I’ll have to amputate my limbs and sell them to afford that damn chair
@@ProtocolAbyss you can sell a kidney and have plenty of money leftover
You get quality, that's what matters.
If i got the money.....
uh head rest ?
Just like all you guys I thought my chair is faulty for sure hahaha
Pull the lever harder all the way up to 12 o'clock position. It should be touching the rim of it's housing, it'll move up on it's own, hope this helps
When is this available in Singapore?
worth Every. Single. Penny.
But it got no headrest? That's a must for those 12h sessions grinding in a game :P
Why? Do you lean back and ruin your posture when you're gaming? If you are, you don't care about your health and will probably be sitting on a Walmart pleather chair worth 99.99.
@@OptionalOG I do both, sit up when I play FPS and lean back when playing MMO's. I found it that people tend to sometimes overthink ergonomic positions outside of an office. It IS important to have a good posture and adjust your chair into a good height and all that. But it is just as important that you find a position that is comfortable and relaxing for you aswell. The best thing to do is to get up every now and then, and I even stand up the whole day sometimes at work. I don't really find that a cheapo plastic chair would really do me any good unless it's one without a backrest so you're forced to sit without support, but who wanna game like that? :P
From Herman Miller's website :
*Why doesn’t the chair have a headrest? Can I add one?*
_"The Embody Gaming Chair’s ergonomic design is advanced enough that you don’t need one. You don’t need a headrest when you’re standing, and the chair’s features cause your body to mimic that same posture. We do not offer a headrest addition and are confident that once you play in Embody, you won’t miss it in the slightest."_
@@monstar5746 I Can tell you that I disagree. I miss a headrest, every single day. I can’t wait for the atlas headrest.
@@lejusticierdunet7262 yep
Make it available in more countries?
That's an amazing twitter handle
For 1200$ is better be
why doesnt it have a headrest
Good question
the official Herman miller answer is that it doesn't need one, they say that you dont headrest while you standing why should you while you seating.
they say that the chair supports your body in a way that you dont need a headrest, same as standing
@@MrDragonorp in regular office environment that might be the case. But when gaming especially using controller, its very common to lean back and using the headrest.
@@MrDragonorp well that's some FALSE logic right there. Standing is not the same as sitting, NOT SIMILAR IN ANY WAY, so it makes no sense to say that if you don't need to rest your head standing you don't need it sitting. That's like saying that you don't need support for your head when you're lying down either; just hang from a branch. Plus you don't use a chair when standing, so then you don't even need a chair to sit
So beautiful... wait what chair?
How to put your chair up again when it's in the down position?
"Cooling Foam" they say. For all we know, that's just a Grade 1 Fabric slapped in the Embody, paired with the "Logitech" branding to make it sound awesome lol
@666NedFlanders there you go.spoken like a true end user. Im an office furniture installer you idiot. I eat ergononic chairs for breakfast. May the good Lord have pity on you soul you ignorant prick. That's just another way of saying "you honestly don't know what you're talking about" by the way. You just read the effin chair specs review, what are you? A salesperson?
NO RGB?
So thats the face behind the voice
holyshit man, I didn't think it would be this expensive. That's basically the price for a new computer setup.
*Where is The Headrest !! ???*
Thats good!
i really want this compared to the original embody
I went with this chair instead of a gpu upgrade. I think I made the right choice. Don’t need a 3080 to play csgo lmao
Hilarious I did the same
The lumbar support sticks into my lower back is this normal?
I preffer the Aeron I own and the mirra 2 I have at office
Does she come with the chair?
A gaming chair done the proper way
I wont lie i have this chair, it feels good but the same time for small people lol
Mine has just arrived and can't figure out how to lift it up... the stick shown here to lower it doesn't lift it
How come my seat depth adjustment is so difficult and nothing like shown in the video? I lift my legs and lift up the handles on the sides and try to slide forward or backward but it doesn’t move. I have to REALLY lift up hard then slide the seat VERY hard too to make it move. When I release the handles I also don’t feel a locking mechanism at all, in fact I can move the seat forward WITHOUT lifting the handles... my chair defective? 😟
Mine just came in & it does not adjust height up. Anyone know if this issue can be resolved or I may be doing it wrong?
Okey, it's a pretty cool Collab between Miller and Logitech G
If I had the money this chair could've been it.
No chair but it’s so pricey! But to be fair anyone who can buy a 2080ti or a $1500 gaming monitor or tv cannot complain.
Shroud should buy this
This Chair costs more than my whole setup..
if im having neck pain what could it be?
your chair and posture position
It's only $1500 guys, don't worry.
Does Maddie come with the chair ? If so , it's worth the high price .
If she does I am asking for a refund...
How much it costs? I can't find it on their website
of course you can find it on their site. what kind of quesiton is that. you are literally on the INTERNET right now. if only you can search for anything on this thing called the internet LOL
I trust her
if this chair costs more than your PC setup, then its not for you
lol yea people keep commenting " cost more than my whole setup" like duh you're obviously not the demographic then
why is there no headrest? and why does it cost so much? it can't be the material or the way this is assembled. it just can't and everyone knows. so why???
High end office chairs always cost more than 1k. The build quality, adjustability, design and decade-long warranty has its price.
It is the materials and the way this is assembled, you will not see any fakes of this below $1,000 because this design is so complex that not even chinese companies get knock it off, the Aeron is another herman miller chair that costs over $1,000 there are no fake aerons.
LOL, the Embody has been around for ages as a professional office chair. Hilarious how they slap the word "Gamer" in front of it and try to market it to kids who have no way to afford something of that quality. These gamer kids are seriously not going to understand how big of a quality difference is with Herman Miller and Steelcase products are compared to their silly race bucket chairs.
Lol you must be living under a rock. Wake up, its 2020. Gamer make more money for a 4 hours session than what you are making a year. 😂😂😂
Arrogance. “These gamer kids” have minds, please don’t put everyone who games into a stereotypical idiot group.
I'm 22yo web developer who also loves to game from time to time, I also know how great of a product Herman Miller chairs are. So if I can have a chair optimized for both everyday tasks *and* gaming, that's just perfect to me.
I've seen the little differences made to the gaming embody to feel better while playing, where the regular embody could feel awkward in game due to the horizontal curve. It's hard to explain but that's mostly about feeling comfortable while playing too. Quite a unique chair in that regard.
@@freezekiller Yeah and how many of them are Shroud, Ninja, Disrespect, etc? Like 0.00000000000000000000000001%? Yeah, forget getting an education and a job or starting your own business, just be a streamer/gamer!

