One small example of how utterly selfish and self involved she was: King George died of lung cancer, likely due to a lifetime of cigarette smoking. From that point forward, Elizabeth had a horror of the practice. Margaret knew this. Margaret did not care and continued to smoke 3 packs a day Inflicting 2nd hand smoke on absolutely everyone in her presence - Including the Queen. I am sure Queen Elizabeth could have pushed the issue and banned smoking in the palace, but she chose not to do. One imagines because she chose not to inflict her will on others.
