I bought the first version of the T300 irons and love the feel and ball flight.... I have tried several types of irons in this category of game improvement Irons over last 8 years and the Titleist T300 have performed better than anything.... Titleist has done an excellent job with the T Series of irons and woods I wood highly recommend someone testing the T300 irons if your looking for new irons 👍
Love the irons but I miss the fitting videos when you were signed by Titleist. The video content back then was on another level in comparison to Srixon.
I got fitted for new irons last year and loved the T300s. Felt the best to me compared against the other brands. The ‘power bat’ may not be their main focus area but even so, can’t deny they just make good products. Have given me huge confidence boost since got them.
I got fitted into t300s last year. Loved the short and mid irons, but the long irons were not easy to game - super toe down due to the size of the club head and regular flex shaft. Took some lessons, and moved on to z585 irons. Love em, all the help and workability I need in a set of irons.
What is your speed swing for a 7 iron? Carry distance? I have g 25s since they came out but now with being mid 60s I definitely need to go to soft regular flex and a lighter weight shaft in grams like between maybe 50 and 60 grams. My g25 tfc graphite shaft is 74 grams. Too heavy for me now. Thanks
I got fitted for the 300’s. I hit 5 different clubs. Out of them all the titleist felt and preformed the best for me. I need the forgiveness and higher launch. 22.9 handicap.
Fantastic review of these clubs. Interesting that you appeared to hit the t300 better. I think I will definitely try these out. Great review and thanks.
Got a full fitting on Friday…tried the new T300 with a graphite shaft , was amazed in gapping I found…Cant wait to game them when they come in!!! Thank you Mark for your videos they have helped me understand my gapping and much more!
Just been fitted for a combo set. T200 5 iron, T100 6,7,8 MB 9, PW. Lofts adjusted to blend. The feel of the T100s are as good as the MB”s . I was surprised by the T200. Felt better than expected and really easy to hit! I’ve been a Mizuno player for 10 years so this is a big move for me
Just watched the video, very interesting review. I used to game the Titleist AP2 irons and have very recently switched to the T200's. Honestly, best decision I could have made! I loved my AP2's, the look, feel and performance. But early winter morning long irons aren't always fun to hit. With the T200's that has changed. They an absolute pleasure to hit, so forgiving and performs great!
I’m the same situation. Came from the 716cb’s but had the 714 AP2’s before that. Just got my T200s & it’s just perfect! I don’t mind the help! Long & straight is easy with these.
Thanks for the positive affirmation on my purchase of the T200 irons. Titleist Club fitters came to my Club a couple weeks ago and I tried out all of the new irons with an assortmaent of shafts and head adhustments. I felt the 300s were probably the best for my current game but that the 200s were better looking and would last longer in my bag. I am replacing 2 year old Callaway irons and although there was nothing reallty wrong with the Callaways, felt I hit a better ball with the Titleists.
I was fitted last year for the 100s and thoroughly enjoyed them this season. Then.......the new T200's came into the shop and there is no looking back. Hula hoop dispersion and I am ecstatic at how these clubs play.
I am gaming the last version of the T200. Whatever the material on the back of the cavity is, it is susceptible to dings from club clatter. I think they probably put the badge over it to protect the back of the face. BTW.. absolutely love my T200's.
I would probably go for the 200’s I personally like the look of them more, Would probably help my game the most as well but obviously would test all these before making any commitment.
I played a few rounds with prior Gen T300 irons and they performed absolutely amazing. One thing I could not get over was the difference in sound and feel between the long irons and mid to short irons that lost the power button. I wonder if that was addressed in this new line.
