I was there at the Mecum auction at South Point this year and I was surprised how cheap some of the bikes went for. I wish I would have sign up as a bidder
Had a bad wreck on a Texas Hwy with 2 lanes in each direction and railroad track running beside it. Never expected a car to be completely stopped in the left lane waiting for a train to cross the entrance it was turning left into. There was lots of ground on opposite side of highway to have made it wider with a turn lane, or prohibit left turns due to left lane being a passing lane in which I started passing a slow semi and trailer before able to see stopped small car, just catching the rear bumper against the left side of my 1981 CB 750 Custom Honda and left leg, throwing me unconsciously to the side of highway on my back after my forehead was cut from going through the windshield of the fully dressed bike. Fiberglass saddle bags may have helped some as my rear wheel was sliding around to hit the rear of car after my front wheel was fully cranked right and brakes locked on barely missing it as last I remembered before awakening in hospital. After repairing it to barely run again with slightly bent shaft for the electronic ignition system on left side and sealing the cracked cover with silicone, I was riding again, without any reservations.
3 months later and your riding then it wasn't a bad wreck..thank goodness..I was sitting at a red light and a fine example of a classy lady probably named Latasha or laquisha rear ended me throwing me and my 1200 Suzuki bandit in traffic..the bike got ran over by a FedEx truck passing by doing about 50 I got lucky and just bounced off the truck.. broke my pelvis/hip/ruptured spleen..etc..etc..got rushed to county hospital and they opened me up to stop the internal bleeding from the ruptured spleen.. when I woke up everything was still broken but they couldn't do the surgery because it was too complicated for there orthopedic surgeon so the VA sent 2 surgeons to county hospital because I couldn't be moved..after surgery I was moved to VA facility and learned to walk again a few months later.. I was riding my gsxr1000 a year later.. Latasha had no license/no insurance/no valid registration..I never got a dime.
Glad you recovered! Only two kinds of riders, ones who have been down and ones who haven’t gone down yet. I’ve been riding in NYC/Long Island for 20+ years; if you ride like nobody can see you and wear gear, you’re gonna be great. Best of luck this riding season!
You've probably heard it a thousand times, but your enthusiasm is truly contagious. And it is just the second Video. Was never into Bikes or Cars and don´t even own one, but there were some truly nice Bikes and it was fun to watch.
(The Honda CBX went for $22,000. It had 15,477 miles, "Unrestored highly original condition", "Correct replacement exhaust". OTOH, another red '79 CBX sold for $38,500 in 2022: 9,155 miles, 1 owner, "stored under cover indoors for last 40 years".)
The '79 CBX 38,500$ equals 962$ a year, roughly 80$ to the month and 2,67$ a day minus expenses, for depriving you of the joy of rideing such a bike. Was it real glory? To posterity the arduous sentence. (italian saying).
I don’t understand the prices on the 70s Japanese bikes. At the time they were considered boring looking, basic commuter bikes that no one even bothered to pay attention to when they drove by.
7k for that mt01 is a bargain theyre amazing machines and becoming rare here in the uk, how they were never allowed in the states is madness! Been the proud owner of one for the last 11 years... please do a video on that bike and give it the respect it deserves
@@kempo900the decision to not sell in the US market was all Yamaha. They decided they wouldn’t sell enough to justify. I’ll never understand that thinking as a bike doesn’t take much space to ship.
It's the luring people into talking to Intelligence Agents about things going on around them in their locals, that's little uncomfortable. But looks like it pays well. :')
RE: MT01 : That was my bike you bought. 13:00 , 16:36, 21:53 I bought it from a Bonham auction years ago. It is currently registered in Cali. If they had the Mecum plate on it, People wouldn't have known that, and it kept the price down. I paid $ 12,000 for it and had a reserve of $ 10,000. That was me on the left side of the stage with a light blue t shirt. I was there to lift reserve if bidding slowed down. I sold 22 bikes at the auction, which may have included some of the Buells you were looking at. Hollar at me if you want some more background info on the MT 01.
I've got 2 favorite Bikes and Beards video types, 1. Craig videos 2. Auction videos Now if we got a Craig and Sean auction-off video, id lose my mind. Maybe like compete to buy the best cheap bike at an auction, or even better, buy the bike they think would make them the best profit at an auction and see who sells for more.
I would imagine if he could he would. And he would give them away. I think you’re all missing the point though. “Spirit and truth” that’s it. It all comes down to love. Don’t be jealous of those who can. Become someone who will. His success is simple. It’s faith. Faith in himself. Faith in his family. Faith in his friends. And faith in our father. That’s it! I’m grateful for his success. He works very hard. And deserves all the glory!
Those MT-01's are a BLAST to ride. Test road one up here in Canada when they were new and the dealer had a demo day. So much torque and the sound is unreal, especially with that Akrapovic exhaust on it. I never realized the US missed out on that one.