Jesus, why do they make something like this so difficult to adjust. The seat extender on this is so difficult to move I had to slam the handles back with a hammer just to get it to move!
"So, that's everything you need to know about setting up your Embody gaming chair"
Me: Alright! I'll sell my whole gaming rig first to buy this.
cool but expensive TT
Armrests should not be adjusted the way she does it.. to adjust armrest You need to pull armrests up so the mechanism will release and move to the sides without cracking noises..
I wish ! It's too much cheddar.
“Entire body” but not headrest come on...

Headrest is not necessary unless you recline

Why is it so expensive 😢👊🏼
Sammy and its so freaking good
Because its designed with the philosophy of buy it for life. High quality materials, massively durable, highly ergonomic and back saving.
Compares favourably to buying cheap $100 chairs and disposing of them after a year or two as the seat padding wears out.
Because it’s made in the USA
Its also 1500 c;
this chair should have been around the $500-$700 mark.
Logitech would pair up with DX racer if they wanted to build a 500$ chair. Logitech is targeting those gamers that can afford the 1500$ asking price. They have the data to prove it’s gonna work.
Ah is that the same Jon Campbell who criticised DXRacer and the likes for just sticking the word "Gaming" onto "Chair"? Funny considering this is basically slapping "Gaming" on the existing Embody, with a thicker seat pad..
CLARIFICATION: The backrest also has the thicker foam. This is quite a game changer. Should have been marketed as an "upgrade" rather than a new design.
Hmm what chair is that in the background behind Jon?
Its a Herman Miller Aeron
I will play games in sleep position
I won't take measurements for gamimg
no head rest
Yeah I love it send me one 😂
two company combining to make a thriving chair? Also two company want to get profits from it. So we pay for two companies.
Uhhh, what? The non logitech version of this chair is more expensive.
@@Kilian541 Wrong comparison.
Jeremy You’re saying we pay extra because two companies collaborated, but we do not.
@@Kilian541 whatever I don't like G. Never seen any robust product from G company. Kindof selling plastic stuff to children with fancy design. I don't understand why Herman miller cooperate with such a company. HM might ruin their reputation.

Gamers cant afford your gaming chair
"gamers"
You mean Kids and teens right? cuz i can. It helps to not waste money on garbage as well. :)
@@iCatCloud majority of gamers are kids and teens.
@@irbvek Then those kids and teens can stick with goodwill or your nearest office store chairs. Hell, as a kid, going from a dining room chair to a used falling apart cheap office chair was amazing growing up. As I became an adult I can afford such an office chair. It is not in anyway the chair your average kid/teen should be investing in. I know it's a smaller crowd but there is a market for 20-30+ year old gamers like myself that also works from home or just want a nice chair that also is "gaming" focused.
no headrest no buy
They say you do;'t need one due to how it aligns your spine. I've seen other owners agree.

The average person has trouble justifying a computer purchase over 500$. Do you really thin the average person will buy a 1500$ chair?
