision. Keep searching. DON'T just hand over your health to someone, no matter how much knowledge they have or what worked for them. You should be the final decision on your protocol and journey healing. It's not just about finding a good person to tell you what to do, especially the more serious a health condition, but even with relatively healthy. You are the captain of your ship with God and prayer. God bless.

This is fascinating. I have have gone barefoot as much as possible since I was elementary age. Maybe this is why I love walking barefoot on the beach so much.
Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts on Earthing...I felt so thankful because I realized because of our poverty...given by Mother Nature on Earthing without our knowing. I can't remember we got sick...& realized why we have high pain threshold as well 🥰🥰🥰 Thanks so much Divine Providence 🙏🙏🙏
I learned from physics that if you could place extra electrons inside a solid piece of an electrical conductor, such as a piece of copper, because like charges repel, all of the electrons would move as far away from each other as they could. The result is that all the excess electrons would almost immediately appear distributed on the outside surface and no excess electrons would be found anywhere inside the object or body. So, how do those extra electrons on the surface enter into any chemical reaction inside the body of an animal or a human? I suggest that they don't at all.
I understand the concepts of grounding, I prefer water grounding. I think you attribute too much to grounding.....much of pain and inflammation come from refined grains, seed oils, and plant based diets. Water grounding provides higher surface contact for better charge displacement.
In addition to grounding, one should get plenty of sun light. From "The Secrets of Underground Medicine" Dr. Richard Gerhauser, page 144: "At the same time of your sun exposure, I recommend that you be grounded to the Earth. Your body actually gets energy this way. You ground by going barefoot on the dirt, grass, beach or on concrete. Asphalt is an insulator, so it doesn't allow grounding."
i thought concrete was also an insulator. I did not think that concrete conducted electricity.... Yes, one should get to the earth with as few barriers as possible, i will agree, but concrete as a place to ground? I just got introduced to the concept of mats/sheets that are connected to electrical ground, i am just starting to research is, but it makes sense with my basic understandings of electricity and martial arts. (Certain strikes are more effective disconnected from the earth (jumping) than connected to it, and the reverse is also true.
We biologically benefit from sunlight because we use photons to help create essential vitamins in our body, grounding does absolutely nothing but placebo.
I started grounding myself about a week ago for help with my aches and pains and so far the only obvious change is that my beard went from snowy white to its natural red. Weird! Anyone else? Still hoping for arthritis relief.
Your beard regained its natural color?! Does that mean it might help my mom's hair regain its color?🤔 Damn I really need to try this earthing/grounding.
We do love earth, we don't love money hungry shills who are willing to fool gullible people into buying $300 "grounding mat kits". Don't give these con men your money.
You describe how the body runs on electric signals and how the Earth is a gigantic dynamo. that's how you explain it. we are complex products of simple physics.
Holy F*CK. I watched this months ago and I jumped on here to find out what all I needed for that bed/ground thing they talked about in the movie Earthing. As soon as this dude mentioned about how you feel after being barefoot at the beach and what not for a few hours, it suddenly clicked. When I've been outside without thick soled shoes for a few hours, I feel tired but also complete within myself. I just now put the two together.
So, I'm a barehand lineman, I literally surround myself with hundreds of thousands of volts. Like the opposite of grounding. I can lick a live 500,000 volt line. Shouldn't I be developing inflammation and pain etc...?
I developed spontaneously it seems vestibular migraines and PPPD about 2 years ago and its ruined my life. I still get dizzy and off feeling most everywhere i go. Going into stores and walking in general makes me feel off and disoriented. Do you think id benefit from grounding? I think im going to do it 30min a day each morning and see what happens
Curious if you are doing an episode on the difference between earthing and grounding. In my teaching practice, I share how earthing is a great practice, however grounding is what humans are really seeking.
Grounding for me is about becoming fully present in your body first by breathing deeply in your own human being, consciously and into your entire body, When this is done in a space of heart coherence, you can then expand and set your own energy field so you take presence over your human form. The electrical and earthing (as I see how this video describes) definitely work because nature does 'ground' the electrical charge...however because we are also nature as an energy, not just electrical, we thrive best when being one with nature and not as the 'reason' or 'check-list' to 'ground'. We are nature and like gaia, she is resting fully in the now of where each weed, flower, plant, weather pattern is, accepting of it all without expectation, and not rushing her growth, or living in the past. She doesn't pulling at weeds to 'get rid of them as bad', rather she sees them all as a part of her whole. So yes, Go Be Earth...practice both and you might be incredibly surprised!!
@@TimMarston-l8r Likewise with anyone living in a house in the United States built since about 1970. The grounding of residential electrical installations were required from about that time. Therefore, washing machines, clothes dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, microwave ovens, and metal electric coffee makers are grounded through the electrical system. And as you say, flowing water from any tap in a home would have the same potential as the ground outside the house because water with dissolved minerals is a conductor and the pipes that carry it to the house run underground and are made of electrical conductors.
I use an ESD plug in bed, as cannot use a grounding rod....it most definitely works, it has resolved some very strange electrical phenomena in my body. I attach to the ESD plug using bare copper wire.
