unfortunately I doubt the Carcharodons will get any further love than their mere inclusion. same for the Blood Ravens (admittedly the only loyalist chapter I actually like. I'm not big on Space Marines in general but I do love the Dawn of War games). I'm pretty sure those unknown founding chapters they included at launch was basically just a list of chapters that wouldn't properly fit into any of the later DLCs (and even if we do get DLCs for them, I'd bet on them having to wait until after all of the First Founding Chapters have had a turn first).
admittedly I mostly think this because they included Minotaurs in the "Unknown Foundings" category despite the fact that it's known that they were formed during the 21st Founding (also known as the "Cursed Founding"). it really felt like a list of popular chapters that they simply wanted to get out of the way.
of course, I could be wrong, I have no idea what they were thinking really. I'm utterly perplexed as to why they put the Black Templars on the same page as all the First Founding Chapters. maybe every chapter included at launch will get their turn.

Voices as well, I have trouble playing anything but ultramarines because the voicelines really take me out of it personally. I want blood Angel cosmetics as well, honestly an option to remove my characters voicelines would be fine with me just because of how off putting it is.

I really hope they overhaul the CSM customization, it's very aggravating that you can literally only change the colors.
My guess (hope) is that they don't have it at the start because they have an entire chaos dlc for later

All I want for the upcoming patch is invulnerability during a gun strike. And faster loading screens would be nice
Maybe for minimal because that's just low tier easy. But ruthless no it's very easy to maintain it if you understand how to fight and when todo it.
Getting hit while animation locked in gunstrike isnt fun in ANY difficulty. Its stupid.

When I first completed Ruthless the achievement was 0.1 percent, so I don't want to hear some "on higher difficulty..." bs.

You will take damage, always. Its how the game is designed with the hordes of enemies that melee, shoot and throw psychic shit at you from literally everywhere.

After waiting 13 long years, I have to say I'm enjoying this immensely. Sabre has really understood what made the original so much fun and added a bit more depth without ruining the feel of the game.
Topmarks from me, and I'm really, really pleased that it's attracting so much attention from non Warhammer fans who are genuinely excited from what I've seen about our mad little franchise.

I've always been a huuuuuuge Star Wars buff for years and year but the recent stuff from Disney has been kinda meh overall (I havent even watched The Acolyte) but i've recently got into warhammer in the past year or so but only the fantasy side from Total War: Warhammer 3, hadn't touched 40k stuff til yesterday when I picked up Space Marine 2 since evryone was going on and on about it and I have to say I may never go back to Star Wars coz the lore of the Warhammer franchise in both fantasy and 40k is so rich and interesting it genuinely makes me ashamed to have said that Star Wars was my favourite at one point, I wish i'd got into this franchise earlier
This is what i wanted from Halo and Star Wars. Then 2 years ago i became a warhammer fan. Now im like 20 books deep and love it.

Same here my friend, especially SW. I still have enjoyed numerous novels from Legends and occasionally pick up a game if it intrigues me enough whether its an old game Im revisiting or one Iv never played before. Current SW games have been abysmal aside from Jedi Survivor which was solid enough for one playthrough. Iv been thinking about getting into the few SW tabletop games out there since Im already in the tabletop gaming scenes with Warhammer. If GW can start giving me more media and games Ill be very happy because Iv been a novel reader for over a decade and have played the miniature games just as long

Theres absolutely no reason they shouldn't stack up on artists to create cosmetics (Heraldry eapecially) for 3-4 chapters at a time for many years, if there was ever a game to go the Call Of Duty route with their cosmetics ALONGSIDE EARNABLE COSMETICS, Its Space Marine 2.
I showed my 75 year old mother the astartes animation by pederson, she asked if there was a longer film she could watch lol. I said nothing of that caliber, but was able to show her the game cinematics.. she was totally blown away! kept making ooh faces, and saying brutal, lmao

This game should just constantly add campaigns following characters from separate chapters and separate conflicts. Just make the game a massive anthology of DLC 😂.
I’m always down for more Titus, but as a newbie to the 40k universe I’m seeing sooooo much opportunity for loads of content
An anthology of DLC is exactly what this game needs. Mechanicus and necrons in the pariah nexus. Sisters of battle and chaos warbands in imperium nihilus. league of votann standing against an orc waagh. Drukhari raiding the guard. A bunch of 2-3 hour stories with an extra operation and pvp map.
I Really really REALLY hope this success encourages Saber to move to give us what Eternal Crusade failed to bring, imagine if EC had this sort of quality.
I love the Astartes but playing as Eldar and Orks in EC was such a breath of fresh air. It reminded me of back in the late 90s playing a Half life 1 mod called Warhammer 40k: Rival Species, that had Black Templars, Iron Warriors, World Eaters, Goff boys and Craftworld Alaitoc in a Combined Arms FPS (seriously this was before Fire Warrior even).
People should look it up if they want to see a bit of history.