Hoss that ain’t no cowboy hat 😂 That’s what we call a “drunk tuber hat” you know the hat you wear when floating down the river in one tube and cooler in another tube
Oh Man,,,! I wish I was still playin' around with bikes as you do. I just sold my customized '81 Gold Wing that I had since 1985 for $100 Canadian, and my heart's broken. I hear its going up on the new owner's shop wall as a conversation piece. That made me feel a bit better. Now I'm in Japan with no bike, no tools, but I have a lovely Japanese wife. I still miss the bike though. It's been good, watching your videos, Sir. It keeps reminding me who I've always been. I'm a biker at heart.
Glad to meet you at the auction Sean! This is making me wish I'd bought some different bikes too, If the Beta has no improvements over my 93 you'll still really like it!
I want to thank you. Aside from the fact this is an awesome channel, you truly bless my life. The verse of today really helped me. I have been going through a difficult time because my family have been struggling financially especially since I have been out of work since August of 2021 as I am waiting for social security do to a disability. And my wife has tumors in her liver. That said we love the Lord and this word has reminded me that He is faithful regardless and will keep His covenant as long as we love and keep His commandments. Thank you for what you do it truly is blessing my life.
Thanks for posting this. I too am struggling with Social Security disability. I am alone and lost my social security 6 months ago due to the people that handle my Social Security funds totally screwing up. From when I got denied five times 20 years ago with my leg being amputated below the knee, to having to go through reaffirming that I am still disabled every 3 to 4 years, it can be really frustrating. Thanks for reminding me that God will get me through this just like everything else He has carried me through
Can't wait to see everything. I'm especially excited to see the Interceptor! I loved those when the came out, always thought they were cool and unique.
And ate their cams. They didn’t line bore the cam caps properly plus you needed a special tool to lift the cam when you adjusted the tappets to mimic oil pressure, which nobody had.
Trials riding is actually the first type of “motorcycle” riding I learned with my best friend as a kid. Out of the mini bikes and into the Yamaha TY80’s. What an absolute blast that was and ended up being extremely valuable experience for the upcoming neuron riding we advanced to. 👍🏻😎👍🏻
I have 2 1983 Honda Interceptors, I hope she runs, the ignitor boxes like to go bad, they do make replacements. Also good luck on the carbs if you have to pull them.
I’m sure you will enjoy the MT01 but the gloss comes off when you: a) try to get dirt out of all the tiny crevices which can be seen but not reached. b) spend the rest of the day, which started as a simple cleaning job, going round tightening up all the loose bolts which you found during cleaning. Vibration from those huge pistons isn’t obvious but its ability to loosen nuts is amazing.
@@mtlnascarfan I’m not a fan of Loctite Red; dismantling (according to Loctite) requires heating the nut to 500C. The alternative of a 6 flat socket and a gun is depreciated by Loctite because it’s potentially damaging. Hylomar has been my favourite thread locker for many years. Historical It’s been an expensive system but the joy of spraying HyloClean (Acetone) onto a HyloGrip nut and later spinning it off with ease was worth every penny; these days the Internet’s made it more available - a good thing. Personally I’ve a preference for the medium hold stuff, it’s a bit gloopy. It doesn’t run away if you get distracted so no cleaning up if tea appears after application. It’s Dark Blue and numbered 2143. The high strength liquid thread lock is Dark Green and I avoid it because it’s much harder to free off (but I’ve never resorted to heat). The bike belonged to a mate who loved it, me - I thought it was a marvellous example of the application of CAD to create that show bike but my old NSU SportMax was more comfortable cruising and my Dad’s MAC a more deserving candidate for a concerted cleaning effort! It takes all sorts and I love most of them.
I paid $5k for a like-new Victory with 4,000 miles on it. Harley’s are just too dang pricey for what you get. Thanks for showing the ins and outs of the Mecum auction, very cool guys!
Victory doesn't exactly have the best track record of Reliability or Parts availability, that's part of the reason why people Dump them....nor do you see many of them on the road according to the dealers I spoke to.... HD might be pricey, but they hold their value when you Trade or Sell....so that's important for many people, nothing worse than trading for a new bike and basically Giving it away for nothing......and at least there's HD Dealerships Everywhere, parts are plentiful and cheap compared to other brands, they Do have a fast and efficient service department. When I go to my Honda or Kawasaki dealer, it's always a pain to get anything.
@@94SexyStang that’s a strange view, regularly seeing Vic engines hitting 100-150k miles with no issues. When I bought the bike, it had sat for years, and I had no problems at all easily finding ignition coil, fuel pump, tires, starter relay, battery, stator, belt, wheels, swingarm, brake parts. I only needed to replace the fuel pump, but all of that was readily available for a discontinued 2006 bike. Sorry my man, but everything you said about their reliability and parts, just isn’t true.
Nope, we had them in Australia. Great fun to ride but they liked a drink. You’re lucky to 100 klms out of a tank when you’re up it for the rent. Yamaha released 3 stages of tuning for it as well. The one I rode was stage 3 tune and it was awesome fun!
