I think William will be even more than Diana could have ever dreamed. He has taken so much from what his mother taught him. He picked the right person to share his life and someone who his a great support and calming partner. She would be proud.
When Diana took her sons to places like Centrepoint she wanted them to be aware that they were privileged. Apparently one son learned from her advice and one didn't.
I think he will be the big disappointment, heislazybully and a big ego, but no substance.

Tbh I feel William suffered the most, from his parents' failed marriage to Princess Di's death. Being the oldest child, he had lots of expectations and burdens on him. To go through all that, just at the age of 15, is something I can't ever imagine having to go through.

And i do think Diana did to an extent enjoy the spotlight but as any 19 year old I don’t think she fully realised what it meant to be married to a crown prince. And you can’t deny that yes the royal family is cruel (the way they didn’t let Charles get married to Camilla in the first place) however it’s also cruel that they let the marriage of him and Diana get ahead knowing he wasn’t interested. Nobody no matter how power hungry or glory hungry they are likes being cheated on or being humiliated in that manner. My thought is that both Charles and Diana were victims of the monarchy and it’s dedication to a perfect image.

I agree because the expectations for William were so different. It wasn't that he was shown preference (other than for any eldest son in any family) it was that he could not allowed to behave with impunity like Harry was, he will one day be our King and will be judged for everything he says and does.
Princess diana will always be remembered as the peoples princess, while camila will always be remembered as the mistress and a home wrecker.
To be fair, he was forced to marry someone he wasn't in love with. It doesn't matter how good looking or kind she was. This was no more than an arranged marriage of sorts.

I am sorry everyone. I loved Diana also but do see she had many of the same problems Harry is exhibiting now. She very much encouraged the paparazzi and wanted constant attention, again Megan and harry. As a King I think William will be quite strict and no drama or any of that nonsense to be acceptable. He will do for the ordinary Joe and perhaps as he said make one of the castles a true mental health hospital with help for patients to do better, not a place they are just shut away in. He also said for the drug users he would dedicate another castle and again, bring in help, not more drugs. Real help to get these people functioning. If they have mental diseases they would be sent to the other hospital he would have created. Catherine, the Jewel in the crown will always be there, please God, to lend a helping hand wherever she can. God bless them. MeGain created William cheating in 2019 and some although at the time MeGhan said the was just joking, many journalists took her seriously, or felt they got a sensational story, which seems to be still going on.

I never thought of this until I found out this on my own. I'm telling you what I found out after wasting almost my whole life with a narcassist...your chosen partner can be jealous of you. They will steal any of your ideas or knowledge and pass it as there own. Anything you do is not good enough you get treated so wrong and when they see they can't hurt you they will find other ways to hurt you.....and when does don't work they will try and try until they succeed. When your finally hurt, they will use any human tactics to finish you. Only the strongest survive. They will not do it in front of anyone, they will play a great act in front of everyone but when you arealone is like seeing the demons true faces without there mask. I don't understand why such wicked people have to exist. They will harm you so much that you will end up wanting to die because you see no escape. There great manipulators so don't even try to ask for help because they will be quick to switch things around. William has Diana's mannerisms. Including a particular "stare". Diana had this low head beautiful and signature stare. We thank God we can ALWAYS remember her through her sons. William always looked after the mother...very considerate son. In many photos he is seen ushering the mum. Lovely

She adored Harry because he didn’t appear to be royal, he pulled faces at photographers, he was full of mischief but he adored her back and didn’t give a fig about the fact that he was royal, which showed in some of his antics as an almost adult, at parties. He was hurting and didn’t care what people thought of him, I can understand that.

Now that Harry has been speaking about "his reality" I realize that the person who suffered the most and perhaps is still suffering is William. The day Will decides to tell his side of the story, it will certainly be more shocking and more revealing than anything that anyone has said. Silence is gold! Will knew the good and bad side of his mum. At some point, he was her confident. She wanted to raise a man who will be the people's King, a King who can relate to ordinary people just like Will is right now. Will was in the middle of his parents rifts, he was old enough to see, understand and feel what was going on, at the same time trying to protect his younger brother (who def could not understand everything at the time), on top of that he had the pressure of being correct because of the duties that awaited him. Man, if anyone deserved to break down it was Will, but thank God He met just the right woman to give him stability and balance. Now look at his brother acting and claiming that he suffered the most in his upbringing... The day Will decides to speak out...ouch!

It's interesting to watch this considering what has just happened recently regarding Harry. He obviously idolises his mother, whereas maybe William sees her as a normal human with flaws. I am not sure I would use the word "idolise" because it seems that Harry has a very unhealthy vision of his mother. He believes that Diana has a connection with his wife and even when he refers to his private parts he has to mention that he used his mother's favourite cream to soothe. This is not normal.
I'm 4 years younger than Diana, and remember the wedding, how beautiful she was walking down the aisle, her children, her funeral... So surreal now.....

I remember when Diana died. My own daughter grieved for her. A mother herself, she commented “what are those two boys going to do without their mother?” Two years later my daughter passed away, also leaving two very young boys. I’ll never forget that.

Well in the bigger picture, the world needed a Prince William and the only way to achieve this was for princess Diana and Prince Charles have a baby. Diana knew this but couldn't accept this fate fully so she ran after her destiny and will forever be remembered for it. But her destiny cost her her life which she knew it would one day. My adoration for Diana will never waiver. She was a genuine individual who was put in a very difficult position considering she was really a teenager when she got married.
Only out of her teens for 30 days.
Diana died too young, it is just so sad that she did not live long enough to find someone with whom she would have been really happy, as Charles did.
I never changed my opinion of her. I always admired her because for me Diana was a Goddess of kindness and tenderness and now, at least for me, she is almost a saint. This is how I praise his memory and his legacy. I still love and miss her in this world on the brink of disaster. Princess Diana touched people, changed lives, left a positive mark on the world.I hope the Princes of Galles will continue to honor his memory. Contrary to what the "spare" is doing.

The extremely sad part of this whole situation is the great concern for Harry because he walked behind his mother's casket as a young boy but absolutely shows No Concern for William who walked beside him as a young boy as well. I think he was too young and wounded to have walked there. Not sure even a good shrink could have helped him...he was already influenced against the throne.