@@Inquisitor_Vex Devs have already said content like missions maps amd weapons are free. Its even free if you look at the roadmap. Only thing that costs money is skins, and compared to plenty of other games atm, the pricing is not that bad

I know you said there would be free content, im just pointing out that even on the roadmap, the only content that says its paid, is cosmetic. So if maps and stuff are locked behind a season pass, they lied and everyone will be pissed
Wolf pelts or Legion of the Damned iconography would be pretty cool to see implemented.
Also, I have a feeling they'll need to push out the swarm mode waaay sooner if they don't want the hype to die down.
And lastly, I understand PvP is a completely separate mode, but I just wish my armor presets would carry over...

It's amazing how well this game is doing, im addicted too it, i've spent hours on each mission looking around at the scenery and design, it's breathtaking
i wonder who will be next after the blood angels dlc. From the looks of it, they might be going in popularity so maybe imperial fists or space wolfs next
I'd bet on it mostly being a matter of unique cosmetics and popular successor chapters
so of course Blood Angels are the first choice, fairly unique appearances and a decent few popular successors (most notably the Lamenters)
after that I wouldn't really consider the Imperial Fists. the Chapter itself is pretty plain appearance-wise (so not many unique cosmetics for the Imperial Fists themselves) and their most popular successor by quite a large margin (the Black Templars) is already included in the base game with a few unique cosmetics of their own.
I'd say the most likely 3 chapters are the Space Wolves, the Salamanders, and the White Scars.
Space Wolves are the definite winner on the cosmetics front but are rather lacking for successor chapters (having a grand total of 3 that are all relatively new to the lore and therefore simply haven't been around for long enough to acquire the same kind of fanbase that older chapters might have).
I could see the Salamanders being a decent choice though, though for them they really should add facial customization (something they have expressed an interest in adding), their chances will probably go up quite a bit if the new weapon in season 4 turns out to be some kind of flamer (since having a bunch of Salamanders without a single flamer in sight feels kinda wrong). the first new weapon we're getting is notably a Volkite weapon which does stand alongside Meltas and flamers as one of the preferred weapon categories of the Salamanders.
and then the White Scars have some decently unique looks and a few popular successors and unlike the Salamanders aren't really missing any of their preferred weapon choices.

Fixed the connection? The last mission took me and my buds almost 2 hours to finish cause of how hard it was for us to connect. Emperor forbid we STAY connected.
What they need to fix really quick is something that people started to do. A few people fought on highest difficulty PVE missions, then when it was almost done and they just had to go to extraction point, they got kicked from the group.
But why do people do this? Just to be scum? No. Apparently when you fight with for example 2 people and a bot, and someone joins at the last point where they just have to get to extraction point, this person also gets all the exp. Which means two strong player use another one to finish the mission, kick him, invite a low level friend and give him tons of exp.
I do hope that Salamanders get their champion pack sooner than later, since they're apparently so popular that they're on the current infantry sheets

They'll be one of the last to receive a champion pack alongside the Iron Hands. They're just the two least popular First Founding chapters.

The massive popularity is a double edged sword. I hope that it remains 40k without today’s politics and ideological agendas worming their way into the franchise. Keep it pure, purge heretical beliefs and embrace the glorious will of the Emperor of Mankind.
Got introduced to Warhammer through Vermintide, actually started actively looking up stuff and understanding things with Total War. Space Marine 2 has helped me understand some of the chapters, and how some of the 40k universe operates, but I’m still more of a Fantasy fan overall! They’re both fantastic but I have my favorite.
I had a random thought, which concerns the absence of the Emperor's Children Traitor Legion within this game. I would hazard a guess that they would possibly arrive either in a series of DLC missions in this game. Or perhaps the devs are saving them for if and when they opt to unveil Space Marine 3 in the near future.
The latter would seem more feasible in my opinion, along with a possible shift from Ultramarines to the Iron Hands as a protagonist Chapter of the Adeptus Astartes. Given that they have quite a history especially after the Istvaan V drop site massacre, it would make sense to me at least. As for xenos enemies, I'm putting my money on either Necrons or Drukhari. But it's all mere speculation.
I wish so bad they without add tau or something. But I agree about the emperors children. I think there will be a dlc campaign. It ended on a cliff hanger kinda.
@@SladeF-ll5rk The Tau and their allies don't necessarily have that horde aspect you'd expect to find in a game like Space Marine. They're much more disciplined and cohesive, a stark contrast to the Orks and Tyranids who for the most part just charge into the fray in vast numbers.
The same can be said for the Kin and Aeldari who are just as methodical as the Tau with their respective tactics. That's why Space Marine 3 should be a toss of the coin between either Necrons or Drukhari.
I started getting into the Lore the closer we got to Early Access. My buddy sent me a list of "starter lore" and things have gone from there. Its been amazing and I love the Lore so much. As long as the dev/studio doesnt do anything crazy it has the best potential of a game right now for longevity. Helldivers is always brought up on this subject and the comparison to this game is immediately drawn, if these guys avoid what Blizzard did with the first big patch for Diablo 4 and what Arrowhead ended up doing with Sony that killed the player base. I have been absolutely LOVING this game, and just want it to remain this good.