Ive tried a grounding sheet for 2 days. I live in an apartment at the 13 floor. I don't know if it's too much EMF, but I felt really strange. Tingling all over the body (not in a good way). I don't think plugging those things on electrical outlets are good idea. Barefoot is the way.
Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez had a clinic and treated cancer patients, one of whom DID live very close to an electric station and he found that was the cause of her cancer.
Even if it’s fake, it still has a placebo effect on everyone that views it positively that’s probably why the sides on which people who have tried it are mainly extremely polarized
Could we remove the two electrical prongs and the wires from a three-prong plug and just leave the ground 'pole" intact and strip the green ground wire at the other end to expose the copper wire, and hold the wire in our fingers, or make a bracelet to wear as we sleep - with the ground-pole plugged into the wall? I did that and have one near my bed, one in the washroom for when i sit (or stand), plus i have an earthing mat where i sit at the computer. I want to attach another bare wire in the kitchen for when i am doing things in the kitchen, too. I even wear a cut up wire as described and wear the copper wire as a bracelet around my wrist during the winter, so when i go out, i can ground myself wherever there is an electrical outlet. I've been grounding myself for about three and a half weeks and i feel so many results: 1. carpal tunnel syndrome is MUCH better already. Maybe i should clarify on that. The numbness in my "resting" hands has almost 100% vanished, however, as soon as i do any hard work with my hands, like wringing out wet clothes, or using a screwdriver and/or pliers for long periods, the numbness comes back BUT it's not as debilitating as before. The grounding helps A LOT with the numbness. My c6 - c7 vertebrae etc are not pinching a nerve. 2. A pain in my knee seems to have gone away. 3. I stopped taking the supplements i was taking for seven years to help deal with my enlarged prostate, and i find i can urinate better. 4. I now can sleep for eight to nine hours each night much more often than before i started grounding myself. 5. I do enjoy the quiet moments more since grounding. When it's quiet i enjoy the peace. 6. It seems my air passages have been easier to "cough up" phlegm - i'm breathing easier. On a bit of a down-side, because i don't do enough physical activity, i think i have more stored-up energy than before, and it sometimes "comes out" in little, but more frequent, bursts of frustration.
I did this experiment but with a legitimate ground rod, the same you would buy from Home Depot to ground your house from lighting strikes, had a silver impregnated cloth, 6’x 2’ ( silver being the prefect conductor ) sown to hold a 14 gauge copper wire, having a pier and beam house, drill a hole into the floor that would accommodate the lighting rod and drove it 4 ft. Into the ground. With the cloth attached to the copper wire, wire attached to the ground rod. So you could say I didn’t do it half way. Slept on it for months and it “Did Nothing” for me pain wise, mainly speaking for RA. These Hocus Pocus cure alls are just that Hocus Pocus cure alls that are mostly psychosomatic. And those who told me of this BS and was sold on it have also discontinued their use of it and still suffer with RA. These and thousands of superstitions gullible people have been swallowing for forever. I hope I have learned my lesson to do thorough research before wasting time and money on hearsay❗️
So go carnivore. Worked for Mikhaila Peterson and many others. Watch Dr. Shawn Baker Podcast channel for peoples' experiences reversing all sorts of health issues.
Let's go through the science here first... Shall we? Before you debunk this theory, let's talk about your sheets. What exactly was their fabric content? Some artificial fabrics would've been deal breakers. Secondly, what's your bed made of? Because "electrical currents always follow the greatest contact" - So if the sheets touching the bed and the bed is a better conductor, then it bypassed your body which has more resistance... Third, was the 14 gauge copper wire coated/shielded? Or unshielded/uncoated? Most of the times we find people doing things wrong and then getting upset at the results rather than troubleshooting their homemade concoction to ensure success.
i walk around barefoot at the house and everyone thinks its weird and i tell them its for foot strength (i dont want to wear shoes 24/7), but grounding is more than half the reason.
So, are the floors in your house made of earth? I believe that you have to be actually touching Earth to get grounded, not just the floor. Any one correct me if I'm wrong.
I think there's more evidence to suggest our rampant inflammation is connected to modern diets of ultra processed foods. This accounts for the abnormal rates of desease in pets too.
Symbiotic relationship with the earth and our scientific makeup. Everything's energy, we know we can block energy paths but not destroy it. Nature is a flow in all including the body.
I remember my Mom that went to an old town in Mexico they were doing grounding this happen in 1978 and my mother got better no need for surgery on her heel. And also change food that what she did. so now so many years into the future I just came across on TH-cam and I connected the dots Im goin to do it. hope it works.
I believe this whole concept is true I just wish somebody would make the connection to the creator God and how he set all this up for us to heal up from his creation
My husband was on board until mispronounced "plethora", and I was on board until he mentioned autism. I'm on the autism spectrum. How my brain is wired is not something that needs to be "fixed". I'll still get a grounding mat, because I'm having inflammation issues and I'm too allergic to everything growing to ground in the spring and summer here in Missouri.
As someone who is also on the scale of autism/Asperger, the interesting part is that someone would want to give up because someone used a word very similar to "potato/pototo or tomato/tomoto... And the mention of "autism" being "fixed" is still an okay subject matter. Why the negative energies over mention of autism?? - My background is psychology and I find it odd that people always get defensive over something we all know is a simple disorder that can have benefits from external training and stimulus. There's no need to be offended by the mention of "fixing" autism. Why the defensive posture?

