Garrett vinyl wrap the truck! Would make a great video, there’s not a lot on wrap for 4th gen’s. Now’s the perfect time to do it with Black Friday sales.
Maaan, this rig is Thicc as Precious. Grinding real hard to experience this platform. Found a couple 4th Gen V8s for less than 15k. Thanks for the inspiration!😎
@@Groundhog_yay I am hyper vigilant on the pricing. However, the California market is just now starting to dip. We believe a 11k purchase can be made in the East Coast. We will wait.😎
Nice build. Could you do more traveling/exploring videos? I get those are way more effort than walk arounds, but you do a great job editing and capturing the scenery. I quickly scanner through your library and would sub in a second if you had more “out and about” videos to look at.
Garrett, I really need some suggestions on CV axels. I have a 3.5 inch lift and the inner CV boots keep coming apart in months. What are you using for CV axels? Thanks so much
I just run stock cv’s. It sounds like you have a lot of angle on your cv’s so you could look into a diff drop kit, but I have the same lift and I don’t have any issues
@@Garrett_Logan what's it take to roll on 34s or 35s daily. Is it rough on the truck? i have a 4th gen on 33s. comtemplating if it is worth the trouble
Nice build, but in my opinion, the forerunner chassis and suspension cannot handle 35 inch tires properly. It’s just too much tire and it can’t handle the weight. A solid axle swap is definitely needed, but even with that it will never run the tough trails with the Jeeps.
@@BoiseWheeler lol no those are 2 different runners. They were pretty darn similar though lol. James made some pretty awesome changes since the video so they look a lot different now
Baller move with those seats! Very nice build.

Aye for sure bro!
I just bought a 04 with the V8 and 157k miles. Limited. Spotless interior. For $14k. Rust free
@@Garrett_LoganI just bought an 04 limited with toy tech lift. Spotless interior and it has the same demello front bumper.

Stay open to v6's. I bought a 2007 with 122k miles for 14k no rust and clean interior. Look at face book market place also.
Beautiful rig!!!
Absolute beast of a build
@@4R_Customs it’s a role model for us all😂
Garrett, you have to have James do a video specifically on the manual transfer case swap. That’s huge!! Thanks
@@joem2474 I did the swap on my rig and am in the process of editing the video now!
So f... sick bro!!!!
This is incredible. Thanks for sharing this one. 🙌
For sure!!!
I saw this truck in Squamish earlier this week. Had to do a quick walk around of it. Looks sick!
Yeah it’s such a sick rig
James amazing build. Great work
The Porsche seats go crazy
@@ryanmarino6024 Right!!?!
Sick, dude!
I just bought a 4th gen with the 4.7. has the demello front bumper and headers and full exhaust, toy tech lift,

Thanks man! Dude same haha, I already did the transfer case swap and I’m doing 35’s next too lol
Any info on the tcase swap?
@@Ereek444 Yep! I just finished the swap on my rig so you can expect a full tutorial soon.
body mount chop? how’s the rubbing? dope build bro.
Yep he has a body Mount chop, he has a little rubbing on the frame but you can get rid of that by running a higher offset
You need to hit up Carson and do this with his rig. Great video dude!
We might work something out one day! I’ve seen his rig in person and it’s pretty clean
Not sure if I missed it or not but where did you get that paint job at? And what color is that?
I believe it’s lunar rock and it was a wrap

I wanna do 35’s to haha
unreal
Legit💯
What seats are those for the driver and passenger seats??
They’re Porsche seats. I’m not sure from what kind though

You definitely don’t need a SAS to run 35’s in my opinion, I know tons of guys that run 35’s.
@duneatv the RCLT kits provide SAS level flex while retaining IFS stability

Hi Do you interested in adding some LED upgrade or a switch panel to your rig? We hope to do some sponsorship with you!
Anything for the 4Runners?
