    It's all in the shades…. Good review! Every wants to buy US made instruments but the craftsmanship on these Gretsch guitar is outstanding for the price range. Love it.

    A great guitar , used not only by George ,but also by Gerry & the pacemakers , Hilton of the animals , David Crosby in the Byrds , so many others of that era. I love the pups. Great guitar and it looks cool too. Plus it has the gretsch bigsby.

    I find the typo on the description. Should be "It Won't Be Long", not "Wrong", which is a rhyme.
    Anyway, the guitar is my fabourite. I wish I could afford one and have enough space in my house...

    Chet specifically requested the fake F holes to prevent feedback. Takes a little knob twiddling but you can get a great Beatles tone from it, who knew?

    A damn cool performance! thank you :)
    And thanks for bringing in The Beatles with It Won't Be Long :) (My actual reason intending to own this guitar)

    The intro song sounds like the Teen Titans theme haha

  • @TheAerovons
    @TheAerovons 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    The 2nd chord in the chorus to "Happy Together" is not E, but C#m....just to be picky ;) (Hey anything worth playing is worth playing right, right?)

  • @jmflyer55
    @jmflyer55 10 ปีที่แล้ว

    Very nice, but IMO think a different amp would have bettered the Gretsch sound. Either way, great guitar!

    A 'pickup selector' is probably what you mean! #amateur

  • @rorykhanmohon

    Either that amp or the pickups sounded lifeless.

      +Jonathan Mota Great sounding guitar pickups are fine. Stop repeating cliche's. Beatles sounded JUST FINE with this guitar and those pickups lol

      worked okay for Chet Atkins too....

    • @MrJOTAMOTA
      @MrJOTAMOTA 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Im pretty sure the pickups chet and the Beatles used were actually the vintage ones. If you open apart those that are in the modern ones they are just your average humbucker

    • @TheAerovons
      @TheAerovons 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      These are the vintage ones, this is the HT model. The normal Tennessee Rose did not have these. This model was made in response to requests for a Harrison model. Unfortunately it is no longer made.

      @@MrJOTAMOTA Although your comments is several years old now, it needs to be challenged.
      Obviously the beatles and chet atkins were using vintage pickups, this being the 1960s. You'll also find that these are single coils not humbuckers in this guitar. And finally if you open up the TV Jones versions of the old Gretsch pickups you’ll find that they are in fact exact builds of the old ones