Patients that have defribilators and pacemakers implants want to know if practicing grounding or earthing Really works and will it affect the implants?
Everyone in my life is tired of hearing about how grounding changed my life. Among many other benefits, I unintentionally grounded my way to fertility. The only three times I was able to get pregnant after a total of 10 years of unexplained infertility was when I moved to the beach, and then twice when I planted gardens. Now 5 years later when I discovered grounding as a concept I got a grounding mat, and have so far lost 11 pounds in 5 weeks without effort. I no longer have anxiety or depression. I could go on forever about how it changed my life.
This is fascinating! I'm trying now to move back to the coast for the health benefits (grounding & negative ions!), and also learning about Thalassotherapy (sea/salt water healing).
Shovel a patch down to the grass and put your barefeet on it. The cold is invigorating and energizing. I do this in Winnipeg, every day even in-40 temps.
Ah, I miss living in Hawaii for this reason. Lots of routine grounding and free Vitamin D. When I moved back to the US mainland I had to get used to wearing closed-toe footwear again.

When grounding a electrical service the ground wire is connected to the neutral connector. This is because electricity does not want to go to ground but wants to go back to its source. Electricians also install a ground to earth but they need to have a lot of contact with the earth to actually have little enough resistance for this to work. For grounding rods you need to have at-least 8ft. of buried copper to lower the resistance. Even these rods are an attempt to return to the source of the power. My point being that your body a) does not produce enough voltage for you to be conductive with the earth. And b) you do not have enough contact with the earth with just your feet and hands or even your whole body especially when copper is a much better conductor of electricity. This belief that we can and should ground our selves is flawed. Well I am sure that many people have started doing this and have felt results that is most likely due to some other variable that is being overlooked.
So, I'm a little confused - should I invest in a Grounding mat - or just go walk on the grass for 10 minutes each day - are these plug-in mats really as great as some say? The natural thing, I can totally understand.
So I found Intermittent Fasting then Cold Shower Therapy and now Earthing (Grounding). Cool I will start experimenting with this too. Thanks for the Info
This guys just said, “After I go surfing I always feel more relaxed afterwards.” Obviously the only reason for that must be the grounding effect of the water and sand, right? It couldn’t be that you’re on an endorphin high after enjoying a leisure activity that also is strenuous
Can someone help? crawling worms & bugs are really yucks to me so I'm paranoid & stressed about grounding. Can I at least get a fresh leaf and put it on the ground then put my feet on the leaf? Or if I use a clay potting pot with holes underneath and fill it with soil then put it on the ground then my feet in that soil in the pot? The soil in the pot will get in contact with the ground so it's the same thing right?
I was trying to figure out, also, how i can make something to stand on on my small patio. Don't want to use anything relating to electricity like the pads
If I use a separate ground rod outside , route a wire in my bedroom and put a grounding mat under the bed. It appears that my body voltage goes up as the electric field is coupling more with your body. is that a good thing? I'd be attracting more electricity from wires etc
I don't know anything about the mats, but your skin must touch something conductive like metal or carbon to ground the way you're describing. Suggest using a meter to check whether or not the voltage is increasing or decreasing in your body. Grounding properly sends all the environmental EMR pollution which the body absorbs into the earth. So, the voltage should decline (not rise) quite a bit.

