I wish you'd included the new TUF A14. While it's not as premium as the Razer Blade or Zephyrus, the HX370 has become insane with recent firmware updates, W11 24H2 and G-helper support, which is an awesome open source piece of software. I've been able to reduce battery drain while watching videos on TH-cam with Firefox (which doesn't have proper hardware acceleration) below 5W, which means that I can watch videos for up to 16 hours on this thing.
I would have loved to include it, and I have been trying to get a sample since it launched here in Germany... no luck yet. :( I had the chance to check it out during Computex and was quite excited about it.
@@NotebookcheckReviews I was lucky to be able to purchase it in France, but it was not cheap at €2000. @@linhtrantuan1655 yeah, the price doesn't feel amazing, but given how insanely expensive everything is at this compact form factor, it's not too bad. The build quality is great, the panel is great. You can tune it extensively using G-helper and the HX370 is a beast of an APU.
I still absolutely love using that one! I hope we will get a successor to it in 2025. I would even go for a G14 pro, very much like the current design, just thicker to accommodate higher-end GPU options!

Price for Acer Nitro 14 is actually about 1100,- € in Germany (Mediamarkt, 19% tax back auction) and Black Friday is coming soon next month. If you get it for about 900,- € then you can't do anything wrong. Even it sounds much more silent in Balanced mode than most the much more expensive others. Best value for money is Nitro 14, no doubt.
The best i think considering price is XMG Core 15 for sure less than 1300€ full metal build, that performance with 4060 and minimal look, its a big YES
I have a 2024 model and I think they should have probably launched it under a different name maybe a ROG flow model. Its a totally different value proposition compared to the previous model. The 2024 is so small it fits into accessories designed for Macbooks. But it can't really serve as a mobile desktop replacement in the way the previous model could. I paid $1100 for a my 4060 g14 which does not serve as my main computer as I do work from a desktop at home. The ideal buyer for a 2024 g14 and a 4090 mini led equipped 2023 model have very different requirements.

Zephyrus with 32gb and 4050 rtx g14 model is probably the best i ever had in my life....the screen weight performance and with ghelper ....no doubt best laptop i ever had
While every 2024 mainstream gaming laptop is either a sidegrade or downgrade over 2023, the XMG Core and Fusion 15 have become the only remotely interesting devices this year. A numpad, upgradable RAM, SSD slots, wifi, gigantic 99wh battery, several ports on the back, adequate cooling temps and wattage in a compact 2.1 kg package is just nuts!
@lov.2.g Actually, you could upgrade one SO-DIMM on the 2020 - 2023 models, and 2023 had 16 GB soldered and one open slot. Now unless you buy the RTX 4070 config for $2000, and obscene amount, you're stuck with 16 GB of FULLY soldered RAM in 2024, which for the price is ridiculous.
@lov.2.g@lov.2.g 2024 Zephyrus is overall a downgrade: no SO-DIMM slot, too many pixels for the dGPUs in gaming and worse cooling. They tried to copy Apple when the G14 was already decently thin and light.
