Would be very surprised if this guy doesn't make the show 3-4 yrs down the road at minimum or maybe sooner. Plays the right way & is physical with some offensive chops. He'll go in the 1st for sure.
If the islanders want to be bold, draft this kid at #20 and run. Lamoriello would be a great man if they get a Norwegian to be a replacement for Adam Pelech. Honestly he also looks incredibly dynamic as a puck mover, so this easily can be a slam dunk pick in the future.
I like him. He has that mentality and willingness to lay the lumber on guys that you can't teach along with some solid skills. So many times you see those talented defensemen who want to play a finesse game.
Couple studs from Norway should go right around eachother with him and Brandsegg Nygard both very competitive players. These kids getting to play in pro leagues at such a young age is speeding up their development rapidly even if they’re lower tier pro leagues it’s still preparing them to play against men. There’s a big difference between an 18 year old and a 30 year old.
Been a more than few defenseman compared to Moritz Seider. Stian so far he seems to be the next candidate. I think Stian has better leg drive, quicker burst with his shorter strides. He also has great anticipation to know when to go forward and challenge puck carriers one on one. A limitation is his d partner with Vålerenga may not exactly be able to anticipate what Stian was planning out on the ice Would SY take a chance? maybe......doubt Stian gets past pick 24.
hes D partner in Vålerenga has been changed around a bit, but I am sure h learnt a lot from guys like Kalle Eklund,Tommy Taimi and Daniel Bøen Rockseth, they are very sollid, good players. Solberg has not been the best defenceman in Vålerenga trough the year, but in the end of the season in playoff his game raised to another lvl, before that he had some Junior foults etc.
Jiricek is better defensively and a safer pick, but I like what Solberg brings to the table. Potential for a nice return if he fixes some components of his game.
Two of my personal favorite players in the draft are Terik Parascak and Jesse Pulkinnen, I'd love to hear what you think about them because I really like your content
Been excited to see your thoughts on this guy. I’m personally not as high on him but he could translate into a special shut-down D. I still think Yakemchuk is the bigger hitter but SWOLE-berg is def 2nd
Wouldn't mind at all if the Flyers traded up from 32 to grab this kid. Stick him in the AHL and let him grow there for a season or two before hitting the show
It's unfortunate he's playing in Norway but I think it would be a good move by some NHL team to take him later in the draft. You never know, a couple years in the minors and he may be a surprise later. He looks like he's the type of D that a player likes to stay away from ?
@@julienor9845 He will make that look easy, trust me, he is allmost allready ready for NHL. The smartest thing he ever did was to play in Norway, he got the time to develup and was also given the chance to make mistakes. I hope much more talents stays longer in Norway in the furure. That is not a weaknes but a strength. youre alowed to try and play high pressure games in early age.
Is STIAN SOLBERG the HARDEST HITTER of the 2024 NHL Draft Class? #nhldraft
Hello again, fellow Anaheim fans, happy to see you again after the Sennecke video now checking in to learn about our newest first round draft pick.
This kid is a horse. He will be a radko gudas that adds occasional offense and pairs perfectly with the ducks stacked young blue line
Would be very surprised if this guy doesn't make the show 3-4 yrs down the road at minimum or maybe sooner. Plays the right way & is physical with some offensive chops. He'll go in the 1st for sure.
You can tell he grew up as a forward, head up, not afraid to hold it, has some moves.
Been waiting a while for this one! Thanks a lot great stuff as usual
Thanks!

Seems like a nice middle pairing defensemen! Going to need some development but looks like he has solid base to work from.
Love this guy. Hope the Blues take him at 16 but I have a feeling he'll be gone even before that.
highly doubt he goes top 16
@@matthewcolitti8456 Late rising defensemen with size and pro experience seem to go higher than expected.

love these
Thanks for watching! Cheers!
Wouldn’t be surprised to see him top 10-15
This kid is insane, people should’ve been higher on him; I feel his floor is at least 3rd pairing solid defensive defenseman
Reminds me a bit of Forsling. Skate very similar and very sound all around.
How would you compare him and Adam Jirichek, which one do you feel is better?
Jiricek is better defensively and a safer pick, but I like what Solberg brings to the table. Potential for a nice return if he fixes some components of his game.
Do you plan on doing a video on Sacha Boisvert? Been talked about a bit, but idk much about him
Yup...his video will be out next week!
I hope the St Louis Blues draft him
Could be the next Seider this Kid has an Amazing ceiling he has good floor but really high ceiling
Which is why I hope he drops to 47 so Detroit can take him :)
I could see the Wild maybe even trading back a couple spots and taking this guy
I’d love it if SJ selected him with the 14th pick. Or, if he was available at #33. He plays with an edge you just can’t teach.
Two of my personal favorite players in the draft are Terik Parascak and Jesse Pulkinnen, I'd love to hear what you think about them because I really like your content
Thanks for watching! I am trying to get a video for Parascak. So hopefully I have time. Draft coming up soon!

LOL...SWOLE-berg is a beast! And yes Yakemchuk could definitely be the top hitter as well!
I think he can be the Xhekaj like players for the Sharks
Ik Detroit needs a forward this kid has Yzerman written all over him
Reminds me of Roman Josi
Hoping he's more kronwall than marchment. Kasparaitis would be awesome too
I’d love him or Nygårdd
Sharks no. 14 first round pick? Go Sharks!!!
I'd love for the Sens to get him but #7 is to high to pick him and by #25 he'll be gone :/
Who knows...may slide to that 25!
Wouldn't mind at all if the Flyers traded up from 32 to grab this kid. Stick him in the AHL and let him grow there for a season or two before hitting the show
Can you do please Justin Poirier
Will try...running out of time unfortunately. The draft is only 18 days away!
@@nhldraftpros ok, thanks

He has signed with a team in SHL in sweden. That will be a god test and a step up.