finally the Emperors light is reaching the darkest depths of this backwater world.
Personally, a Short of the game Gun's Sounds made me Curious why they sounded so "heavy" both the shooting, the cartridge ejection and the bullet Casing, That got me to spiral down into the space marine's organs and making, and subsequently each Faction, Primarch, Lore stuff, Horus etc. I just have about 3 -4 weeks diving into Lore.
I am a painter and appreciate all the Art and paintings made, and Now im really dying to Paint some massive Battle. Im So Happy I fell into this Grim Dark Rabbit hole lol
Finally 40k gets the respect it deserves and it can get even better by adding things.

I started vermintide 2 like 4 years ago and it got me into all the lore about warhammer and it’s my absolute favorite

Has anyone else had the bug where tyrannids can shoot through most of cargo boxes on the elevator where you have to defend against the gargoyles chewing through the chains?
Dark angels being the next cosmetic release makes me so happy, I want my dark angels winged helmet .
I just wish we could change the colour of the tabards ingame , I’m currently running the dlc bone white ( forgot colour name ) and made all my characters either black Templars or first company dark angels the bone white and red with gold accents so happy

One bug I’ve seen twice (happened to the same mate, he’s on pc) is that during the 4th operation mission at the end heldrake fight, he got caught in a small crack in the ground at the bottom of a rock pillar and couldn’t get out, he could move a tiny amount but couldn’t leave the base of the rock pillar
I bought the ultra edition because I wanted to support the team making this game, I never buy the biggest edition of any game, I really pick and choose if I plan to preorder and I'm glad I did.

I’m one of those with the cpu issues and it’s been unfortunate to say the least. Also my cou is 100% cooled properly and I did the hardest stress test I could find on my cpu and it still hit temps far below space marine 2 even though it was a higher cpu% so yeah. Hope they fix the cpu issues completely and not halfway (a lot of devs lately been doing that but I hope saber r different).

As to new content push - I think we are getting ahead of the hype train here. They need to ensure any bugs etc that happen over the next few months are worked on.

Idk if is been discussed. But the squad leader glitch where none of us could launch any mission. And unkillable enemies. My team and I ran into a problem where we couldn't kill a lesser sorcerer. no matter how many time we mag dumped him (one was a heavy with the melta...). Love the game tho!
PVP is super fun just hope they start releasing some new maps/modes.

Not to nitpick, but playing this game makes me agree with what Gabriel Seth said about Smurf king. 😆😆😆😆 when i am running around in my Black Templars armor and put out my bulwark banner it has ultra marine badges on it!!! Heresy!!!
This game NEEDS a CPU temp fix. I don't wanna cook my cpu/paste so I am waiting for that patch desperately.
I have had to unsub from all my other game channels to make way for all my new Space Marine 2 content creators, that's how much I love Space Marine 2. I have pledged my eternal service. FOR THE EMPEROR!!!!

I've been doing some customization after getting the game yesterday, and i'm so suprised that there's nothing for the Thousand Sons. Literally nothing, can't even get the icons. So weird when they're an enemy faction in the game. Hope they're included in a pack sometime at least...
I’m going to be honest, I think that their current content release schedule isn’t going to keep people entertained up until spring of 2025. I want this game to last forever, and I think that everybody shares that sentiment. I just don’t want it to be another helldivers 2.
That's funny, on September 9th when I got off of work I thought ill do some operations and ended up spending most of my time in loading screens and on multiple occasions got an infinite loading screen! So disappointed.
