    Thanks for reminding me of this product. I used it some years ago to patch a hole in a shower we found at the share shack at our rural dump. Perfect for our cabin .
    However, I now have a nearly new tub to repair.
    Looks easy and won't run on a vertical surface . Didn't realize it was sandable. Good to know. Thanks again

    Nope, wrap it in plastic wrap and put it back in the tube. Because you've squeezed the tip and mixed it some, it will start to harden if you just shove back in and close the cap.

    How to repair the rust around the draining hole of a bathtub, please?

    • @WhatTheFoxSherriFox
      @WhatTheFoxSherriFox  ปีที่แล้ว

      If it is just rust on the surface, try sprinkling some baking soda on a sliced potato and rubbing that on the rust spots, if the rust has eaten part of the porcelain, you can use this product to fill any dips that may have occurred after you clean it… See if this helps

      @@WhatTheFoxSherriFox - One other question about that. Now my tub is I guess older. The entire tub and inner showet wall is smooth, no tiles. Anyway, how can I go about coloring it right? I tried this. My reality with this stuff was that it needs to be mixed between your fingers to a uniform color. While doing this it will begin to adhere to the fingers. Once that happens it adheres thicker and faster. I have no idea how she did this with a French manicure. You'll see.

    Thank you for this video!! I had no idea this product existed! I hope you can answer this for me. If you have a really long crack in the base of tub (you know where you stand and move around on), will this stand up to a persons weight once fully cured? Right now I've been using Flex Seal Paint and it eventually starts to come up so I have to redo it every 6 months or so. This seems more of a permanent fix but I'm just not sure if weight put on this method will work. Also do you think putting the Flex Seal Paint over it will ensure a greater safe fail for any water or mold getting through to the floorboards? The person who installed this tub didn't do it correctly causing the new tub to crack at pressure points. This is an apartment so I don't want to incur any charges once I leave. Just looking for the best solution to fixing this darn tub.
