I ordered this video before when I watched the other one, very good! How about using fresnels, I have a really hard time using them! Channel fan, congratulations again!!!
Ok, I’m back. I think an interesting way to repeat this would be by making placing a reflector between the hard spotlight and the soft light . Like with a beauty dish style of light. A rig could be built to hold both lights for a single point of control. You would essentially be utilising the shaded portion of the reflector . I even wonder if one of those reverse mounted focusing sticks made for parabolic soft boxes could be modified to hold both lights . One light facing the umbrella for the soft light , and another facing toward the subject . It’s wild we don’t have these things on the market .anyway , the blueprint makes sense in my head , I don’t know if I was able to transcribe it efficiently into words 😅
Great tip! Love that 🙏🏼 I’ve also seen people cut holes in their 4x4 diffusion sheets and softboxes, but I’m not a fan of that one. Yours is a much better solution 😅
Thanks, Great job on the video. Also, like 99% of online lighting tutorials, you show how to light a person standing or sitting still. In many serranoes in video the person and or camera is moving. Please do a video on lighting for movement. Best Wishes David Jones

Thanks again! Fresnels are a great topic to cover, so I’ll add that to the list!! 😃
Well played. This has been one of my shower thoughts for quite some time. I think this can get really interesting using gels .
Funny you say that! I have on my content calendar a follow up with RGB lighting or gels to explore the different effects. Thanks for tuning in!

You can get them from the same source, with a mirror/silver/crls and a big white frame/polly behind.
Great tip! Love that 🙏🏼