Love the fact that Titleist are not just resisting the Cobra-itis (too much unnecessary branding on back of club) trend of this year's irons, but have gone the other way. Would need to see the clubs before actually making a decision but both T100 & T200 are nice looking clubs at least IMO. As I play i210s I will not be changing but if I was these would definitely an option for me - maybe T100s
I have the previous T200s, and though I don’t find the new design particularly appealing, the minimalist side of me loves the lack of visible tech. The ostentatious part of me liked the “button” on the older t200s
Great review. Just got an iron fitting done at Club Champion…I went in looking to try the Mizuno JPX HM Pros, Taylormade P790s, Callaway Apex, PXG TP 0311s, the Srixon ZX5s, and lastly the T200…that was in the order I preferred them…it came down to a dual between the Srixon and Titleist, but overall feel, consistency, shot pattern, and distance went to the T200. On the higher irons it does tend to have a slight clicky sound, but I’ll get used to it if it keeps performing the way it did! No regrets whatsoever! Can’t wait to hit the course with them! I am not turned off by the back plate…
@@M111OVD yeah. I don't know why all manufacturers don't do that with all cavity backs or muscle backs. It's looks way sleeker. Even the T300 would look better if they enclosed the cavity in my opinion.
Just bought the prior gen t300 with the amt red 300 series stiff shaft. Hitting my irons with an of average 20-30 yards increase compared to my old set
i have the original T200's and love them. Had then custom fit, 0.5" longer, 1 degree upright, 2 additional wraps and custom shaft. Disappointed that Titleist would release new irons when they really haven't changed. All they did with the T200 is hide the tech with a plastic plate trying to make them look more premium like blades which did the opposite and really cheapens then in my opinion. I am glad to see them reduce the offset though. I'll stick with my original T200, thank you very much. Thanks for the review Mark. Love ur videos. Keep it up bro.
Agree on the back of the T200. Frankly the back of the T300 looks better. I would consider T100S up to 6 and probably the T300 in 4/5 or just go hybrid too bad the T200 could not mute the sound more. It almost feels like the engineers ran out of time trying to improve T200 internals before release. Put a plastic badge on it and ship it ?
Good review. Mark. I currently have the incumbent T200 irons, which I love, but I'll definitely consider the new T200 irons, despite the sound. They look awesome and sit just in the middle of forgiving and looks.
I ordered the previous version of t300. They still haven’t arrived. I didn’t mind the old styling but the updated version does look good as well. Hopefully they get mine made soon!
Awesome review Mark. I recently just got fitted for new irons and it came down to the T200’s and Mizuno 225’s. Obviously so many people love the classic look of the Mizuno and I’ve been a huge Mizuno fan for years. The Titleist T200 I just went with a gut feeling, numbers were basically identical as the mizuno’s. I understand they don’t sound as solid or generally different to other clubs but that’s a bottom priority for me. I look forward to when the new irons arrive and hopefully it’s a set I have a nice few seasons with.
I'm gaming some Taylor Made 790s with the rather suspicious-sounding speed foam. It's been a decent upgrade from my old Callaway Diablos. I've also set my ego aside and started gaming some hybrids. It has made a big difference in my 180-220 yard game. Keep up the good work.
Ive enjoyed my T200’s cant say that the new ones got me jealous…but glad to see they stood out for ya. As my ball striking and power have greatly improved over the last year ive been thinking about the 100’s and i think these new ones look dope as heck.
I have started a fitting process. T200s are at the top of everything I have tried. +10m (7i) and killed dispersion. I never thought I would love the design of the club category for I have always played forged blades and CB. But, the look, the topline, are amazing. To be honest I prefer the topline of the T200s to the T100. 7i looks more sharp, less rounded hosel.
What a brilliant and honest review! I LOVE the look of the T200’s, but your observation of the plastic bit on the back has really made me think! Keep it up
Currently gaming the AP3 irons. Almost 600 rounds with them. Getting a bit dinged up. The current model T200 never looked good to me. The new T200 is much cleaner looking. Glad they used the badge to hide everything in back. The T100 and T100S however really look nice. Will definitely be testing these out.
I thought i was in the chunky munky market. I hit a lot of the new cavity back irons out and didn't like the feel or sound of any of them. I also hit the new Titleist range and the rogue st pros. The cavity backs were clicky and hard and I sprayed them everywhere too. Found i liked the dispersion i got with the t100s and the sound and feel, although not as soft as my mizuno mp33s, was more my speed. Ordered them last week and now I'm just waiting.... not so patiently. Let me note as well that I tried 8 different shafts as well, which you could argue is of more importance than the head when it comes to dispersion distance and left to right wise
The clicky sound is a non factor for me, unfortunately my game is not suited for the 200's. The 300's are the better option as I am a 18-20 handicapper. Trying to find the best option for my game. Thank you for all of your in depth reviews, great stuff!