The funny part is that I didn’t know your channel a year ago , I saw one video where you were buying an motorcycle in a crate . The same day in my lunch break I went to a Circle C store… oups in Montreal it is a Couche-Tard and I saw an old 1982 Honda 450 Hawk same color and year of my old Honda and guess what? I in graves the serial number of my old bike and it was the bike that I use to owned . Now I need to buy one 😊
My brother used to buy BIKE'S still in the crate a TT 600 Yamaha back in the mid 80s for 1500$ the shop had gone under so the shop owner had them storage in a steel garage After a few years he easily tripled his money
Coffee came out of my nose and went all over the keyboard and monitor when you told that guy to find you at cleetus McFarland TH-cam channel... God knows i needed a good laugh 😂😂😂😂
It's funny about the MT01. We got them in Canada but nobody wanted them. Wrong engine for a standard style chassis. All torque, no revs and just a strange design. I see them for sale often for around $4000 CAD.
The Yamaha MT01 has to be the worst bike I ever tested when I was with one of the UK magazines. It is 1700cc but the bike really felt underpowered and the thing is HEAVY with suspension set up for a much lighter bike.. I had to ride the thing at the test track which also had a 2 mile long straight and it was the ONLY bike I couldn't ride flat out on that straight as it felt sketchy as hell over 110mph.. I didn't think any manufacturer built a really bad bike anymore but that was one BAD bike.. It has a cult following but it seems to be a lifestyle bike and not one to be ridden day to day or over any real distance...
I had one of those 2 stroke "wild cards" but mine was a 97. You will not ever have that kind of so much fun on another bike. Not meant to jump over cars, though it could, the fun starts going up rivers, following mountain goat trails and since the tires run on practically no air, 0.7 kg, it adapts to terrain rather than destroy it. Many of those are street legal in my area, theres a long ride kit that includes a foam seat and Ive also seen home built versions.
@@david-468 45 ?? At least 25 mph full speed but you wont, the engine will scream and soon seize. I live in Spain, they are not going to let you get away with having anything without tagging it, taxing it and testing it every year. For which the bike comes with a kit so you can go and pass your motorbike test with blinkers and a proper tag. Then you take it all off till next year.
@@Chrissurfs ahh I gotcha “street legal” yeah most states in the U.S. don’t require emissions tests/inspections , however if the cops catch you riding something illegal they’ll fine you or imprison you and fine you, the state makes more money that way instead of telling you what’s illegal
@@david-468 most of the times its common sense in the US. Im sure you dont get cops on enduro bikes following you around the desert or mountain to make sure you have insurance. Youd get the ticket on public roads in the US. But youd be uncomfortable riding this on road. Maybe a couple of miles , B roads on your way to the track. Those trial tires are not cheap and they are the softest rubber that erase away on asphalt.
@@Chrissurfs actually there are cops In America who drive atvs and give tickets to dirt bikers and atvs in deserts and mountains lol they might not care about insurance but they will ticket you In some places if you don’t have that stupid orange flag on your bike
I absolutely LOVED my CBX!! I got that bike as a barter/trade and it only had 270 miles on it. The guy bought it as his first “large street bike” and it just made him nervous. So it sat for 6 years before he decided to get rid of it. Lucky me, right place right time. That thing was so smooth at highways speeds. And you are absolutely correct. It was completely stock and sounded perfect without being overly loud. Loved everything about that bike. 👍🏻😎👍🏻
Nice video I had the Beta alp here in France - yours looks like it is in pretty good condition..... mine was terrible - I was very happy to sell it... a very rough 2 stroke engine its better to get a modern trials bike with smoother engine for starting trials . Watch for corroded water pump area which is built into the motor block, they tend to be corroded/leaky if motor has been left standing with water or even coolant in the system. I also had lots of slipping clutch even after spring replacement, new plates and correct fluid.
I sold my 2011 roadking and purchased a 2014 street glide. I have regretted it ever since. I love my street glide, but my road king was so beautiful and so many memories.
I owned a couple of trials bikes in my youth, a Beamish Suzuki RL250 and a Yamaha TY174. You will find your Beta incredibly light and extremely undergeared, i fitted bigger front sprockets for road use on them but they would still climb up the side of a house.
Yeah it's a fun bike while it works, though it gets expensive when it decides it wants a rest. I had nothing but problems with the cam chains on mine. After the first repair failed, the shop repaired it again under warranty. I was sick of it by then and traded it (on a 1989 GSXR1100K) at another dealer, and the engine died again on them. I don't know the specifics of what causes the issue, but apparently the cam chain problems were solved when Honda moved from VF to the VFR model.
