Great music happening all over the city and i didn't hear one thing about it. We have a really cool music scene and it's a big part of the identity of the city. Catch great shows at Lefty's Live Music in the Drake neighborhood, Woolys in the East Village, Gaslamp downtown, Vaudeville Mews downtown, The Yacht Club on Ingersoll, Carl's Place (Tuesday Blues Jam), and The Greenwood Lounge. Just to name a few.

Kirkwood is in cedar rapids not des moines. Iowa city is near by and has a tin of international students.

I come from Urbandale. I would love having lunch at Taystee Taco and dinner at the Lag in King. I now live in TX. If I visit the DM area, I watch speed, namely in Windsor Heights. I have been to 18 of these places. Its actually a pretty lame list. Did you notice that the Capitol was not listed? Named a lotta resturants, but not Hibachi Grill which is the #1 resturant in Iowa. They did not mention the Casino, the Christmas Light display in Altoona, Lake Saylorville and its dam, nor Adventureland. Grays Lake, International Air Port...I mean, the more I type, the more I realize that this list just plain sucks. Go to Green Bay, they got 500,000 ducks.
