Ceramic Coating A Motorcycle Helmet (Amazing Results!)

  • So I had a friend ask me if I could do a ceramic coating on his new motorcycle helmet. I said "Heck yeah I can!". So in this video we are going to put a CQuartz ceramic coating in this Bell helmet and see what kind of water beading and repellency we get.

    i did this to my helmet and i ruined it, even in foggy or slightly humid times, the visor stays soaking wet with beads everywhere, its always wet and blurry...

      That stinks. The friend I did this one for didn't mention any problems with it. I wonder if different brands of ceramic coating react differently.

      It fogging up on the inside or outside. I used this method and had no problems. If it's fogging up on the inside then then that has nothing to do with the coating unless you put it on the inside of your visor. If water is beading up on the outside then congrats it's doing what is supposed to. Ceramic coating on the outside, shaving gel or pinlock on the inside. And it won't be ruined unless you can't follow instructions