A buddy of mine had a V45 Interceptor back in '83. If memory serves it was 700cc. I noticed that bike when you walked past it and the 1000 or 1100 RR. Watching on my phone so I couldn't tell for sure. His brother went to Canada with one of his friends around that same time and they managed to come back home with two , two stroke street bikes. Two stoke street bikes had been outlawed here by then. One was a Suzuki and the other was a Honda V3, 400cc. They managed to get them licensed, but not sure how.
Dude, you're making me PAUSE to say this: I love your content! ( I would buy a T shirt, but I only have sideburns...) This episode had me laughing so hard - keep up the good work.
@@BikesandBeardsI think the bikes are a hidden gem in the market. I would put them in the $2500-3500 range. Mines Pearl white and has the Vance & Hines pipes so it may be worth less to a collector.
I had an MT01 here in Australia - great bike, very different to ride. No good for pillion but was a good club bike. You got the upgraded version which is worth a lot more. Keep it if you can. Just sayin'
Hey brother, I just wanna say how happy I am. I came up on your channel and I want to say keep those Bible verses coming. You never know who needs to hear them or what people are going through, I know personally I’m laying here recuperating from what I hope is savingsurgery and I’m laying face down watching your videos and I gotta get on one of those and gasoline shirts in a medium if you still got them ha ha take care man really enjoy the program
This is a awesome concept for a video! Love all the new bikes an cannot wait to see the remaining 8. Man I believe you must live close to me ! I see familiar things in your footage I’m on the Spring Hill/Columbia border
I bought that same interceptor 2 years ago for 500.00 bucks. 2000k on it. Mint condition. Got it running, road it 3 miles and sumerized it and now it will sit another 30 years!! It was a barn find. Don't worry about your obsession. It's okay. He'll, I own 1 of every year or every color made of the rd350's. Why, because I can.
Many people think because youre buying something at an auction that they're all perfect giod running or even what they say they are , you can really get screwed if you're not careful and know what you're buying is what its claimed
If i had the money, which i don't right now, I would love to replace my 75 Honda CB750K. I bought it from the original owner with 18 miles on it out of his house barn for $100. Had it almost completely restored (just needed paint and to replace the rear fender) and has a kid pull out in front of me while i was doing around 70 on the highway. All i could do was let go of the bars and "tuck and roll". I got his Blazer at the front wheel and it threw me about 25-30 yards, front wheel was wrapped up under the frame, bars were embedded 2" into his fender. Total loss. But i walked away with some small scratches on my leg. I've always wanted another one but never got the opportunity
It’s not illegal to import a lot of vehicles that you can’t register from a car perspective anyway. You just have to import it for off road use only / race bike car. Like I can import a Mitsubishi Evo 3 easily that way, cause it doesn’t need to meet any regulatory requirements. Now how you get it from that to in the street is the problem, legally.
Been riding for many years, 50+ but would love to own some of these beauties. I'm a Honda guy. Had a sandcast CB750. Sold that 1981. Have another one waiting for restoration. Might sell it. Got a 76CB 750, 75 GL1000 and a 98 Valkyrie.
I have a CBR 600 almost identical to the bike you bought although mine is the last of the model line being 1990. Absolutely brilliant machines, goes well and looks great
Any tips on buying my first bike? I’m planning on getting a CFMOTO 450ss or the 550 Voom SR depending on its price when it comes out. Does anyone have any suggestions about what i should try. I haven’t found anything about them, other than them being up and coming from their past years.
I ride Yamaha's MT-01 since 2010, they're awesome and I never understood why they didn't sell those in the USA. My first one got totalled on a roundabout by a truck with 45k miles on it. I'm on my second one now since 2014, it has done 50k miles now and here in Europe there are bikes who have done well over a 100k miles. $7000 for it is a steal. It's a cruiser and a bruiser, depending on your mood. Keep it! You'll never get another chance.
Here in Germany there are people who go to the racetrack with the MT01. I own the MT01's little brother, the BT1100 Bulldog. It was built by the Italian Yamaha importer Belgarda.
Shawn I have seen the mighty 1985 VFR 1000R in the wild a fee times . Ridden by this guy Johnny he was a legend on the south side . He did this full lean turn almost dragging his knee . Then pulled a wicked wheelie . I fell in love with that very bike . At that time . Fun fact I got to ride with John back in 2001 . On my 99 CBR 600. He was on a YZF 1000 that was made into a naked bike. I asked him about that bike he said when he had the bike it was only for a month or so. He flipped it doing a wheelie go fig. He got messed up pretty good . And from that point on no more epic wheelies . Good job on the bikes . Very cool bikes by the way. I would love to ride that 1700cc naked bike . It looks way wicked . And the V45 is a bike from my youth . Hold on to it most of them were 700cc bikes because of the stupid tariff. Because the big babies at HD had there vag's all wet . They are out selling us and beating the snot out of our bikes in durability and performance. So old Ron SMH Regan put the end to 750 cc bikes just dumb . So enjoy the bikes dude . I would like ride with you one day . If I ever get a bike again. So God Bless your family and your self bud. 🙏

