i think you should get shimano miravel because it is lighter than nasci. miravel come from vanford (lightweight) dna and nasci from stradic (power) dna. for me, i also prefer the revros ex, legalis and exceler. hope it help.
@@Catchorrelease1 the only problem for daiwa revros ex, legalis and exceler is the on/off switch for the anti reverse. i prefer they remove it and it will be great. 😅 i love how daiwa make it simple and easy for maintenance purpose.
Miravel is basically a lighter weight Sahara, as it shares much more of the dna of Sahara than vanford or ultegra. Do yourself a favour and spend a few extra bucks… ultegra and vanford have the lighter weight, the worm gear for better line lay and a long spool for slightly better casting. Miravel is basically lipstick on a pig))
i have a bad experience with my daiwa fuego and regal.they both have a noticeable play at the handle.they also have an anti reverse which is the entry point of saltwater during splash. it is a useless feature.if you want a light reel, you can try miravel or ultegra and see the difference.1000 series weighs 185g.smoothness is uncomparable to daiwa.
I will consider the miravel and/or the ultegra! Thank you. I also own a Shimano scorpion dc and a diawa tatula sv tw103 and always go back to the daiwa. But shimanos do feel really smooth
@@Catchorrelease1ultegra is awesome, I have the jdm 2000 and 2500 North American version, and both rock! Vanford performance and features ( minus the ultralight rotor, which is hard to notice) at a very reasonable price.
They are both very good reels but the daiwas are definitely lighter than the equivalent shimano reel.Cant really go wrong with either imo.
I agree.

Thanks for the recommendation! I haven’t used the miravel but have heard about them. I do have the legalis and revros and do enjoy them very much!

Most definitely! Daiwa has been my fav company so far.
@@Catchorrelease1 indeed.

I was more looking for a 1000 sized reel
Shoulda gotta a stella 1k
