- Today we are diving into the things I love about my 1994 Toyota 4Runner and more importantly the things I hate about the car which I will be changing in the HOPEFULLY near future! I have owned this 4Runner for the last 6 years so there are plenty of things that I love and hate about it....

I bought my 83 Trans Am brand new from the car dealer while I was in military stationed in Colorado. During blizzards winter storms, only 4WD vehicles you can see on the road. I have to replace my rear tires with 15”dia. 12” wide with studs on it in able to drive it on snow and icy road😀. So I bought my 92 4Runner 4WD brand new from Toyota car dealer. It was an excellent suv during winter time. Until now I still have it with minor dents, repair and regular tuneup. I use my 4runner mainly for hunting and fishing. I started upgrading it with LED lights and off-road gears.😀
I like your outlooks for the pros and cons. Just got my 2nd gen about a year ago. I think calling them Rigs is appropriate haha

Technically the body style was called a "wagon" when it came out. My friends call it a truck , which is cool. But if you ask me, it's a car.
Its already been decided that we are calling it a rig. A wagon is more like a hatch back like the toyota corolla station wagon, you will be converted to calling it a rig soon enough, just wait lol
94 3vze 4x4 here. just to give yall some giggles.... removed my intake plenum to replace a fuel pressure damper that was squirting more than ur mom when i decided to try cialis. realized plenum had 30 years of gross shit inside the intake passeges things and wanted to clean it after replacing the damper. shot a bunch of chemical flamable gun cleaner carbon cleaner stuff in there and did a pretty good job cleaning the areas i had access too. got a paper towel stuck in that last intake tube thing while wiping the excess off. couldnt figure out how to get paper towel out. decided to shoot more cleaner stuff into the intake tube thing with the paper towel lodged inside, and hold it upside-down to soak papertowel in flamable shit and hold a grill lighter in the hole so it would burn and i could shake out burnt remainders of my current problem. dont do this, caught myself on fire and had to actually stop drop and roll for my nutsacks life. hair was singed on my leg, pair of shorts ruined, but my balls are okay and i cant wait to do it again when i have to remove the plenum again this week because while removing the plenum initially, the fuel line that attaches to the damper snapped in half and i didnt realize it until i finished my repair after catching myself on fire and realized now that that area of my motor is squirting more than your mom when i decided to do cialis AND i slept in the other room and just gave her a hitachi magic wand and a picture of my abs from 1996
in summary the tail gate is bad ass but for a non southwest lifelong 2nd gen you WILL be replacing things you break while doing a repair and its annoying af but u know whats not annoying af? ur moms face while jumping in my 2nd gen trunk bc it has a tailgate waiting for me to finish my repair and give her that magic wand and the picture of my abs from 1996

2nd gen is a SUV but it’s still considered a truck because it still has a tailgate. I’ve had mine for 12 years. Definitely a love and hate relationship for sure.
The tailgate is the very reason I got a 2nd gen over a 3rd gen. Thats a long time but im sure its still running as strong as the day you got it! Mine tries but since it sat for 2 years before it came into my ownership, its tired and needs a rebuild
do you know what causes the clicking when you turn? I've got the same issue... cheers
Im not 100% sure why mine is clicking but if I had to guess, I would say its suspension/ball joint related. I am actually planning to make a video on how to diagnose that clicking and what you need to repair in order to make it go away!
its the bump stops for the turning radius. they are meant to have plastic caps but after 30 years they disintegrate.
Bought a Red 2nd gen yesterday... I'm on my 3rd 2nd gen... I'm going to collect more...

I rebuilt my engine, the 3vz grew on me, got rid of the egr and ac and put in an electric fan as well, 2nd gen is my fav, besides the 1st, not a fan of the look of the newer 4runners, too bubbly looking
No way! Did you do an NA rebuild or did you build the motor for adding boost in the future? I plan on getting rid of the EGR since the 5VZ doesn't have it but AC is a must have in this truck for me. 2nd is my favorite as well, I love the body lines and how aggressive it looks too

@@schlomoshekelstein908 CX Racing has a turbo kit for the 3VZE. No one really knows about it because its not that popular of a turbo kit
@@AustinKamuela I dont see any turbo for the 3vze for sale on that site, how are you going to program the ECU for more fuel?