What a great deal on that HD! Looks like you are going up in the world, Jay Lenno, awesome. Are you planning on starting up SRK Cycle again? I am about to look at a bike on Thursday, and if you are starting up SRK Cycle, I might hold off. I trust you to be fair and honest. BTW, as a lifelong cowboy hat wearer, yes, I grew up on farms in east TN and have had my own horses, I gotta say that I love your plastic tourist cowboy hat, or aka as a "Dude" hat. Hahahaha. Just teasing ya, brother.
I think the yamaha MT01 got imported because it was available in 3 different tuning kits from factory. The first one was just a simple one which was street legal, but the second and third are full on race kits which were not street legal. Because the one you bought has an single seat and not double it can indicate that the bike was a non-street legal hence it could have been imported.
I'd be in trouble there. I'd want ALL of the Kawi ZX-7's. I think that Interceptor you bought might have been the '84 500 I wanted. I wasn't able to go this year, but if I had been there, you and I would've been bidding against each other. My first sportbike was an '86 500, so I really wanted it.
I remember when the MT-01 first came out....I think it was 2006????.....I kinda remember when the MT-01 first came out....I was working at a Yamaha/Triumph dealer in Canada the Yama-rep took us out to the track to ride it and the all new Roadliner 1900....spent all day riding both and fell in love with both ....the following weekend we rode a bunch of bikes to a bike show in Gastown....downtown Vancouver BC......we were all fighting over who got to ride the MT-01 the hour there and back.....I rode it down and the supped up Roadliner back......😢one of the greatest days of my life....birth of my kids was pretty good too......wedding day was a mess.....still ok but

