I’ve been playing Pokémon Sword and Shield for 48 hours. I’m still on Route 1. I’m playing Pokémon wrong. Why am I doing this to myself?

The square shinies are actually more common in the wild
Actually, due to some programing error, its more common to find square shinies than normal shinies
(The mistake being that the ratios of finding both ((15/16 normal 1/16 square)) Are exchanged/become the opposite when encountering a pokemon)

I mean, in USUM I had to/could global-trade to get a klink, all you had in that was stuff like bulbasaur, squirtle, dratini etc. It's about time GF started purging them, I mean, why would you want a mareep when you can this.... not-mareep-sheep-mon, and klink.

There's a new variation of shinies which have a new flash animation when they're put into battle. Not much is known about them tho other than the new animation
If it's an overworld encounter...then those sparkles aren't ultra rare.
Diamonds are more common for wild shinies, stars are more common for eggs. They're not ultra rare
@@Whiteythereaper Not how that works. An ultra-shiny is more common after a chain, just like brilliant pokemon. Randomly in the wild, the odds are still 8 times less for it to be ultra shiny.
