    Great comparison…I went for a fitting and wound up testing only the T200s and was fitted for them…after they arrived and I hit them on the range and played a bunch of rounds with them, I hated them…I was coming from 2016 Apex/Apex Pro combos…on a whim I tested out the T100S irons and instantly they were 100x better for me…A big part is the turf interaction differences between the T100S and T200. I’m a 10-12 HCP, mostly hindered by injuries (two hip replacements by 53 and shoulder surgery), but I tend to hit the ball solidly, just not with a lot of speed…But, I could never feel the ball/contact with the T200s. They were numb, and that’s a big deal for me…the T100S irons are much more like the Mizuno MP 69/59 combo set I played years ago…very happy with them…Surprisingly, I tried the T300s also, and couldn’t hit them to save my life…just too chunky for my eye and getting consistent contact was problematic! So, don’t be turned off by a smaller head just because the ads say it’s for a “better player”. There are many factors that distinguish better players from others…You could be an overall 15HCP, but be a 7HCP with your irons, 15 with your wedges, and 25 with the driver…

    Great demo. I personally love the look of the T200s and would love to be pulling those clubs from my bag...but I think my skill is still only at the T300 level unfortunately. Hopefully I can keep improving though and graduate to the 200s soon. I hate the thicker look of the “game improvement” irons.

    Great video...especially since I just pre-ordered my T200's. 😉. I think maybe you had an anomaly on the first T300 swing that pushed the spin avg up substantially. Anyway, enjoyed the video very much. Thanks

    I gott fitted for the T100S in 5-GW and 4 iron in T200. 2* flat and AMT Tour White S300 shafts. The T100S went a whole club longer than my current JPX 921 Tour.
    T100S was waaaaaaaaay more forgiving than the JPX 921 Tour.

    The plastic badge at the back of the club face falls off after a few months. A real shame as the performance of these clubs is very good ☹️

    I want the T200's pretty badly but I think my ball striking needs a tiny bit more work to get the most out of them. I'm pretty heely with my Wilson Staff Di9's. Once I move it more consistently to the middle, I might pull the trigger on those. Anyone have thoughts?

    Hi Ali, in the market for new irons and interested in Titleist.
    One thing I don’t get about your results on the T100?
    You average the T100 2021 in the mid 150 yards.
    Looking at your review of the 2019 T100 and your were passing the 170 yards???
    Same loft, launch monitor problem, you got very old in two years?!
    Can you shine some light on this for me please?
    Cheers from Montreal, Canada

    I chose the t300s because of consistency of distance. That's what I want in a club.

  • @danielwinterbottom5531

    I like the look of these but would prefer then in black as that's what I'm used to my heart says t100s gw to 8 then 200 to 5iron then maybe a t200ut 4

    Greetings Ali, just a general question, do you find your iron distances, roll etc to be similiar whether hitting off the mat vs off grass ? Thank you

    Hi Ali
    I'd love to see a T300 2019 Vs T300 2021 match off? To see if the technology has improved?? And worth the upgrade

    • @dougnbodie
      @dougnbodie 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Worth the Upgrade??? I still play on my originally purchased Ping Eye 2 from the late 80's. Sure I've lost about 10 to 12 yards in length but my accuracy with them is unbeatable.....Believe me, I keep trying to buy new clubs but I'd just be throwing my money away.

    I don't really get why good golfers wouldn't pick a T300 over a T100/200? If they get almost the same spin number but way better dispersion and distance?

    • @dickbroomer7877
      @dickbroomer7877 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Q-Bits exactly my thought’s have you had any answer’s, I have noticed some of the testers asking themselves the same question, Dickey

      Im not a good player,but I just bought a set of t100s,in my opinion better looking and sounds are worth lost some distance and forgiveness!but t300 or 200 definitely the better choice for me for sure

    Disparity in carry distance on the T100s is concerning - major punishment on toe strikes.

    Do all of the T300 irons have tungsten weighting or just 4-7?

    • @dickbroomer7877
      @dickbroomer7877 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Ski 350 did you get an answer, I think the tungsten weight stops at 7iron, you may see on the TXG TH-cam video when they hit some wedges Dickey

  • @SlatsSSN21
    @SlatsSSN21 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    The original T300 model had weight type nodule on the irons from 4 through to 7 iron, with 8 and shorter not having this, does the new T300 model have the new type of nodule only down to 7 iron, or do they all have them?

    Thoughts on a combo set 4-6 in t200 and 7-pw in t100s?

  • @brianfong3954
    @brianfong3954 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Been hitting the T200, got to wonder if it is worth the upgrade since I've only have had the set a year and a half.
    What about seeing if a 1/2 set, either the short or long irons would be worth investing?

    Should have taken out the 1 severe poor strike for the T100s. It ruined the average for the T100s and the dispersion. Was not a fair comparison.

    149 to 164 yds between bad and good 7-iron strikes.. the T100 is definitely for the better player

    Fed up of hearing about looks. Completely irrelevant. Performance is the only thing to consider