To have Jay Leno tell people you guys know your stuff is just about the best compliment ever. Noice!👍✌️🏍️

We have them in Canada. Im shocked they arent in the states. 2nd gen vmax and M109s displace about the same i thought.
Yeah the vmax is 1700 v4, does that mean the mighty triumph rocket 3 isnt in the us.
They aint rare, the owners just rarely sell them.

RE: MT01 : That was my bike you bought. 13:00 , 16:36, 21:53
I bought it from a Bonham auction years ago.
It is currently registered in Cali. If they had the Mecum plate on it, People wouldn't
have known that, and it kept the price down.
I've got 2 favorite Bikes and Beards video types,
1. Craig videos
2. Auction videos
Now if we got a Craig and Sean auction-off video, id lose my mind. Maybe like compete to buy the best cheap bike at an auction, or even better, buy the bike they think would make them the best profit at an auction and see who sells for more.
I would like to see Craig's picks from the auction. I bet there would be a lot of classic Yamaha dirt bikes in there.
Ah yes. My favorite bible verse. The one where Jesus bought 26 motorcycles at the auction.
Amen brother
It's right beside the verse where you smart sass your elders and then play video of it publicly.
Moses took 2 of each, on his arc😂

Wellll get a hond wave or whatever they sell it as in japan
I loved those when the came out, always thought they were cool and unique.
the red white and blue interceptors are the best looking sport bikes ever IMO
And ate their cams. They didn’t line bore the cam caps properly plus you needed a special tool to lift the cam when you adjusted the tappets to mimic oil pressure, which nobody had.
Trials riding is actually the first type of “motorcycle” riding I learned with my best friend as a kid. Out of the mini bikes and into the Yamaha TY80’s. What an absolute blast that was and ended up being extremely valuable experience for the upcoming neuron riding we advanced to. 👍🏻😎👍🏻
Cleetus McFarland 😂😂 love it
I have 2 1983 Honda Interceptors, I hope she runs, the ignitor boxes like to go bad, they do make replacements. Also good luck on the carbs if you have to pull them.

I hope you bought a Y2K jet bike. That is definitely the most known motorcycle in Jay Leno's collection.
I wish!
Yeaaaahhhhhh, I’ve been waiting for an upload. Keep up the good work man.
I’m sure you will enjoy the MT01 but the gloss comes off when you:
a) try to get dirt out of all the tiny crevices which can be seen but not reached.
b) spend the rest of the day, which started as a simple cleaning job, going round tightening up all the loose bolts which you found during cleaning. Vibration from those huge pistons isn’t obvious but its ability to loosen nuts is amazing.
Even with Loctite red?
I paid 3200 for a 08 Suzuki C90T with less than 10,000 miles on it just like a brand new one. Only 1 oil change😂👍
Yep, bought a 07 Victory Hammer S with 7K miles for $5K last May. I've owned 11 street bikes so far and it's my favorite of the bunch.
@@derek17005 the Hammer’s are so cool. I got a 100ci Vegas

Love this episode. Great seeing some rare unique bikes come back in. That Yamaha 1700 was a Euro release only that I always wanted to ride.
I winced imagining someone accidentally knocking over one bike and they all go like dominoes.😂

So it’s illegal to legally bring that bike in through customs but it’s legal to illegally smuggle the bike into the country? 🤷♂️
Speaking of legalities… are we ever gonna get an update on the Destroyer? Inquiring minds want to know 🤔 Sending love from NY 🙏🏽🫡
It's funny about the MT01. We got them in Canada but nobody wanted them. Wrong engine for a standard style chassis. All torque, no revs and just a strange design. I see them for sale often for around $4000 CAD.
Quite a few of those Yamaha are gray marketed from Canada. Depends on state/DMV as far as title goes.
I didn’t think those could be street legal don’t they have a low top speed like 45 mph or something?

Harley's are dropping like a rock...
There was a guy in my bike club, the MV Agusta Owners club, who said "when I see a Brough for sale I just buy it" he had loads of them.
That Cleetus McFarland part was too funny. hahahahahaha

Bible verse is always my favorite part.
I sold my 2011 roadking and purchased a 2014 street glide.
I have regretted it ever since. I love my street glide, but my road king was so beautiful and so many memories.
Thank you for including Bible verses in your content. The world SO needs the Word.
Anyway you can let me know when the next auction is. Also I’m a huge motorcycle guy grew up in Allentown close to Lancaster now live in New York.

I owned a couple of trials bikes in my youth, a Beamish Suzuki RL250 and a Yamaha TY174. You will find your Beta incredibly light and extremely undergeared, i fitted bigger front sprockets for road use on them but they would still climb up the side of a house.
That VF750F is an interesting bike honestly. If it runs and rides in good condition, you'll be surprised how much of a blast they are.

That Pierce was awesome. Art.

Those Yamaha MT01 directly imported to Australia from Japan & even now, not cheap. A good one between 13k & 20k, depending on km.
I cannot believe youre back in the auctions and buying bikes. This is what i loved about the channel. Re sub
By far the best TH-cam channel his personality makes it way better
I'd be in trouble there. I'd want ALL of the Kawi ZX-7's. I think that Interceptor you bought might have been the '84 500 I wanted. I wasn't able to go this year, but if I had been there, you and I would've been bidding against each other. My first sportbike was an '86 500, so I really wanted it.