Good point.
Possibly, but physical activity/exercising also releases endorphins which are the body’s natural pain relievers

The comment about the animals really hit home for me. I remember when we used to let our dogs and cats "run" the neighborhood. Those pets lived WELL beyond the lifespan of today's pets. I remember throwing hilarious parties when our cat turned 16 and again when he turned 21. Good times.

Sad that we are so out if touch with nature that explaining it is considered woo woo.

Shows you how easy it is to brainwash people.
Could you expand on that? I'm really interested.
This is what we call in the scientific community anecdotal evidence

I use an ESD plug in bed, as cannot use a grounding rod....it most definitely works, it has resolved some very strange electrical phenomena in my body. I attach to the ESD plug using bare copper wire. I noticed that the effects only really occur at the point of where the copper touches the body ..
Well my grandparents’ dogs had cancer and they were outside all day grounding, so there’s more to it. Healthy eating, not being around stressed out humans, etc. Grounding is definitely an important piece of the puzzle, but not a complete cure.
i don't think grounding has anything to do with it, its probably processed food. dogs are fed trash diets these days instead of real food
Most dog food & pet foods have high Fructose syrup in them. It's been proven dangerous for everyone.
I didn’t believe it until I spent an hour with my feet in the beach sand. My body felt weightless. It was magical.

Which country may I ask?
Look at it as validation, that what you have done all of your life, is finally getting the recognition it deserves. I'll say this for Western civ... the more "educated" they become, the less of the natural they seem to understand...
Man thinks putting some shoes on is colonialism and becoeming "civilized"

First heard of this a week ago. I know enough that discharging to earth ground makes perfect sense. As for the health benefits, we will see. I’m grounded under my desk and in my bed. Time will tell me. Hoping for the best.
Tell me how does it make perfect sense
Richard Gerhauser, page 144:
"At the same time of your sun exposure, I recommend that you be grounded to the Earth.
In a WEEK??
@@cacatr4495 Wasn't even aware of that possibility, so it seems unlikely to be a placebo effect. go figger!
Your beard regained its natural color?! Does that mean it might help my mom's hair regain its color?🤔
Damn I really need to try this earthing/grounding.
Consider carnivore for RA.
Growing your own food, putting your hands in the soil is how people used to ground themselves.
We love you Mother Earth!
Thank God who create everything including the Earth & these simple solutions.
We do love earth, we don't love money hungry shills who are willing to fool gullible people into buying $300 "grounding mat kits". Don't give these con men your money.
Modern man and their animals also all get vaccines, as opposed to animals in nature. Could be a factor in rise of autoimmune disorders, autism etc.
Country folks in louisiana, texas and Arkansas try our best to stay in touch with earth. Take a trip to the true southern places and see how we live.
So, I'm a barehand lineman, I literally surround myself with hundreds of thousands of volts. Like the opposite of grounding. I can lick a live 500,000 volt line. Shouldn't I be developing inflammation and pain etc...?
No because it's it's all garbage used to manipulate the gullible, elderly, and ignorant into buying shill products like $300 "grounding mat kits".
What's more likely, unfounded science spewed by people with zero credibility, or that people are greedy scammers who want money.
Yesterday I was gardening and digging on my hands and knees. Sure I had pain when I first stood up, but it was gone incredibly quickly.
Your body is a self healing, self regulating organism. Remove the interference and heal.
Thank you for this! Priceless information. Shared it with my family. Keep going!
Would using a magnetic underlay have the same effect as grounding?
Electrician here…and here I thought this was a video on electrical grounding.
This is woo woo.
Anytime you shower, bathe, wash your hands under the tap, or touch bare metal in a home in the UK, you would be grounded.
@@TimMarston-l8r Yet, not the grounding I’m looking for.
+1

The intelligence of God in the very design of our bodies and how he created us to be grounded! Wow! Thank you Abba
So how much grounding is recommended for good health? 20-30 minutes a day?
i know when im super drunk if i lay on anything other than the floor i keep spinning . soon as i get on floor it stops
if you are going to reference hippies, remember not to say, ``hippy.'' That just means someone w/wide hips. We hippies spell the singular, ``hippie.''
I'm wondering, can you get grounded by putting your hands on a tree? If so, this could be helpful in colder climates.
Dr. Laura Koniver says yes, and she shares many other ways to ground on her channel.
If people believe living under or near high voltage or long distance power lines is unhealthy, then this is definitely believable now.
How so? I dont see the connection other then they both speak of charges...
Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez had a clinic and treated cancer patients, one of whom DID live very close to an electric station and he found that was the cause of her cancer.
I don't know we have lived between two high tension lines for 36 yrs now . I am going to give grounding a try.
Great message! Earthing is so powerful! Big hugs 🤗
Came over from Witsitgetsit's channel thanks you for this video!
Even if it’s fake, it still has a placebo effect on everyone that views it positively that’s probably why the sides on which people who have tried it are mainly extremely polarized
Grounding is helping out my health
I have grounded at home on floor tiles for 2-3 years now during warmer weather and need no BP medicine during those times.
I did the exact same thing, ground rod/bedsheet...exact same results haha, but I'll still do it forever since it requires zero effort!
It really works!
i walk around barefoot at the house and everyone thinks its weird and i tell them its for foot strength (i dont want to wear shoes 24/7), but grounding is more than half the reason.
So, are the floors in your house made of earth? I believe that you have to be actually touching Earth to get grounded, not just the floor. Any one correct me if I'm wrong.
@@ddelv583 u r right, but i walk all over barefoot 😆. im always outside too.

