@@moviestoshare813Kasper's skating is considered an elite skater. Nygaard isn't as quick and smooth but other than that yeah pretty much aside from his scoring being better.
that would be amazing becaus im pretty Brandsegg Nygård is playing for Skellefteå AIK next year, which is also where red wings prospect Axel sandin pellikka is curently playing
Should be there when Detroit picks at #15. Reminds me of Mikael Samuelsson, right hand shot, steady able to get quality chances at the net. Mikael was an okay skater but knew how to find open areas and generate scoring chances.
From watching his play in the junior league it differs a lot than in the pros. He’s much more dynamic in junior and I think his offensive upside would be looked upon differently if he spent the full season there. So when he gets adjusted to the speed of the game we’ll see a more dynamic side from his game in my opinion.
Agreed! He definitely shines more when playing against the same aged peers than against men. He's going to be good...depends on development at this point and how his progression comes along.
Was really not impressed by his play at the World Juniors Then I saw he played in the Allsvenskan this year…….. aaaannnndddd my traumatism from David Pastrnak came back 🥰🙃
Mid 1st is high for just a middle six upside player. If the offense is questionable why not drop him to late 1st? Is it from the Norwegian love or anomaly?
I think it has to do a lot with his floor. There’s very little risk in taking him, and if everything goes right and the offense turns out better than expected it could be a big steal, especially with all the other tools he has. At least that’s what I’ve taken from reading and hearing about him.
I dont think you realise the level swedish hockey leagues have. He is 18 and is two way player. He will get better and better. He scored 4 against Denmark. The kid can score.

Hopefully a future Red Wing come June. Love his game!
He looks like a carbon copy of
Marco Kasper
Not as fluid of skater but a way better shot.

GoBlue-iv2tu has a direct line of contact with Steve Yzerman
Nice call
Reminds me of a prime Jakob Silfverberg. Good two-way winger that’s strong on the boards, solid shot with 2nd line potential
YES! This is a great comparison! BOOM!!!
He's way more physical than Silf. But overall decent comp.
@@bsu88 Agreed in regards to physicality.
Surely not a top10 pick, so we will not see him in Montreal. A hard working player, a good fit on just about any team !!!
Honestly Top notch comparison and both are scandinavians Lol
Welcome to Hockeytown!❤🎉🐙
He shoots the puck like Raymond does. Thats who he reminds me of.
He’s gonna be a fantastic two-way guy
Agreed! Every team needs these types of players.
him and Marco Kasper on a line is gonna be a lot of fun defensively
Thanks for the video
Really hope he's available for Detroit and he seems like an Yzerman pick. Very smart, hard-working, competitive ext..
You are correct...this is a very Detroit-like pick!
You got it dude ! Just thought the same 🎉

You know puck
It just shows how predictable yzerman is. 😂
I'm very happy and optimistic for what he will do for Skellefteå AIK in the SHL this coming season, the latest winners of the SHL! 💛 🖤

This guy will climb hard from the WC
Curious about Helenious
He's next! Saturday release date!
Which team do you think should pick him up
Could go to Detroit at 15.
We'll have him in GR for 5 years...
tij iginla next?

@@nhldraftpros thanks man! Your videos are really great for guys I haven't had time to do a full scout out, keep up the good work!
Those guys should get paid more for wearing Pepto-Bismol colored sweaters.
HAHAHA!!!
Lol the Wings may not become a team that scores a ton of goals .. but they certainly look like theyre gonna be a bitch to play against thats for sure

LGRW
There’s no way he’ll be available at 15, scouts everywhere are all over him
Thankfully he was! Phew!
Well detroit picked him at 15. I believe Larkin was also drafted at 15th too.
So Kevin Stenlund but with better instincts
He looks small and terrible.
6 foot 1 200 pounds small?😂
He'll probably be 6'3'' and 210Ibs by the time he's 21-22 years old.