T100 6iron-AW, T200 5iron, and T300 4iron. I have to admit that I'm not the biggest fan of how the T300 looks, but having it at the longer end, it works T100's are gorgeous and feel the best, and my one T200 is straight and consistent. Overall, super confident with my irons
im just learning to play. was given a set of Cleveland Quadpro's, w/ graphite shafts. Seem ok, they are the only club ive tried so far. enjoying your club reviews.
Great video as always. I absolutely agree with your comments on the back of the T200. It looks cheap, it sounds cheap and for almost 200 Euros per club I will look at other clubs like Cobra ForgedTech or even Taylormade P790:-) Same performance but better looks and sound.
I will possibly test them if and when I feel a change is needed but will more than likely stick to whatever Ping have out at the time, have played them for the last 20 years or so and haven’t had a bad set yet.
Got fitted for the Titleist T100S in 5-AW and 4 iron in T200. With AMT Tour White S300 shaft. The T100S/T200 was much more forgiving than the JPX 921 Tour. Love the T100S looks, feel and sound. T100S was a whole club longer than my JPX 921 Tour. I was seeking more distance witout losing the looks and feel.
I’m waiting on mine to arrive in a week or so🤞🏼. I went with 5-PW in 100S. Amazing at my fitting. How is the 5? Would you have gone with T200 in 5 also looking back?
I have the T200 & 100 blended set. The longer irons have a nice launch (T200) and still have the workability of a player’s iron. I went with the 2019 original version of the 200, it has a better sound than the 2021 version. T100 is the 2021 iteration, although I would argue both versions are amazing, only difference I see is the cleaner, classic look of the newer 100.
Great review. IMHO, 100 sounded the best, 200 looked the best, & 300 is where my game falls on the spectrum haha. I don’t love the look of the 300...I think there are actually better looking options for that sort/level of club but I would have no problems at all playing the 300s. I wish my game was good enough to justify carrying the 200s. The sound didn’t bother me at all in comparison to the 100.
I have tried Titleist irons several times per year over the past 12-15. Never seemed to get on with them. Have the Titleist driver and hybrid in the bag. Personal choice is Mizuno irons.
I'm playing the original T200s and love them. Not overly keen on the look of the new model, would love to be good enough to play the T100s but I need the bit of forgiveness that the T200s give me.
Mark, hitting the T200 with the slightly squishier Q Star Tour ball, would that make a lot of difference considering the other 2 were hit using your "gamer" ball? Not being confident ball striker, I was wondering whether that would make a difference? Back when I got into golf again seriously, I did test the Titleist irons, before getting fit for a bag full of Callaway sticks. Price won out then. Today my knowledge would allow me to give them another go for sure.
I have an idea that the back of each manufacturer’s irons should be tapped to see how they compare. Personally it’s something I have never done. Should try it on my 716 AP2s and T zoids!
Was thinking of getting T100 or T100S even, if I went with a switch to Titleist iron set. Although I love my P770’s and have only started gaming them this year! T200 I agree that the backs make them look cheap. Like an afterthought or possibly last minute correction in development. T300 look like nice, but would say those are for seniors or someone starting out and why not just get a set pf P790’s if you need help like that.
Tried the T400 irons excellent very long and forgiving but lofts so strong presents problems at lower end and the graphite shaft I need is £175 per club very expensive. The Callaway DCB which is forged at £157 was excellent and my front runner with sensible lofts and gapping and offers Macdaddy CB wedges. The Sim maxO/S and hot metal 921 good but trail the others. Still have to try the Cobra Radspeed irons.
I had a chance to see these at my local fitter the other day. I was surprised how much chunkier the T200 appeared compared to the outgoing version. Definitely off putting, The T100 looks so much better in person than photos as well.
