Abir Bhattacharjee is there, at ASU for the industrial experience. He’s not there for the academic research (PhD, Thesis based MS, Masters by Research (MSR)). He’s at ASU to get paid and make some money. He’s taking the easiest courses to float & cruise by & he’s there to land that top job (6 figures minimum; industrialist).
Can you point out the part in the video where I said "it is not worth doing MS ?" This video is not an opinion. This is more of a framework to quantifying risks and make more informed decisions.
The alumnis on these 2 podcasts did MSBA and MSISM at WP Carey, this might be useful: th-cam.com/video/6nE3AJ0IqaA/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/9RI_7hvTsTE/w-d-xo.html
Hey.. I am a Law Graduate from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 . Any idea about law related master programs? It is veey difficult to find actual details regarding my subject scheme.
Hey Abir! Great video, really informative. Quick question - I'm starting my US coursework this August, but I'm still in India. I've noticed a ton of banks and financial firms are already opening (and some closing) apps for Summer 2025 internships. Those are my target areas, and I'm worried I'll miss out if I wait till I arrive. I'm tempted to start applying now, but I'm kinda stuck on some application questions: Work authorization in the US? (I will be by Summer 2025, but not yet) Which uni to list? (My upcoming US one or my previous Indian one?) What address or phone number to use? (Don't have a US one yet) Should I go ahead and apply now or wait till I'm in the US? Any tips on how to handle this? Thanks!
1. You should absolutely start applying right now. 2. Yes you should have work auth DURING the internship which you will have. 3. The US university because you will be enrolled with the US uni during the internship. 4. You can use your edu email (if that is not setup yet, then just use your personal email for now) for your phone number - you can put Indian number now (but make sure to change that as soon as you get a US number) - a lot of applications might not actually ask for phone number because email is the primary form of communication.
I think they help less in pool hirings (internships and new grad) as compared to normal lateral hirings because the #applications are extremely large (think 30,000+) - but there's definitely some value to it (even if it's not substantial)
Really needed much more of this type of video, please be consistent and bring such quality content on a regular basis.
yes sir

How has been your experience with the rigor?
I think luck plays a huge role in things. I've been lucky in a lot of cases, so things have been smooth for me.