I agree completely. It is just to expensive for me in South Africa with the Rand Dollar exchange. I LOVE YOUR GOOD VALUES....
Cancer absolutely exists in nature and with animals who are outside all the time.
But a lot less.
I think there's more evidence to suggest our rampant inflammation is connected to modern diets of ultra processed foods. This accounts for the abnormal rates of desease in pets too.
Well of course it is. That's not to say it's not wise to set up your body up to be in the best state to defend against what our diet does to us.
Look at the fact that your house's plumbing is tied to earth ground per code for safety. So....every time you bathe, you're grounding.
Symbiotic relationship with the earth and our scientific makeup. Everything's energy, we know we can block energy paths but not destroy it. Nature is a flow in all including the body.

My husband was on board until mispronounced "plethora", and I was on board until he mentioned autism. I'm on the autism spectrum. How my brain is wired is not something that needs to be "fixed". I'll still get a grounding mat, because I'm having inflammation issues and I'm too allergic to everything growing to ground in the spring and summer here in Missouri.
and does the mat help? thanks
@@LajosKormos. so we've been sleeping on it for a few weeks now, and aren't going to return it. Usually, when pollen counts get high, I can't breathe through my nose at all. But this pollen season I'm still breathing through my nose! Literally the only change is this mat! So I still think there is something to it (though I still am autistic and have my usual social struggles).
@@chrispatriot it's just frustrating to me because I see it as, my brain is wired to be autistic. It means I've lost jobs and lost friends because I don't understand social normative things. But since getting my diagnosis, when someone looks at me weird or I can sense them getting frustrated with me, now I can just say, "I'm sorry, I'm autistic and ADHD, and I'm not understanding." Suddenly, because I have a word to give a neurotypical person, now people are patient with me?!? Why can't people just let humans human however they want or need to do long as it isn't hurting society?!? The whole idea that my brain is just wired to see the world differently is so offensive to people. We all have differences, why should I have to be "cured" to fit into the idea of what society determines is acceptable? Why did I lose jobs because I couldn't "stay in my lane" (what lane?!? Where?!?) Or because I offended someone (I still think it was idiotic to gossip about people who worked under us, but because I said so outloud to my boss, she stopped giving me work and then delighted in firing me).
@@lbatemon1158 I have 35 years of Psychology and the WORST THING Psychology ever did was allow people to have LABELS!! Just a fact...
Let's do this with an analogy - You have a car, when you drive it, the car seems to pull a little to the left. At first you have to compensate with your hands by slightly turning the wheel in the opposite direction of the way it wants to drift...
THAT is how you correct ADHD, ADDS, etc.. Not by simply getting a pass... The only thing the LABEL means is that by public scrutiny they can't show their frustration. But internally they still have it because you've never learned to be your own MASTER of the issue...
ADHD/ADDS/ETC are symptoms that make you unique.. CORRECT THEM like you would CORRECT the natural tendency of a car to pull to the left or right...

Did it help you at all with menstruation and cramping? This is an issue I've had for a long time
This is fascinating! I'm trying now to move back to the coast for the health benefits (grounding & negative ions!), and also learning about Thalassotherapy (sea/salt water healing).

Fourth day of grounding and I woke up with the worst back pain I've ever felt, could barely get out of bed!
Thanks for sharing and when you said you were 40, I was like WHATTTTTTTT... no way lol!

When you swim in cold water, you are also super grounded !!!!
If I use a separate ground rod outside , route a wire in my bedroom and put a grounding mat under the bed. It appears that my body voltage goes up as the electric field is coupling more with your body. is that a good thing? I'd be attracting more electricity from wires etc
Is it important for me touch the metal or can I have it let's say under the bed. Let's talk technicalities here.
You’re also connecting the the Schumann resonance. 🙏🏼❤️
