From last 2 weeks I was thinking to comment down regarding the discord server. Surprisingly, you have mentioned it today so that's great! I would love to join it and even volunteer it as well by being a mod or whatever I can do best from my side. Congratulations for getting an internship 😇
Would most likely plan to come into fall 24 , but really discouraged by the current scenario, what would your suggestion be ? Should this scenario become better or worse by the 2025 and what are my chances of getting part-time or internship in ASU. Would I be better off in India , because this risk is really anxiety inducing lol.
Even if it's slightly better than now, I think the overall demand will slightly go down and the supply (of international grads) has increased a lot, so opportunities will definitely shrink in the next few years. If you have a high paying job in India, you might make a decent amount of money at India, without the risk.
From ASU, I barely know anyone who's landed an internship, I'm expecting more and more people to land an internship in the spring semester. However I did see a lot of folks landing internships, on LinkedIn/Reddit.
1. Be very prepared to spend a lot of time in job hunting with the hope of landing one job/internship 2. Keep costs as low as possible to reduce debt [on campus jobs, assistantships, scholarships, keeping expenses low]
its January rn is it too late to apply i did do like 50 appilications during the fall semester but coulnt bec of doing a part time job as well as managing studies projects etc.???
Absolutely not, most summer 2023 interns got their interviews and offers in the spring semester. I'm expecting a similar pattern this year. A lot of orgs will hire interns in the next 4 months.
Hey Im planning for Masters in CS for fall 24 basically thesis/research oriented (23 passed out, have worked on 2-3 research projects, 8.23 cgpa). I have submitted few applications, and I want to know is it good to pursue masters in this? I mean like what are the chances of getting a job if I get into any of the college? Or shld I try for MS in CS professional one instead?
You’ll be graduating in 2026, things should be much better then (hopefully) As for getting a job, people are still getting jobs, it’s just things have become a lot harder.

I think it is a great idea to create a discord server
Looks like you're in Kolkata ,can you stay in India while summer break and yet do internship?
Most firms won't let you work from outside the US due to compliance issues (1-2 weeks remote from India is fine, if your manager agrees to it)
Discord is a big yes! Great Insight :)
Can you share resume template which you are using and works with ATS?
I use Wonsulting's resume template. It is ATS compliant. You should be able to find it on google, easily.
Hardwark n Dedication works... well done.. Congratulations🎉

Nice video! How many people have secured an internship from your knowledge in your cohort and Fall 2023?

HI
What is that you would suggest for spring 2024 students ?
1. Be very prepared to spend a lot of time in job hunting with the hope of landing one job/internship
2. Keep costs as low as possible to reduce debt [on campus jobs, assistantships, scholarships, keeping expenses low]
Can you give us any insights for Aerospace engineering?
Hey! Sorry I don't enough information on the Aerospace programs but I'll try to get someone on my channel (podcast) to get some info.