Thinking of mix matching: my 7 iron has a big range from 168 to 190: never hit my 5 or 6 well but my 3 iron goes 205 to 220. Thinking a blend of t200 2,3,4 and t300 7 thru AW would fit my game. Thx for the video.
A blend I’m thinking about: T100S 8 (36*) through PW. T200 6 (28*) and 7 (bent 1 weak to 32*). Then T300 5 bent 1 weak to 24*. Even with a gap, sand and lob wedge, that leaves room for three clubs between driver and that strong, chunky 5 iron.
Definitely getting new Titleist irons this year. Currently have a 716 MB/CB/T-MB combo. Leaning heavily towards T100 PW-6 with a weak T200 5 iron. Watching Titleist’s info, the insert on the back of the T200 is polymer and tuned for sound and feel. Don’t know if it will hold up as well as my T-MB 4 and 5 iron?
Original ap2’s, Taylormade m1 irons(the best and most forgiving irons until the rubber inserts fell out) and now Taylormade speedblades( nippon shafts) I’ve tried them all thank you ebay. 10 handicap.
What irons are in your golf bag right now golfers?
Cobra King Tour MIM, love them.
I’ve gamed the AP2s and MBs to a decent standard but have my old callaway x14s in the bag and still going great.
I have the T200 currently. But the new T200 look sleek looking forward to testing some
716 AP2, been hard to beat still

I love the back look of the T200 but ended up gaming the 300s. Just an incredible club! I like the looks. Not chunky compared to their competitors

I have the T300s from 2019. When I got fitted for them I preferred the look compared to other brands and felt more confident hitting them.
Now that I’ve seen the new t200 and played with them I take it all back they are brilliant
Fantastic review of these clubs. Interesting that you appeared to hit the t300 better. I think I will definitely try these out. Great review and thanks.

Always been a Wilson Staff Tour Blade man. Never seen a need to change. 200 looks very smart though.
I have played a Titleist MB/CB combo for years, and the new T100 is the first club that that is really tempting me to move away from a forged blade.
I actually like the look of the 200, doesn’t put me off at all.
I’ve got t300s, loved the look of those t200s, especially the back. Then you started tapping it haha not anymore
Never played titiast irons. I wanted a 915 driver loved the color and look at the time.
Blend 300 +200; 100 longs with CB mids, MB on the short end, Vokey, Scotty. Multi layered ball brand of choice.
The T200 look amazing!
Really good review Mark
I really like the clean look of the 200's, I'm playing the cobra speedzone/ super light
currently using AP1 (2018) and plan to test drive T200.
I was going for T300 but got T200 was hitting and feeling better. A bit worry because usually play with bigger clubs.
I play the 620CB’s, glad they didn’t update them so I don’t have the temptation to upgrade 😂
haha same here
Same here 🤣
P790's, was looking at some new 200's so might wait to test the new model
I've got AP2 718s and don't feel any of the last few iterations of titleist irons have matched up to them yet!
I play the 718 CBs and like the look of the 200s but will stick with my current set as I have them pretty dialed at the moment.
little dot thing on the back , great review again mark
Got the “original” T100’s and absolutely love them. But I am intrigued about the new 200’s seems a really really good club
Looking forward to this. Hello from Western Australia
g'day
Mark, hitting the T200 with the slightly squishier Q Star Tour ball, would that make a lot of difference considering the other 2 were hit using your "gamer" ball? Not being confident ball striker, I was wondering whether that would make a difference? Back when I got into golf again seriously, I did test the Titleist irons, before getting fit for a bag full of Callaway sticks. Price won out then. Today my knowledge would allow me to give them another go for sure.
Last generation T100 was hard as a rock. Hope they fixed that this time around.
Nice job, good video.
Srixon ZX 5 and they awesome.
Currently playing P760’s…definitely interested in getting fit for the t200/t100 split set.
Original ap2’s, Taylormade m1 irons(the best and most forgiving irons until the rubber inserts fell out) and now Taylormade speedblades( nippon shafts) I’ve tried them all thank you ebay. 10 handicap.
